Can i take mobic and tylenol

Common Questions and Answers about Can i take mobic and tylenol

mobic

Avatar f tn I take lisinopril myself for HBP and have done so for decades. I've never used naproxen except maybe once or twice. One Rx that might possibly be of benefit for arthritis instead of naproxen is meloxicam, also known as Mobic. I use it occasionally with no ill effects to report.
Avatar m tn Yes you can take Mobic with a narcotic pain med. Mobic is a NSAID, and has the same risks as other NSAIDS. In high doses it can cause some kidney issues, the vicodin has tylenol in it and can cause some liver issues in high doses. But they are safe to take together. Typically what you want to watch for is multiple NSAIDS, or Multiple meds with tylenol.
Avatar f tn i am using Mobic on and off for pain. But due to swelling i am not able to make a fist. i have pain on the edges of the palm.
Avatar f tn Hi ladys im 19 weeks pregnant can I take tylenol extra strength or can it only be tylenol? Im having a bad tooth ache and tylenol extra strength is what i have at home rite now! please help??
Avatar f tn I was on Mobic for a year or so and never had any issues besides stomach pain (which any NSAID's can cause) I get stomach pain with any NSAID's. Mobic wasn't really that affective for me but my insurance made me try practically every NSAID on the market before they would approve Celebrex. They denied Celebrex and even recommended a PPI (ulcer med) to take with the NSAID's because they didn't want to pay for Celebrex.
Avatar n tn I am glad because the loratab really is addictive and I would rather not have my body relying on anything. I have been on the loratab for a little over a year now and I feel like crap if I miss a day and go without it. Not only am I in pain (because of female problems and my back) but I feel like I have the flu. How long will I feel that way without it? since I switch my meds today.
Avatar f tn You can take a regular dose of Tylenol.
Avatar n tn 4, my ferritin is 5, hemocrit is 33, I have a headache everyday, and am really tired, I also have pains in my chest that come and go, I went to the emergency room and was diagnosed with heartburn, so I have been taking nexium everyday, but I also have arthritis and was taking Celebrex. Since the blood work and the results the doctor told me to stop taking the Celebrex and just to take Tylenol instead. The doctor now wants me to have an upper GI evaluation. What could possibly be wrong?
Avatar f tn I'm 6 weeks and having horrible headaches, back pain and cramping. I wanted to know what I can take and what works. I'm a little hesitant due to having a miscarriage and I just moved out of state and can't see a doctor until next week.
Avatar f tn Yeah try to take a nap in a dark quiet room with an ice pack on your fore head and eyes, and take tylenol to help also. It just might work then.
Avatar f tn Idk what kinda if meds would help a cold, i usually take tylenol and rest/ stay hydrated and its gone in no time!
Avatar f tn My Dr says i can use robitussin DM and cough drops and Tylenol

Avatar f tn Any form of Tylenol is safe. I would take Tylenol soar throat or cold medicine.
Avatar f tn Tylenol is the only thing you can take. I had the same problem when I was early in my pregnancy. I am now 38 weeks. Before, I would get headaches everyday. Bad ones. Now I haven't had any in months. I suggest drinking lots of water. That was the cause of my headaches. I wasn't dehydrated... but I was close. Just make sure your staying hydrated!
358126 tn?1233015617 Hey ladies, I'm having trouble sleeping & I was wondering; what can I take? or can I take anything?
Avatar f tn I got the flu at about 26 weeks. I'm now 32.5 weeks. I was allowed to take tylenol and I took robitutisum(sp) dm for cough. I Also got throat lozenges they helped. But once my fever got over 102 I was told to go to my normal dr. They ended up giving me tamaflu which I took for 5 days. Theres pros n cons with taking tamaflu. In my case it was a pro as my fever wouldn't go down with just tylenol. Keep fluids up. I'm A FTM too and baby and I are doing great.
6323845 tn?1381188828 I am 7 weeks pregnant and normally take excedrine for my migraines but I looked it up and it can cause a miscarriage what is something safe I can take or just something natural that would help?
Avatar f tn Hi. I'm hoping someone can help. I have to wait to get insurance before I can schedule with an Ortho. I had rt humeral shaft fracture that they put in a rod and screws to fix three years ago. Every couple of months, my scar tissue swells and the site of the fracture is very painful to where I can barely lift anything, and god forbid anyone touch it. The rest of my body becomes painful, achy, fluish. With no fever... Anyone have any idea what could be happening?
Avatar f tn Hiya Girls, does anyone know what sort of painkillers i can take, i keep getting bad headache and i would normally take ibuprofen for it, but i have heard thats not good for the baby
2218623 tn?1355278513 What cold medicines are safe to take while youre pregnant? Liquid tylenol? EmergenC?
Avatar f tn Hi, I have everything you have so I know how you are suffering. Relafen didn't do anything for my pain, plus it's bad to take any NSAID drug if you have high blood pressure. My cardiologist doesn't want me to take it. Sometimes I do use Advil, but not every day. Tylenol sometimes, but it doesn't do much either. I refuse to take Lyrica because of the weight gain thing. I am already overweight, which is bad for my bp. With my fibro, I get hand pain.
