Can i take augmentin with milk

Common Questions and Answers about Can i take augmentin with milk

augmentin

I've been so confused and bounced around, I just want to make sure I'm on the right track with the Augmentin (which it seems like I am - hopefully!). I have not had any joint swelling or pain of any kind. I don't know why this doctor thinks it's lupus or RA , but she insists it could be these diseases actually causing the infection. Which I also don't understand because I had a root canal procedure that went bad - prior to this I was healthy and normal. Thank you for any info/input!!!
Also, am I right in saying while someone with ars might get hives, it usually is a non itchy faint colored rash? I ask this because I have a Dr. friend who said that with ars you are usually super sick and you have a faint pink rash that doesn't itch or hurt. He said he feels that the only reason that one might get hives with ars would be because they were presenting with something else along with it.Thanks so much, I am just trying to gain info to better understand all of this.
No aspartame, maltodextrin, etc. I can honestly say that it chnaged my life. I still have to take digestive enzymes and occasionally probiotics to balance my intestinal pH balance. I feel amazing though. I would highly recommend anyone do research on Candida, Leaky Gut and elimination diets to see what your body may be reacting too.
It's not painful, but it is rather annoying, and I'd like it to stop. My friends automatically say UTI, and I should drink cranberry juice and take AZO, but with such a sudden onset, and no changes in my regular routine, I'm doubtful. I don't make a habit of holding it..
He thought I had a secondary infection in the uterus and gave me Augmentin to take along with the other I am taking. It has been 36 hours and my breast is still really red and sore. I don't know what to do! I am worried that it may lead to sepsis?? Or should I not be worried since I am taking augmentin? It is the weekend, so I can't call my doc again. I haven't had a recurrence of fever or chills. Was the fever just a symtom of Mastitis? Should I go to the ER and have blood work done?
I should not attempt to gauge this. Check with your doctor, who knows your daughter's condition, about the time frame when you should expect her to be well again. Generally, by the time a course of antibiotics is completed, the child will be well. However, as you are likely aware, illness can deplete a youngster and it can take time to regain their baseline state.
When it's more clear to your doctor that you do in fact have a bacterial sinusitis, your symptoms will be more moderate to severe, and can be treated with antibiotics that are more narrow-spectrum such as amoxicillin as a first choice. Later generation antibiotics that have broader coverage across more kinds of bacteria should be reserved for complicated infections. These are general guidelines, meant to be taken in the whole context of your health history by your doctor.
I have not tested for co infections as I Can't afford it but I hope to cover my back with the possibility of these. Can confections pass over? I have also made an appointment for my baby at breakspear fr when the crd blood test is back in so that maybe I can be advised on a mild treatment to start him on. Do you think think this is a good idea? I'm not a very bright person so I'm finding this all hard to understand but I am doing my best which I hope is enough.
I feel a thickened area which hasn't gone down. Should I be worried? The abscess continues to drain slowly and I have covered it with sterilized gauze. Please help.
One user reported his success with this method to his ENT, who informed him that he has been using this method for 35 years. I went outside to try this method (you can do it inside, on towels) I sat down on the ground, legs bent, knees up. I bent my head back, poured saline into my nostrils, pinched them, and did a reverse sit-up until my back was flat on the ground, and tilted my head back a little further.
If she won't eat it directly, we would mix it in with some milk. Our first DD only drank choc milk, so I got the choc whips yogurt to add to it. Restalyn also was a good diaper rash helper.
NO WAY, here the problem for the last month or so (of and on throughout my life) i have had diarreah (about 6 or 7 times / day) uncontrollabe and mostly liquid. Imodium helps when i can't be near a bathroom and this i can deal with but the constant rumbling (no pain) on my left side even is so loud it keeps my husband up at nite. I have been to the doctor and they say that i am as healthy and fit as a 17 year old. please can anyone relate and how do i stop this problem?
It was months of this awful rash following the use of Augmentin for an ear infection. I was mortified and could not find a cure. I tried everything and i mean everything. I special ordered creams, I sacrificed my real hardwood floors to allow him to run naked and I was at my wits end. We treated him for yeast, we treated him for staph, we went through it all.
The symptoms you have expereienced (breast feeling like they are on fire, shooting pains, and cracks around the nipples) sound like they are symptoms of thrush. I was tod by my doc if we had thrush both my son I had to be treated as the yeast can be transferred back and forth unless both are cured at the same time. So I think you should go back and get anti-fungal treatment for you two. The best resourse for info I found was on Dr. Jack Newman's web site.
IT SOUNDS LIKE YOU AREN'T GETTING ANYWHERE WITH HER PRIMARY DOCTOR, CAN YOU SWITCH DOCTORS? AS FAR AS ANTIBIOTICS GO AND HER WELL BEING I THINK SHE WILL BE OKAY. WHAT DOES THE ENT THINK. CAN YOU TALK TO HIM/HER?
I'm SURE he needs antibiotics. I can not afford a vet. I have some Augmentin, Is that ok to give a cat? I know amoxicillin is, but augmentin is a combination of amox. & something else. I really want to help this cat; i'm afraid he'll die if i don't. What should i do?
Maybe next time be sure to ask for some other type of antibiotic that might agree with you better. Pneumonia can take weeks to get over....just do what you feel you can manage until you are feeling right again.
EBV remains in the body dormant. It can become active again during periods of stress or illness (lyme). It is common to have active EBV when one has lyme due to the immune system being down from the lyme. I will have to read more but I "think" it's the ELISA that can cross react with HIV. the ELISA is not a very specific test and is often false negative. It can be false positive too.
I will repost this over there with some new additional information (just from the last day) and see if I can get any more advice. Thank you once again, I really appreciate you taking the time to read all of that and help me out. Diabetes was for certain checked. I am not certain on the pancreas (I can call and ask tomorrow), however the ultrasound supposedly gave her a clean bill of health on all organs (and was reviewed by a radiologist).
I agree with everybody! Also, consider the possibility of lactose (milk sugar) intolerance--causes diarrhea, cramps, bloating. Try taking LACTASE ENZYME (like "Lactaid") with any milk products, OR, avoid milk products. I totally agree with using PRO-BIOTICS (like Acidophilus &/or Bifidus). Try some from a health food store, with as few additives as possible. I found the FOS (Fructo-oligo-saccharides) irritating to my stomach.
Jacob has an ear infection and was treated at the hospital with iv antibiotics (long story) but I think he still has the ear infection. I have tried giving him amoxicillin but he keeps puking it up. Does julian have any trouble keeping the meds down?
In the last six months I feel as if my muscle weakness and fatigue has gotten progressively worse. I was having to take breaks just to blow dry my hair. I went to my PCP with these complaints, as I felt something was not right. She ran a CBC and basic metabolic panel which came back normal. She said I was not getting enough sleep and always on the go. I also have a good bit of physical and emotional demands as I have an Autistic child. I tried to slow down and get more sleep.
) mixture of carrots, eggplant, peppers and rice with garlic and oregano. A few weeks ago I tried making my own granola with stuff I thought I wasn't allergic to. I was wrong. You have to experiment a bit with recipes is some advice I've tried to follow. But, many days I am just eating separate foods without much flavor. I'm lucky that most of my reactions are not severe. I also have multiple environmental allergies like you do. It's tough girl, I know!
Hello. I must ask you ... the antibiotics you have given ... are they intended for humans or dogs? Some antibiotics can be used on dogs, such as Ampicillin and other penicillin-based antibiotics (which are good for tooth abscesses). However, there are two things you should understand. Firstly, dogs can have some considerable side-effects, including diarrhea, because the drug changes the bacteria population in the gut.
I am also in my 40's and have the same problem as you. I started with a head cold in early May. I finally went to the ENT doctor in Early Aug. (this month). He put me on prednisone, for six days, and a cortisone nose spray. I was afraid to do the prednisone so I started with the nose spray. It did not help actually made the smell more chemical. So then I decided to do the prednisone which helped to flare up a different condition I have. My regular dr. told me to stop taking it immediately.
Also, my back pain level went sky high and I couldn't sleep. I don't know what is wrong with me. I know I have been complaining on here for over a year about being sick. I have had one sinus infection after another. I am going Wednesday to an infectious disease doctor. I'm praying he can give me some answers.
This much I feel I can say from what I just read from you and my experiences is, you haven't found the right individual to treat her yet. Keep trying!
Is there anything else out there that anyone else knows of that I can take or that they have taken that can help for nerve pain...Please help.....
During the course of that time I also made a follow-up appointment with my normal doctor back home (since I'm at college I have a doctor I see here as well), and he gave me some medication of the abdominal pains (for IBS though I don't think I really have that), and some GERD pills to take with the Augmentin* (I know I said amoxicillin above that was a mistake). Anyways, I took everything until I finished the Augmentin and I was alright. I had the CT scan done as I mentioned above too.
And all sorts of other weird sympoms. I had to cancel a vacation because I just don't think I can do hot weather. My igenex lab test came back with a Ton of bands but my more recent has come back with band 41 and 23 and a supposed past infection for babesia. But I guess I'm in Lyme denial and have diagnosed myself with everything as everything mimics each other. Honestly I feel crazy and anxious anymore.
