Can i take ambien with flexeril

Common Questions and Answers about Can i take ambien with flexeril

ambien

I always make sure I can get 7 to 8 hours sleep and never take with any other drug or alcohol. I have never had a bad experience with Ambien and have taken The plain and the CR. All work well for me. I have had Arthritis in my spine the last few weeks and have taken Hydroclone which works well but I feel I need to get off. I have ha dthe prescription filled twice with 20 pills. I started with 2 and then went down to 1 every 6 hours or less or as needed. I will not mix any drugs.
i'm going to start by just taking 40mgs today (20hydro-20 oxy) or less if i can stand it. then go 35, 30, 25, 20, 10 and quit in 6 days. i know it's gonna be rough but i have no choice. i am going to be drinking more than normal which seems to help. have a friend who is going to try to help me. thanks again.
I'm glad that happened. I still take other stuff that I'm suffering with now. I will say the only thing I found with ambien was lack of sleep. That will pass and the best thing to do if you're not already is to walk, run, bike, whatever. The exercise will help you sleep. I still have troubles sleeping and found melatonin a big help. Yes, it does work. It may not the first few days because your body is used to the ambien. The sleep issue will go away after a few days.
My dr just switched me from Klonopin to Ativan with Vistaril...I also take ambien 10 mg....I have flexeril for leg cramps...but I wanted RLS medicine...if I get a script for requip..and take my ativan, ambien and vistaril...will it ease my withdrawal symptoms?...I have probation in 4 days and am going to get urine testedx this time so I have no choice.......any suggestions...plus if I can go 4 days I would like to quit for good again...somebody help me...
I currently take Methadone 10mg 5 x per day, Oxycodone 30mg up to 8 x per day, Baclofen 10mg 6 x per day, and I also take Cymbalta which I believe helps some with pain. I take Oxybutinin for bladder spasms also. I know this seems like a lot but it's been upped several times since I started taking it all. Most of these are pretty expensive without insurance except for the Methadone which helps a lot and is pretty cheap. You might talk to your doctor about the Methadone for your pain.
I DON'T THINK I CAN TAKE THE WITHDRAWS NOT TO MENTION THEY SAY ITS DANGEROUS TO GO COLD TURKEY, I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO AND I'M NOT SURE IF I CAN TAKE THE PAIN EITHER WHAT DO I DO? I NEED HELP TRYING TO FIGURE THIS OUT.
It is funny that you bring up the women aspect of RA, because I have noticed and not sure if this something other women have found, but the day before, the first and second day of my period my pain and joint stiffness is worse. After the second day I can deal with the pain with the ibuprofen, but those 3 days are unbearable. Hormonal effect?? Again thank you both for your posts.
can i take my oxycotin 60 mg, flexeril 10mg, torodal 30mg, and my ambien 10mg at the same time?
I would say that the pain is likely nowhere near as bad as some of you experience, but with such a long lasting injury I can really sympathize with the members here. At this point, I take 500 mg aspirin or Tylenol or Aleve three to four nights a week, in order to sleep. This is a big improvement over the early years, when nothing helped. Or should I say, when the doctors didn't seem to know what to do for me.
I know it's non-narcotic and have never heard flexeril associated with addiction so I thought it might be okay to ask here. I could be wrong though. I know soma's can be addicting. Thanks Everyone!
so i did not take anymore, perhaps it woud be ok if i tried it again....i also had some Lunesta which i tried but with no good results. i only had a few and since it did not work I di not refill the nprescription plus it's expensive my Ins will only allow me 15 at a time for $45 and they will only give me 15 every 30 days I have taken Lunesta when i ws taking hydro and i slept but wo know if it was the Lunesta or the Hydro........
) I write down EVERYTHING just before going to bed, then I have a clear mind while trying to sleep. During the week, I may take 1/2 of an Ambien maybe one or two nights, or even three nights, to catch up on the sleep I'm not getting normally, hopefully one day I will be able to have a normal sleep without any help. I bought a large notebook, marked it off into 3 sections; medical/pills ( and how I have felt throughout the day); food intake/meals; and daily activities.
Because I may not get the meds until Monday thanks to her, is it going to screw me up? Can I take the peg on Monday, then again next Friday? I've already sent an email to my attending and the medical director there about her and asking to be treated my someone else. Also, is there a way to turn on an escalator really fast? I'd love to watch this chick fall down a flight of stairs, but I don't think one short flight would be enough...
I am in pain every minute of every day but I hate who I have become because of the pills. I am on Oxy IR. I take 16/day. I am quitting CT... I am so scared!! How long with I have the flu like symptoms?
My hepatologist told me it was fine to take one dose with breakfast and the next with lunch. That helped me to sleep. He also was okay with me using medicinal cannabis. I found eating a brownie with my shot helped improve the muscle pain more than anything else. It also helped me sleep. Keep your eye on the goal and remember, you won't feel this way forever. These feelings, the pain and depression will go away, it's only side effects of the meds. Good luck.
so far, with maybe one exception, everyone seems very helpful. I hope I can be of assistance as well with my experience including depression/possibly bipolar, for which I began self medicating as a teen and continued to do so during my four years at Florida State (yes, I did graduate ;).
Can anyone give me any advice on using ambien and flexiril to help me with the insomnia that I have been dealing with? I feel like I'm literally crawling out of my skin at nights and the anxiety is driving me crazy. How long will it take for my regular sleep cycles to return? I had no idea Methadone would be so difficult to cease but I know it will be worth it in the long run. I already feel a clearer mind even though I'n in the midst of the W/Ds. God bless you all.
and yes, if I can get by with benadryl *unisom) I will but some nights even with that I only go to sleep at 3 or 4am and am up by 6:30 with my boys... that is not enough sleep at all and then I'm still groggy. My dr wrote for AMbien CR and the plan for me is to take 1 unisom (not the regular two) give it 2 hrs to work and if it doesn't only then take the ambien, but no later than 11pm that way I can still function with my boys. addict63~ I'm watching myself regarding the norco.
We can force ourselves not to take drugs, we can force ourselves to eat healthy, to excersise, to attend therapy or 12 step meetings...but we cannot force ourselves to get a good nights rest. It is true that you will not die from sleep deprivation, but it will hinder your bodies ability to repair itself in your recovery and sleep loss can wreak havoc with your overall mental health. Insomnia, given sufficient time, can induce anxiety, depression or even mania.
and was sent to a reumotologist, negative sent home with ambien which I had to stop taking because I hilucinated and an antisezuier med which I did not take and an ok (negative if you will) he also mentioned fybromyalga and explained he can no longer treat me if I do not have RA. Then my hands started to hurt, the meat in my thumbs would hurt in a way where I have to massage them and when I say massage I mean as hard as I can for HOURS on end!
Even the neck pain, went from 2 episodes a week to about 1 a month now. Sometimes I take naproxen as well. I have been taking Ambien when I am at the point of crying my eyes out and unable to deal with it. This has been going on for years. A normal for me is taking two. Wake up still in pain, two more. Last time this happened to me, that would not work. I was in the position that I needed the ER but with the snow that hit, I couldn't go.
If you do not fall asleep within 20-30 minutes, go to another room and engage in a quiet, relaxing activity until you feel drowsy. 6.Don’t take sleeping pills regularly. They have side effects and inconsistent benefits, particularly in older adults. 7.Practice relaxation techniques at bedtime including muscular relaxation, mental focusing, and breathing techniques. 8.Take an afternoon nap after a poor night’s sleep 9.
home can I detox at home with herbal or detox drinks or vitamins. I went to treatment 12 years ago, and it did not help and I don't want to go back to an institution. I want to do this at home. Please help me. I only take 3 vicodins, 2 xanas, 2 somas per day. I feel that I use them to keep myself from getting ill. I also take medication for sleep. I am so tired.

I take Zolpidem for sleep every night. I don't take Lyrica but take Gaba, flexeril and Clonazepam. The Zolpidem puts me out very well, but I still wake up with pain throughout the night like you mention. I take the 10 mg with 1mg of Clonazapam. Can you ask him for a anti-anxiety medication to take with the sleeper? Maybe ativan which has a shorter half life (I think---I'm not a doctor)?
