Hope this helps and hope you feel better soon!

Avatar_n_tn i am allergic to so much and the doc and nurses were even like poor child i am only 24 ilight>andilight> ilight>iilight> am so angry, depressed ilight>andilight> so much more... from all of this ilight>iilight> ilight>takeilight> 300mg of ilight>allegrailight>, 3 times a day breathing treatments, tylenol, allergy drops (for those who dont know same as shots) and nothing is helping.

Avatar_n_tn i cannot sleep at night at all, ilight>andilight> ilight>iilight> ilight>canilight> only cat nap during the day between coughing fits. ilight>iilight> have tried everything. ilight>allegrailight>, flonase, claritin, benadryl, sudafed, menthol, peppermint and tea tree oils in infusers, Tussinex, Nyquil, hot and cold liquids, sitting in a steaming hot shower... Nothing has worked so far. My doctor seems baffled, as my lungs are clear but there is obviously a problem somewhere. Does anyone else have issues like these?
Avatar_dr_m_tn When you see your doctor, throat redness ilight>andilight> irritation ilight>andilight> swollen glands are noted, confirming even further that you’re in the middle of a standard upper respiratory infection, or the common cold. Typically, it’ll last anywhere from 3-5 days. A small minority will progress into one of the classic complications of a common cold, such as a bronchitis or sinusitis.
242516_tn?1368227505 With a viral bronchitis, you should avoid antibiotics especially zpacks (Zithromax / azithromycin) which are overprescribed for these symptoms , ilight>andilight> ilight>canilight> lead to side effects ilight>andilight> adverse drug reaction such as rash, antibiotic drug resistance and yeast infections. instead, helpful treatments include cough suppressants, bronchodilators (albuterol inhalers), and antihistamine-decongestants.
Avatar_m_tn it causes me to have spasm coughing and if i cannot control this to 3 or 4 coughs my windpipe closes over making it hard to breath in or out. The last one about 2 years ago stopped me breathing in ilight>andilight> out completely for 10 to 15 seconds ilight>andilight> ilight>iilight> thought i had bought it. The spasm cough causes it all and when it goes away (usually 4 to 5 days) things are relatively normal although a normal cough stays with me for weeks after.
Avatar_m_tn if you have one of the other forms of sinusitis, your doctor ilight>canilight> ilight>takeilight> an x-ray of your head, ilight>andilight> the infection may show up as an opaque area on the x-ray. Of course, you don’t really want to get an x-ray of your head unless you really have to, so it’s better to get a CAT scan of your sinuses, which is the more accurate way to diagnose the specific form of sinusitis that you are suffering from. Sometimes, however, you can have a sinus infection that won’t show up on a CAT scan of your sinuses.
Avatar_m_tn i clear my throat all the time ilight>andilight> cannot talk. ilight>iilight> am off dairy. That didn't work. i'll try anything. ilight>iilight> am not on ilight>allegrailight> ilight>andilight> acid reducer which are not working.
Avatar_f_tn not being able to find a cause. ilight>iilight> have had an allergy test ilight>andilight> ilight>iilight> have high allergy to dust mites. How ilight>canilight> you totally free your home of dust mites! i have used Tea Tree oil in my washing machine for my towels, bed sheets and clothes. i have had a blood test, which was pointless. i'm not sure what else to do.. you forget what it was like to be itch-free! My hives started on my back.. extreme fiery red itch. But recently it hasn't been on my back at all..
Avatar_n_tn im just trying to learn to ilight>takeilight> it when ilight>iilight> REALLY need it ilight>andilight> not cover up the fact ilight>iilight> dont accept this disease ilight>andilight> havnt for 20 years. im 31 and its time to move on i know but its hard. i have it pretty serverly. ive had two wrist fusions my hip worked on and two finger replacements. and all i want to do when i get pain med is to take it all day so i can feel normal and not hurt. Avatar_n_tn i am not a good speller or writer but here goes, i am so glad to know i am not the only one possibly overdosing myself on antihystimins ilight>iilight> too have these sneezing attacks about 2 times a month ilight>iilight> have known allergies ilight>andilight> ilight>takeilight> meds daily with good results usualy symptom free but when an attack comes nothing stops it i cannot function i cant seem to figure out what triggers it and then the next day im warn out.
Avatar_n_tn i am on cipro right now which is definitely not an antibiotic prescribed for sinusitis, ilight>andilight> dealing with some wicked dizzyness. ilight>iilight> am hopeful that this will work ilight>andilight> you ilight>canilight> be assured that i will get a repeat culture after the completion of my course of antibiotics. if the infection is not completely gone, i might need iV antibiotics....i also read that Serratia-caused meningitis is 80% fatal in most cases. can you imagine if for some reason my infection spread to my brain?
436516_tn?1382388265 The advair does not help but i need it anyway for my asthma, and so with rhynocort for my nasal allergies. Zyrtec is what ilight>iilight> ilight>takeilight> for my indoor ilight>andilight> outdoor allergies. ilight>iilight> am done with Claritin ilight>andilight> Alegra which does not help with my allergies. i take vitamins C, Calcium with D, iron, magnesium, and also take Fish oil and garlic pills. Tonight i decided to skip all the pills including vitamins and hopefully the coughing will be less frequent.
Avatar_n_tn Background info (related or not i don't know) i am 35 and male. in my late teens and then again about 26 i had 1-2 year bouts with what i thought was cronic fatigue syndrome, but was never diagnosed. Then when i was about 30. i began to experience a multitude of new symptoms. i wasn't really paying much attention so i really don't know which came first but this is the best i can remember. i used to always sit with my left leg tucked up under my right knee.

Avatar_n_tn it can itch for hours and i'm getting really frustrated because ilight>iilight> am 16 ilight>andilight> when ilight>iilight> am in school, ilight>iilight> ilight>canilight> start to itch ilight>andilight> the itch is making it hard for me to pay attention in school. Also, the bumps and welts appear sometimes without the itching, and before the bumps, welts, and itching begin, the area gets hot.
Avatar_n_tn it most certainly causes an instinctual panic (almost for my very survival!) when it happens, ilight>andilight> the more ilight>iilight> ilight>canilight> remain calm, inhale deeply initially while ilight>iilight> still ilight>canilight>, ilight>iilight> can help myself to lessen the severity and the duration of these attacks. My initial instinct is to run for a glass of water, although i have to remember i can choke on that for real! But, while i can, it seems to calm me a bit.
Avatar_n_tn Anyways i am desperately looking for a solution to this problem because i can not ilight>takeilight> it anymore, ilight>iilight> will post anything ilight>iilight> ilight>canilight> come up with that works. Beleive me ilight>iilight> feel your pain. Has anyone tryed the wax candles?
Avatar_f_tn Eleven months ago i had a titanium alloy dental implant along with a sinus lift and bovine bone graft. The surgery was successful and the implant has since integrated with the bone. One to two months after the surgery i started having cramps in the lower extremities that progressed to constant aching in the feet and knees.
363682_tn?1299492962 i'm sorry, ilight>iilight> forgot to mention this ilight>andilight> ilight>iilight> don't see that ilight>iilight> ilight>canilight> edit my last post. i've NEVER had a hangover in my life. Even the few times i've drank to extreme excess in the past, i felt fine the next morning. it seems that most or all of us note that we either don't drink or only drink one or two. Has anybody tried drinking through the pain and had enough to get "drunk"? i'm wondering if maybe only drinking a couple is our problem, and drinking more than that would be ok?
