Common Questions and Answers about Can i take advil with mucinex

advair

The spasm cough causes it all and when it goes away (usually 4 to 5 days) things are relatively normal although a normal cough stays with me for weeks after. I notice if I catch it early (which means I carry antibiotics with me all the time) it is not as nearly as bad. Doctors have diagnosed this as Asthma, chronic bronchitis, bronchial asthma etc etc. All different specialists seem to have a different prognosis and the recommended pills over the years have not really done any good.
i just had the iud out 1 wk and im really want another baby how long will it take before i can get pregnant .. ?? also i heard lol i think its kinda wierd but if u had sex right the day before or the of ur removal u can get pregnant right away .. so how true u think that is..
I have constant clicking and popping in my ear. Unfortunately, i only have one ear so i need to protect it as much as i can. With the popping and clicking comes constant ringing. I am tired of it and feel that it will eventually diminish my earing. I am always asking people to repeat. I have been to 2 ENT, and no help. Taken Nasonex, claritin, sudafed but no help. Please advice as to what might help???
He ended up prescribing me zythromax antibiotic, over the counter mucinex-D, and another OTC allergy med. This really did nothing that I can recall other than perhaps take away some of my fatigue. A week later, still with the original symptoms, I saw an ENT who cleaned my wax-packed ears out and prescribed me Omnicef antibiotic and OTC afrin which I have been on for 9 days now and have not experienced any improvement.
I’ve been dealing with this for almost eight months at this point. I just do not and can not deal with this anymore. Is there ANYYTHING I can DO?!? Please email me with any suggestions!
if its congestion u can take mucinex
Well it doesn't really bring stuff up from the chest but there is a product on the market OTC now called Mucinex I use it and it helpes with thinning all the mucus both upper and in your chest. You do have do yuk it up and cough hard to get the junk out get right over the sink head down and you will have better luck coughing it out. I use the MucinexDM which helps calm the coughing at night. Good luck and give it a try.
I have noticed if I sleep with my legs spread apart as far apart as I can get them it keeps my legs from hurting when I sleep. I recently had a physical exam my cholesterol is 131, HDL 47, LDL 73, Triglycerides 94, VLDL 19, blood pressure 69 over 120. When I was young I road my bicycle 30+ mile every day. I had not ridden a bike in 30 years I just started riding a bike again and been riding 20 miles every day for 6 months it makes my legs hurt less.
Sorry that you are dealing with this too, I totally know the "off-balance" feeling. When I first got this around new years, it appeared to be a cold with an ear ache feeling. I had dizziness and jitteriness spells to go along with this. I first was told to take Sudafed, and then told to take Mucinex-D. After having bad experiences with those, my doctor gave me Allegra-D.
So the last two days I've had a sore throat and it feels like I could cough something up, but when I cough nothing comes out. I'm just wondering if there is anything I can take that is safe for baby that can help with whatever it is that I have? Idk if its strep...it kind of hurts to swallow but its not too bad. I'm really hoping it's just a chest cold. But any suggestions on things that are safe to take?
I woke up to go to work on Saturday and had a bit of a sore throat in the morning I didn't think much of it but my head hurt too so I took an advil and went ahead with my day. Once I got off work I was really tired so I took a short nap and when I got up my sore throat was worse. Since then I've had a small fever and threw up one time. Durring that time I was dizzy and had chills but my face was all hot. Most of that went away, however it is now Monday evening and my throat still hurts.

I don't have any answers for you, but you may want to call your local pharmacy and ask to speak with a pharmacist and I would also consider scheduling a doctor's appointment for your daughter with her PCP. Good Luck !
Hi...sorry I can not help u as I am not familiar with the meds or their "testbook" side effects. Please keep in mind, everyone is different and u can have symptoms that r not listed. See ur PCP and ask if the meds can be causing the symptoms or if something else is the root of ur GERD. I would also imagine that it depends where ur hiatial hernia is located....mine causes me to hiccup....but I am not sure if there is nething else.
what medicine can i take for nasel blocked and a nasty cough while i'm on warfine tablets
Ive had every heart test going and everything comes back normal, I think I can cope with everything else, just not the missed beats. I just wondered what other people experience when they have missed beats, what symptoms do you get, if any.
You're in the right place if you want off the Tramadol! You can do it! I believe in you!
A small minority will progress into one of the classic complications of a common cold, such as a bronchitis or sinusitis. Any time I see patients in the office that come in with any of these classic symptoms or one of the more severe complications such as sinusitis, I always ask about the few days or weeks prior to the onset of the throat symptoms.
When it's more clear to your doctor that you do in fact have a bacterial sinusitis, your symptoms will be more moderate to severe, and can be treated with antibiotics that are more narrow-spectrum such as amoxicillin as a first choice. Later generation antibiotics that have broader coverage across more kinds of bacteria should be reserved for complicated infections. These are general guidelines, meant to be taken in the whole context of your health history by your doctor.
I'm a smoker, trying to quit, I don't typically have this kind of pain. My nose hurts when I blow it, and also when I breathe in. It feels like sinus pressure, that could be relieved if a hole was drilled into my skull. Any suggestions on how to rid this?? Thanks.
Last I saw the doctor he told me to take a decongestant as well. Mucinex didn't help so I went back to my favorite Advil Cold and Sinus:) MMMMMM what a great drug! The congestion is better but there is still so much blood!
Just wondering if anyone else was experiencing same symptoms. I am going insane trying to deal with this!
Have u been diagnosed with migraines? Sounds as if u need to try a few prescription migraine medications. I take Maxalt Mlt for my most severe headaches.
One user reported his success with this method to his ENT, who informed him that he has been using this method for 35 years. I went outside to try this method (you can do it inside, on towels) I sat down on the ground, legs bent, knees up. I bent my head back, poured saline into my nostrils, pinched them, and did a reverse sit-up until my back was flat on the ground, and tilted my head back a little further.
Eventually I was only waking up with mild congestion which would clear up once I sneezed several times in the morning but then my nose and sinuses would be really dry. One day I had severe eye pain in my left eye. I took Advil which helped but I also went to Urgent care and was told that it was a migraine. On Easter Sunday, I woke up with blurred vision in my left eye only which scared the bejeebers out of me (I was ok with glasses on).
I have done A LOT of research though, and truly believe this is what is wrong with me. I have constant pain, and numbness and what feels like swelling, too. I take Tylenol like it's candy (which I'm sure can't be healthy). I tried Advil and Aspirin and neither of them helped me at all. The Tylenol isn't even doing what it used to. I'm wondering if anyone here has found an OTC that REALLY works. I also don't like all of the side effects of Rx meds either.
She didn't see any fluid or blockage in my ear, but recommended I add Mucinex-D for treatment. I did and 8 hours after I saw her, my hearing returned. I have since had two more optical migraines during the last week, and once again experienced partial hearing loss starting Friday morning. So you see, I am beginning to wonder if this is related to the migraines instead of congestion. I have never seen a specialists for my migraines because they have not been painful.
I didn't wake up with the sore throat this morning. I'm not sure what I should be afraid of. If I take the zinc, I still have MS. If I don't take it. I still have MS. I'm just trying to stay well enough to not go into a flare especially since I am just coming out of one.
Just a comment about the drugs, if what you have said about the side effects is true, I'll trade you those for what I went through with my med.'s with heart by-pass surgery! You and I both can hear our hearts beating, When I took my drugs for blood pressure and, if I remember right, ace inhibitor, the beating became slower and softer right up to the point where the heart beat disappeared.
Id have this cough that would wake me all thru the night, and I cant deal with this anymore. Im a smoker so I know its a great time to quit but I wont right now. Im on prednisone (tomorrows my last dose) so far, no go. Im also using an inhaler, so far, again, nothing......
