I had sex while i wasn’t on the NuvaRing but he said he pulled out. I put the NuvaRing in the week I usually get my period so i know I’d go a month without my period. i’m having cramps like period cramps now. Could that be signs of a pregnancy or is that okay?

ve read that sperm can live inside you for up to 5 days, so should I put in a Nuvaring afterward? Like the day after I take Plan B. How long is Plan B effective for?

I am currently using nuvaring as my contraception. I had unprotected sex on my off week. I put my new ring in right on time (about 4 days after having unprotected sex), but I accidentally took it out and threw it away a week early. So, I was wondering if its possible to get pregnant even though I had sex during my period week and put the new ring in on time?

to the point were my boyfriend loses his erection anytime we try and have sex. Can i take the nuvaring out to have sex then put it back in after and still be protected. Two different pharmacist, and a few people who have used the nuvaring in the past have said yes but my Dr. said no. I don't really know who to believe.

I took out the NuvaRing on May 6th but did not have my period. So I put it back in 7 days later. On the 7th day I noticed around my nipples were sore and still to this day they are still sore. So is there a chance I could be pregnant or could his be due to the NuvaRing?

After having nuvaring in for almost three weeks i started to bleed lite not spotting and its dark and not a pleasant smell at all never have had an Oder like that in 46 years and i cant stand it.Also I had very painful cramps only on left side. I was told not to leave nuvaring out for week that I should replace with new one as soon as other one was removed, so i did and i had severe cramping and kept bleeding the dark smelly blood again not spotting lite bleeding.

I took the ring i had in out, and went back to work for four hours until i could pick up my new nuvaring at the pharmacy after work. I woke up the next morning and now there is no blood, so i must not be having a period. BUT it does seem that alot more people get pregnant on the nuvaring. Like I said I NEVER take it out besides the one week. And put it back in at close to the same time of day that I took it out. And I do know I had it back in more then 7 days before my boyfriend came home from out of town. Guess I just have to wait and see. I have my yearly on Sept 2nd. Hey everyone I stopped my nuvaring around early March! My cycles are finally back on track.. or so I thought. My cycles are 31 days 9 days long. My last period started on May 18th. Making tonight my 33rd day almost 34th. I've taken a few test and all were negative. No change in diet or excercise. I've been nauseous, extremely tired, heart burn, and frequent urination. The only time I bleed is when I'm straining to have a BM... I'm so confused anf lost!!!

A few months ago I had a light period for 1 day, it stopped and 24 hours later started again. The next month I had a light 3 day period. This month I am late. I am suposed to put the ring in tonight but I havent started by period yet. I took a home pregnancy test todag and it was negative. Can the Nuvaring stop periods even when I take it out for a week? You started Nuvaring, it can take a few days for your period to start especially when your on yo ur first mornth of Nuvaring. It takes 3 months for your body to regulate hormones. Now if you had unprotected sex within the first week of being on nuvaring (if you hadn't been on another birth control method before) then it's possible to get pregnant. I was on Nuvaring for 3 months and had no issues with it.

Well my period stopped march 2nd and on march 3rd my husband and I had intercourse with no condom just not thinking. But then on the 4th I put a new nuvaring and I took it out on March 25th. But then I didnt get a period on March 29th I had a couple of really light brown spots and then nothing else.

It is supposed to stay inside with your vagina muscles, but I find myself always having to push it back in. I have a history of ovarian cysts, that is why i was put on NuvaRing. I have my yearly check up next month, i was just wondering if i should go in now to get checked out, just worried and uncomfortable. I dread having periods adn now I want to switch my birth control. I'm on the NuvaRing and as it is quite a new thing, my doctor doesn't know it, I find that the instruction booklet and the website both give only very basic information about how it works and it doesn't help me at all when something unusual occurs.

I was on nuvaring for 2 years. In for 21 days. Out for 7. Never ever ever had sex during the 7 out. New one in for 21 days. I was very careful. And then march I took it out and nothing happened. So to rule it out before calling the doctor I took a test. Sure enough I'm pregnant. So if I can get pregnant aftrr being so carefull I wouldnt rule it out for you. Wait about 2 weeks and test. Or call your doctor and ask for guidance. There is always plan b if you in the time frame for it to work.

Im on the NuvaRing..and i never use to smell like fish but now that im using it i smell....can any one help me is this normal..??

I think it should be fine in the resealable foil bag. Put it back in that and you should be good.

i was on the nuvaring but put it in a day late and took it out last tuesday on may 5th and usually get my period on the friday following. Friday came and went, saturday came and went and DH and i DTD on Sunday i had very slight spotting like twice when i went to the bathroom i wiped and that was it. Took a digital pregnancy test on tuesday and wednesday and said not pregnant and then went for a beta test and they told me negative!
