Avatar f tn Hello~Absolutely, food allergies can make it almost impossible to loose weight. Here is a link to a site that explains all about it. Here are a few sentences from it: Do you have urges for a particular food and find it hard to satisfy your craving unless you eat that particular food? If the answer is "yes" to either of these questions, then you have a food allergy. If you are also fat, then chances are your food allergy is making you fat.
Avatar f tn Hello~You very well could have both food allergies and environmental allergies. I would make an appointment with you doctor and ask for some allergy tests. Another issue that comes to mind is Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, it can cause these symptoms as well. I believe there are blood tests for that as well.
Avatar n tn If you even think it is a tick take a photo just in case. The doctors will never believe you if you don't show them the rash. Is it large or very small like 1 inch? Even if you show the rash to this doctor take a photo in case you need to show it to another doc. Can you show me the photo of the ring on your leg? You can attach a photo on here. If you can't you can post it to your profile and let me know when it is there and I will take a look.

Avatar n tn I am 31 and suffer from migraines. My daughter is almost 12 and she has them too. I know that the doctors told her that since she got them when she was young there is a good chance that she will out grow them. So that is something to look forward to. If over the counter meds are not working maybe you should see your doc for migraine medication. I put it off for a long time before I did. Once you find what works it will really make a difference.
Avatar n tn Check with your local pharmacy to see if they carry it. If not, you can go online to buy it. Burtsbees.com. They make a couple of different kinds.
Avatar m tn OK, my computer decided to post for me. Sheesh... It's up to us to change our outlook on life - not the people in our lives. It's our responsibility to reach out to others, pick up the phone, see what's going on with them, and insert ourselves into life again. Sure, we can't do what we used to do, but we're not dead yet! I had to explain to people that part of my pain management therapy was distraction and learning not to focus on it all the time.
Avatar m tn Going to a doctor and figuring out what you need to get you feel better is the first step for you. Counseling and/or antidepressants can make a huge difference in how you feel. Once you're feeling more confident and happy, you can start working on the things in your life that you want to change. Start looking into what kind of career you're interested in. Even with health problems, you could probably work.
Avatar m tn t think allergies CAUSE anxiety per say... but allergy symptoms can cause YOU to cause ANXIETY... if you are WORRIED about the symptoms... I tend to be a SYMPTOM worrier... I have eye floaters bad... and somedays they are fine... and not noticeable.... some days they are floating everywhere... and it freaks me out... and i just think the worse. That's anxiety. "Thinking the worse"... causing other symptoms... Good luck to ya. =) Try not to worry too much.
Avatar f tn My next step is to follow an elimination diet for food allergies. I have a couple allergies and am aware that they can present in odd ways, so I figure it's harmless to take a look from that angle. Can anyone here give me other ideas or questions I can ask my doctor? My GP isn't bad, but I'm pretty sure he has run out of ideas and I'm going to start getting brushed off.
Avatar m tn Your body can become allergy laden and you may have symptoms from something that you are allergic to one day and not another.Summer worse than fall etc. Why? Because the more your body becomes burdened with multiple allergies(food, mold, dust) whatever.... the more symptomatic you will be. Be careful sometimes you can have more severe reactions at one time than another....or every time you are exposed your reaction can be more severe.
151928 tn?1275707337 I was on prometrium suppositories for my first iui and nausea is one of the listed side effects. I suffered from it starting 2-3 days after my first dose. It can also make you tired, dizzy, cramps, bloating, worry, irritability, headache and sore bbs. Unfortunately some of those are also symptoms of pms and possible early sign of pregnancy. It really messes with your head as you get close to the end of your ttw and you are trying to guess where your symptoms are coming from.
