Anyone have an increase in high blood pressure & heart palpitations while taking Buspirone for anxiety? I am 41 & female. I have genetic high blood pressure and take Bystolic for it. I have taken a low dose of Buspirone on and off the past few years. My doctor increased my dose a few months ago (I take 15 mg twice a day) and I feel like sometimes my heart palpitates and night. The palpitations are waking me up some nights. My BP also seems to be spiking on and off the last couple months.

----I stabilized completely last summer and I was on the brand name version of the medication. When I switched over to the generic, I started having problems and had to increased the dose from 900mgs to 1600mgs over the space of a few months. Any changes in the dosages over this time dropped me into a deep depression and I HAD to drop the dosage many times because it was agitating me. I just assumed it was because I was adjusting to the medication.

While reading I began to suspect the female cycle, then checking your profile I see you are a male, so that is out. Perhaps there is a Beta Blocker or a Calcium Channel Blocker that will help that has tolerable side effects. I do not know the brand "Bystolic", I take generic Metoprolol myself, very inexpensive too. I take 25 mg twice a day, normal release medication. The side effects that were the most troubling to me, dizziness, passed after taking the medication for a few weeks.

I am taking the generic of Diovan 160 mg. I was thinking of trying bystolic, but I have heard that it was expensive.

i am currently taking 1mg xanax 3 times a day i go to walgreens and they have the generic brand purepac and i have heard that greenstone brand is so much better i was just wondering if anyone had any feed back .......

Your pharmacist will tell you which generic brand your taking. As far as I know only malikroft is allowed to make the generic form of oxycontin. When you get a generic your RX bottle will list the name brand and the generic name under it.

I was put on Bystolic about 4 months ago when Benicar did not effectively control my B/P and occasional PVC's. Since that time I have experienced increasingly severe chronic pain primarily in my right shoulder area (altho some in my left also) extending into the Trapezius and Bicep muscles. It is so severe that when I roll onto my side during the night it will awaken me in pain.

I have started having stomach problems and acid reflux lately. Can the Bystolic be causing this? What would be other good choices?

I have insurance and the copay on my generic script is usually about $2-4 for the whole month and the brand name was over $200 WITH insurance. Does anyone know of an insurance plan that covers these brand drugs to an affordable rate or any way to get a lower price on the brand name?

ve been taking the generic for about a week until my new prescription for the brand name arrives. I have had diarrhea for two days. The only thing I've done differently is take the generic drug. Do you think this would be causing the diarrhea? If so should I just not take the medication until the correct prescription arrives?

t know whether to take the generic or name brand. Ive been taken the generic(clomiphene citrate) for the past two cycles with no luck.. Dr said he would rather me be on the brand name. Is anyone out there taking Teva's version of Nexium? I'm to the point now where I can't get the brand. I was astonished to see that this generic version's co-pay through my insurance is so high! $80 for 90 days. I could understand this price for the brand, but for generic? I started out on 50mcg generic levo. My doctor wrote levothyroxine and didn't specify a brand on the rx.
