Avatar n tn What are the best nappies to buy for newborns in the UK??? Today I was recommended aldis nappies?
Avatar f tn I don't usually write in to any site, I've always felt that my mountains should remain private. I am very spiritual and I find a deep meaning from every situation that life brings to me and I have to say that this one has been tough already and this is only the beginning. I am on my second day of no Tramadol - actually, I am into just 6 hours of the second day and if I could only get this train that just keeps circling the inside of my skull to quiet down, I would feel so much better.
Avatar f tn They are hell to come of off Many many people on this site are addicted to them .Put tramadol in the search bar on this site and see what you find. I am gald to hear you have desised to taper off the oxys it will be rough but life really is better clean .
Avatar m tn i started taking tramadol about 2 years ago for pain, and now if i run out i get really bad withdrawels, its like having the flu but a hundred times worse, i know i am addicted, i need too know if there would be a rehab for tramadol addiction in uk? im not sure if there will be as its not heroin or any other drug like that, its just a pain killer, if there was a rehab place for it then would i have too stay there for a few days or would they just tell me to cut down slowly?
Avatar f tn but I have found that to be SO common among people in opiate w/d. Tramadol is a tough one too, because of the anti-depressant properties it has. You are essentially withdrawing from 2 meds - an opiate AND an anti-depressant (double the fun.....:( You may want to try some magnesium tablets (my doctor suggested 1000 mg. for me, taken at night before bed, some potassium (banana's are a good source), and/or you could try Melatonin - it is a natural sleep aid.
1830782 tn?1318496076 Unfortunately in the uk we can get very little over the counter at the pharmacy. I have been given some anti-sickness pills and at the moment they are helping a little. I am still in pain from my knee replacement and at the moment I am having second thoughts about having the other one done! My GP is thinking of weaning me off the Tramadol and then replacing it with another drug....
Avatar n tn Tramadol was my DOC. tyl pm helped me with the sleep. icy hot and biofreeze on the legs helped with the RLS thing. I've read wrapping your legs in ace bandages but I never tried it. It gets better. The thomas recipe in the health pages was a huge help too. Eat lots of bananas too. 5 days is great, you're almost there.
3114635 tn?1354636142 Hey, i know its normal in the USA and places but ice never known any one in the UK to have a baby shower. Now i would really like one with both our familes. Soo has anyone on here from the uk and had a babu shower or plan to have one? If so how many weeks are you doing it at?
Avatar f tn Hi thr all uk mommys so tell me whats the best thing u bought in sale for ur baby and from where??!
Avatar f tn Hi there, It's wierd we call it paracetamol instead of acetaminphen here in the UK... but that is where the "cet" bit comes from. However, tamadol the "trama" part, is very addictive and highly narcotic, so much so that I won't allow it in my establishment. I'm a pharmacy tech and I run the pharmacy department at a prison here in the UK and I'm very surprised at what your pharmacist said to you!! Tramacet has 37.
544292 tn?1268882668 s not the most alarming part of Tramadol in my case. In my case the antidepressant that they tacked on to the cocktail is the thing that causes all the rough psychological and mental symptoms. It's a Two Fer One! I've been feeling like I was going crazy for a long time. And in addition to that; the scary suicidal ideation. The suicidal ideation vanished and returns ONLY if I get a flare up of withdrawal symptoms. That happens if I get over stressed. So i need some coping mechanisms.
Avatar m tn Tramadol does not work in the same way as conventional opioids and binds to the pain receptors slightlt differently. Although it works well for many people, for some, like you and also myself, it does not address pain adequately. I do take tramadol sometimes but only in conjuntion with other opiates, as on its own it does not work for me. We all have different physiologies and responses to pain, and tramadol is not for everyone.
Avatar f tn are hydrocodin, percocet, roxicodone and tramadol in the same ingredients family meaning if i took a vicodin i should be okay to take a roxicodone or tramadol because they have some of the same ingredients in them thanks for the time to whoever answers the post
Avatar f tn Hi, I'm trying to buy a oraquick HIV test in Spain but the pharmacy here have never heard of it. does anyone know where I go to get it in either Spain or the UK?
Avatar f tn Where stocks newborn and 0-3 month winter clothes in summer?? I'm due in Nov / Dec and want to buy when I find out what I'm having but it will be all summer stock in shops. I'm too excited to wait till winter stock comes in! Any ideas or do most shops stock it for people who will be having new babys??
1557928 tn?1304810663 Tonight I have just got back from the hospital because girlfriend was pretty darn ill. She has had this pain in her arm for months now, so I suggested for her to buy some tramadol for it. 30 thai baht for 10, which is just under a dollar. She took 2 yesterday and was fine, she took 2 more today and she vomited everywhere. Then she basically went unconscious and could not talk for a while. I was opening her eye lids, shining lights into her eyes with little response.
Avatar n tn I get all my DHC online from the UK, and there are many times in which I run out and take tramadol to mask the withdrawal. I used to get a great high off tramadol (at the time better than any other opiate high) but now it simply keeps physical withdrawal at bay. However, I go through a pretty big depression and will lay in bed for days until my refill comes in the mail.
Avatar f tn t have any problems with the combination of drugs. Actually the Tramadol has really helped my mood ( I think because of the snri). So I have started to taper off the Effexor. I was on 150, now taking 75 mg and will be starting 37.5 very other day for the next month. I hope this info helps you make a decision. Just remember every one experiences drug side effects differently. Take care, Sue.

Avatar f tn Most of us are in the U.S. and would not be able to answer your question, as we don't know the rules surrounding your NHS. You should check with your local authorities. Or you could check with another clinic to see. We do find that the NHS does not, often, allow for adequate thyroid testing/treatment, and many of our members do have to go private in order to get adequate care. Do you know the exact TSH level? Some doctors refuse to begin treatment until TSH is quite high.
468452 tn?1225964888 My question is, is this drug only prescibed in the US? I myself had never heard of it here in the UK. Does anybody know if it perhaps has another name here in the UK or do we just not use the drug? I currently take Diazapam or Ativan for extreme attacks but it would be nice to have something to take on a regular basis that does the same thing but without the same addictive qualities and to perhaps stop me from getting myself into a state in the first place? Does anyone know about this???
4020799 tn?1355825570 I'm having one. I'm in Australia. We aren't telling anyone the sex of the baby until the shower so my partners mum has done the pink and blue theme. We have games, a bbq lunch and desert. They have a pool, and stuff so being summer here should be good. But I'm not doing the girlie shower it's a moved family one.
1421489 tn?1285525635 Thanks for your comments - it seems that with NICE and reduction in benefits, MS-ers are having a bad time of it in the UK at the moment (disclaimer: only in comparison with the prior UK situation, not in comparison to the US...) Is anyone out there in the UK and on DMDs? If so, did the neuro prescribe them as a matter of course, or did it take a while?
