burning tongue and kidney

I have been having problems with a burning/tingling sensation on my tongue. My tongue also develops a sore. Strips of my tongue are missing (3 times now). In addition, my tongue also gets swollen making it hard to talk. I don't know if it is related or not but I also get headaches every evening. My tongue feels better in the morning when I wake up and gets progessively worse throughout the day.

Seems unlikely although it is odd that the burning sensation occurs only after a dental cleaning and not anything else. Have you asked your dentist at all? Perhaps you're allergic to something that is used during dental cleanings? Does your symptoms appear at any other time?

My GP recommended B-12 and Zinc vitamins, tested me for diabetes which was negative. Regardless of regimen, no relief and burning tongue continues. Then, a month ago, recurrent headaches began along with the continuing burning tongue, the discomfort is at the base of head with pain in neck and shoulders. Headache discomfort usually comes in morning and/or evening. Relieved with ibuprofen and Xanax and/or therapeutic chiropractic massage.

my tongue is like white and like patchy with red little spots/pimples at the back and it like stings/burning sensation? can a doctor check it?

I recently got a mouth swat test for HIV which came back negative but I am still worried that I might have hiv as my tongue is still white and still burning. Is there still a risk that I could have hiv?

On top of the tongue burning feeling, I'm having horrible times with swallowing and with chewing (stiff, spastic jaw) so the combo of all of the above makes it a challenge for trying to EAT!

I started getting worried and looked at my tongue and I have some bumps around the center of it. It has started burning again and so has the roof of my mouth. I can't believe I was that stupid again. So I'm worried I have hpv and can't find any good pictures of oral hpv to see if that is what I have. I wish I could post picture here so you could seewhat I was talking about there are about 15 bumps in the center of my tongue.
