JUST STARTED TO TAKE BUPROPION SR 150MG TO STOP SMOKING AND IT HAS MADE ME FEEL DIZZY ALL DAY. WILL THIS GO AWAY THE MORE I TAKE IT? OR WILL I FEEL LIKE THIS EVERYDAY?

Hi I quit smoking 6 weeks ago. I had smoked for 9 years (yes i was a young starter) When I tried to quit before I found it really difficult coz it felt like I was missing out on something (if that makes sense?) then a friend told me about this book called Allen Carr's Easy Way to Stop Smoking: Be a Happy Non-smoker for the Rest of Your Life. I read it and that really helped me. Its hard to explian but if you read it with an open mind it will work.

I'm going to be perscribed Bupropion (Wellbutrin, Zyban) for ADHD and depression. I smoke pot averagely every day, and I don't know if I should start taking this drug if it is dangerous for me when combining pot and bupropion. I think they are trying every way to keep one from smoking, and that's good. It is also used to stop smoking. I quit smoking its very hard. My logic says if this drug aka wellbutrin can help with that habit it aught to be really good against hydrocodone.

t like the bupropion as much as Zoloft but had to stop it bc I ate so much on the Zoloft. Is there anything someone could recommend to make me loose weight along with taking Zoloft?

Hi I have ringing, I thought that it was from all the loud music I used to listen to when I was younger. I take bupropion, celexa, trazadone, prilocex, albuteral, flomax, vitamines, b12(shots every 2 weeks), b6, iron and sometimes asprin. I have seen my reg doc and ENT lately.

I have never used wellbutrin for weight loss, but I was given a script for it once to help stop smoking. I took it for about 3 months; it didn't help me stop smoking, nor did it help me lose weight. You would need to talk to your doctor about getting off it safely.

I called my doctor and they told me to stop taking it and to come in on my appointment and he would change me to some thing else. My appointment is on March 19th 2013. I am still suffering from these side effects from that medicine, I stopped taking it 2 days ago.

If you can't stop smoking you may need to talk to your treating doctor about possibly trying a different medication that may help more with your ADD. There may be other solutions if you cant give up smoking, like so many of us have been unable to, it doesnt mean you dont deserve medical care just because you smoke! I myself have mostly given up on trying to quit smoking, so I just try to plan my life around it and make any changes to other treatments as needed.

Hello Maggy - Is there one pill to help with all three of your problems? Well, your doctor doesn't seem to think so. You didn't mention what you're 3 problems are .. At one point I was on both Effexor and Abilify, then my doctor took me off the Effexor. I have done fine on Abilify alone - but that is me. Did your doctor put you on all 3 of these meds at once - or at different times, in response to symptoms you were having? I would speak with your M.D.

Well if your thoughts went away, then yeah, I would say Bupropion could have done this. To me, SSRIs and SNRIs seem to be related, and I am prone to dark and odd thoughts on SSRIs. I avoid drug classes like these, because they only worsen my depression from the dark thoughts. I'm pretty sure there are other classes you can take that your brain will be compatible with.

My husband has tried to quit so many times, One Step at a Time filters, Nicorette, Smoke Enders, Bupropion, Welbutrin, etc. He is the sweetest person until he tries to quit, and then he starts having anxiety attacks. I really feel that the smoking is aggravating this allergy situation. I put in expensive air purifier filters that were custom made for our heating/ aircondtioning system. I had an air purifier too but that didn't seem to help.

The bupropion could be increased to 300mg to help with daytime sleepiness. I don't think the sleepiness is caused by being on fluoxetine rather than Lamictal but it's more likely that you developed a tolerance to bupropion. Any change in your medications and/or dosage must be addressed with a qualified physician.

I want to say there is more nicotine in an e cgis but not certain. Just try to wien yourself off. When my mother in law attemoed to stop smoking I always saw her with an unlit cigarette in her mouth that she would puff on. It seemed to work for her.
