My doctor has decided that Depression is the cause of my anxiety, and has upped my bupropion to 450 mg a day until the tremors and shaking started, then he lowered me back down to 300. Now I have feel angry or like crying all the time. An explotion can come at anytime, but because the depression was better at 450 mg a day he wants to combine atenolol with it to fight the side effects. I don't like the side effects of either one of these drugs.

After reading the article on this site I was alarmed about the possibility of seizures. Was I off the bupropion long enough before starting the nortriptyline for it not to be a risk?

Is anyone getting ringing in the ears from taking Generic Wellbutrin(Bupropion sr ) 150 mg. Here is my situation I have been on amitriptiline 25 mg 4 years then went up to 50 mg for 3 years. I started taking only one 150 mg of bupropion sr this is my 5 day. Can I stop taking the amitriptiline with no withdrawls after only 5 days of Bupropion? or has it not been long enough. I hoping that I can stop the amitriptiline by taking the bupropion sr in place of the amitriptiline.

I am suffering from I believe depression I have problems sleeping this has recently started wierd thoughts and its very disturbing, I feel said and hopeless my doctor put me on Bupropion and I felt better the first day the next day I eel over active different? My husband has been taking Bupropion HSL SR 150mg for a few months and it doesn't seem to be working as well as the Bupropion XL 150mg he was taking for a few years before he was switched because, the pharmacy said, they could not get the Bupropion XL 150mg at that time. I am on 100 mg of bupropion and was feeling a little anxious. Before taking bupropion, when I felt a little anxious my roommate would give me one of his ativan's, but a full 0.5 would make me sleepy…so I cut it down to 0.25 which worked nicely. Bupropion is the generic name for Wellbutrin. Years ago it had some success and I even know a few who quit using it. I would imagine, because it is also an antidepressant it might cause dizziness. I've been on Bupropion for 6 years. I went from 200mgs up to 400. My NPP said it would have the least sexual problems. Well that's not really true. I told her I can't achieve an erection. But flaccid I can ejaculate. I seen my new NPP. She recommended taking Zoloft for my PTSD. Well everything went well, but now it takes me forever to ejaculate. I can masturbate at least 20 minutes and will finally ejaculate. Does anyone have a suggestion as to quicken my time to ejaculate?

Hi my name is Luke and I am 24 years old and an Iraq veteran. I spent 4 years in the marines and have been out for about 3 years but have recently been afflicted with seizures, two in one day actually. This is the first time that I know of that I have ever had this issue so it is a bit alarming. I was put on keppra for the next year but I read on another ptsd related seizure post that for non epileptic seizures such as mine, anti seizure meds are pointless.

I took bupropion for 3 1/2 weeks and developed high blood pressure. I stopped it for 5 days now. Will the blood pressure go back down?
