Is anyone getting ringing in the ears from taking Generic Wellbutrin(Bupropion sr ) 150 mg. Here is my situation I have been on amitriptiline 25 mg 4 years then went up to 50 mg for 3 years. I started taking only one 150 mg of bupropion sr this is my 5 day. Can I stop taking the amitriptiline with no withdrawls after only 5 days of Bupropion? or has it not been long enough. I hoping that I can stop the amitriptiline by taking the bupropion sr in place of the amitriptiline.

I have been taking bupropion XL 300 once a day for about 2 months. I had been getting my prescription filled at our local walgreens. My insurance has "forced" me to go on a mail order drug program. (they wont pay for my prescriptions if i dont which is over $200) I started taking the mail order pharmacies bupropion for about 2 weeks same dosage and name... pills look different though.
when we are off these drugs for a week or longer, and our bodies have already detoxed and begun functioning without it, the possiblity of having an overdose is very high. An overdose from vicodin feels like your throat is closing, your heart beats really fast and it is hard to breath. It is the worst feeling in the world. My experience was light compared to what i heard could have happened from opiate overdose. People end up in comas and can die.
Due to his illness I want to make sure that when I count his pills that he will not take to much. I would like to know if anyone knows what the fatal amount of 10mg Oxycontin would be fatal. Thank you for your help.

All I can tell you is a gram and a half could very easily be an overdose amount. If you had taken that amount any other way besides snorting - you wouldn't be able to get on the computer right now... If you have any respiratory or heart problems though - get medical help and be on the safe side.
If you aren't going to get medical help, the best thing you can do is get as comfortable as possible and try to relax yourself.
My husband has been taking Bupropion HSL SR 150mg for a few months and it doesn't seem to be working as well as the Bupropion XL 150mg he was taking for a few years before he was switched because, the pharmacy said, they could not get the Bupropion XL 150mg at that time. My doctor has decided that Depression is the cause of my anxiety, and has upped my bupropion to 450 mg a day until the tremors and shaking started, then he lowered me back down to 300. Now I have feel angry or like crying all the time. Dopamine is the chemical that allows us to feel ectasy and elation. This may be leading to a certain "masking" of feelings while on your medication(s). Well, that is how I uderstood it anyway.
