Before taking bupropion, when I felt a little anxious my roommate would give me one of his ativan's, but a full 0.5 would make me sleepy…so I cut it down to 0.25 which worked nicely. t have my psychiatrist anymore) has decided to ADD Pristiq to my Wellbutrin, and in 3 months wants to wean me off my klonopin. She seems to really be against the klonopin, she has attempted to take me off that before with Seroquel, but the Seroquel had side affects I didn't like so stopped it, and stayed on the klonopin.
I am concerned about the Pristiq. Is it going to cause sexual side affects?
Hi there...I take Wellbutrin XL (300 mg extended release bupropion) and no I didn't gain weight on it. I have been on differing doses for over 2 years. Also, no loss of sex drive if that is important to you which is a common side effect of most of the other medications used for anxiety.
I've been on klonopin and Zoloft for about a week yeah I looked up the symptoms of globus they sound similar to what I have I currently going to therapy just have my first session last Fri but yeah I'm gonna to the doc to see if I can take klonopin twice a day but at night I'm taking zoloft it's only been a week since I've been on this meds the only symptoms is the globus I have which bothers me all day but I'm learning to cope with it once this globus thing goes away I&#
I was taking Bupropion and Lamictal, and switched to Effexor. I have been on Effxor for three weeks. I have had the worst fatigue I have ever felt. So now I am unsure if it was coming off the Lamictal or if it was the Effexor. I am going to stop the Effexor, but I don't know if I should go back on just the Lamictal, The lamictal When I first started taking it, up to 200 mg worked fairly well.
I guess my question is, is , has this kind of fatigue been know to be a side effect with Effexor?
I have an 18 year old sister who has an anxiety issue. Our mother is bi-polar and is also a drug addict but she is the only one at this point that my sister will talk to her doctors.
t know if I should start taking this drug if it is dangerous for me when combining pot and bupropion. I am 17 and 130 lbs if that would help for anything and am taking a dosage of 150 mg of bupropion. I just want to make sure nothing dangerous will happen if I do smoke, or how much I can smoke, or if there is anything I can do to lower risk of danger like not taking the drug on the days I smoke.
Did you try tapering up slowly to your old dose? Not that trying natural stuff is a bad idea, but it's hard to do correctly and as with anything else takes a lot of work and there's no guarantee it'll work. During my last anxiety episode I lost 12 pounds in 3 weeks and I was down to a weight of 120. That was in May. Now it is October and I have gained some of it back but not all of it, probably about half. I don't think that it is going to make you lose huge amounts of weight but rather it is not going to bloat you and make you gain weight, at least from my experience. Of course eating habits and exercise always play a role as well.
It is not an over dose and I am no doctor. That is the dosage my doctor gave me in fact he wanted me to take 2 150 mg a day. It didn't agree with me so I stopped... the ringing was even louder. I get ringing in my ears from aleve also , just from 1 pill.,I don't even take that anymore either. Anyway the ringing is driving me crazy so I won't be taking any more of this bupropion sr.
I am suffering from I believe depression I have problems sleeping this has recently started wierd thoughts and its very disturbing, I feel said and hopeless my doctor put me on Bupropion and I felt better the first day the next day I eel over active different? My husband has been taking Bupropion HSL SR 150mg for a few months and it doesn't seem to be working as well as the Bupropion XL 150mg he was taking for a few years before he was switched because, the pharmacy said, they could not get the Bupropion XL 150mg at that time. My husband has dementia. He takes the Bupropion in the morning along with his Aricept and Exforge (for blood pressure). He gets drowsy right after taking his pills and I think it may be the Bupropion HSL SR causing this.
I'm currently on 300 bupropion, along with topamax 100 and still have had no weight losse. I just started the 300 bupropion after being on 150 last week and have already had crying spells but this was the week of my period so I was thinking I just could be "emotional". I was prescribed 300 mg xl of bupropion for anxiety that comes from a neurlogical problem in my eyes called Nystagmus. I think side effects of bupropion cause blurred vision and problems with one eye not moving in conjunction with the other which is horrible in addition to Nystagmus. I've lived with this because I was told bupropion is the least likeliest of pills to cause sexual disfunction. Is this true?
