Bumps under skin pelvic

Common Questions and Answers about Bumps under skin pelvic

bump

A few months ago I got a breakout of small, pimple like bumps on my pelvic region, right below my naval. I noticed it occurred right after I shaved that region, which I used an electric razor to do. At first I thought it was just razor burn or something but they still haven't gone away. While they haven't gone away, they haven't gotten any worse either. The bumps are still in the exact same spots as they were and aren't getting any bigger.
Its a hard pea-sized bump under my skin, and can be pushed around a bit. I was thinking it was a cyst, but is it normal for it to develop within 8 hours? I normally have a bit of vaginal discharge, but it seems to have increased the past few days. Any ideas for what it might be? I don't think it is an STD because i havent seen my boyfriend since the summer... so haven't had sex since then ( he has been my only partner).
Hi I have these red bumps that itch LIKE CRAZY all over my skin like at first it started at a few around my belly button but then it started spreading more and more. I went to a doctor and he prescribed me hydrocortisone. It helps stop the itching for about an hour or two but then they start to itch constantly. Currently I have them on my back, my stomach the pelvic area, and all along both arms.
I'm freaking out right now!! Two small bumps under the skin near my left testicle. The small bumps were noticed a few days ago and now the size of a pea& doesn't feel too good when. Touched. I've had similar bumps before (near inner thigh a few months back) but never near my testicles. I was recently tested and tested negative for any kind of std or hiv..I'm trying to build up courage to go to the doctor about but until then any suggestions.?
looked this up, and a lot of the photos i see sound pimple like. These bumps are more like flaps of skin, nothing inside... like the skin is scalloped or like skin tag looking, flat and about 1/16 - 1/8 inch long - but no fluid inside, just flaps of skin. could that still be sebaceous cysts?
hello, i've been sexually active for some time now, and i've recently noticed these random red bumps above my penis. there are no bumps on my testicles or penis, only in the pelvic area above it. picture: http://tinypic.com/r/2afybyp/5 the bumps do not hurt, and two of the lower ones broke out a couple of days ago and looked just like pimples.
So I have about 4 bumps on my pelvic are (the part where the hair grows) and I did shave a lot, but I didn't know how to correctly shave. around a year ago, i stopped shaving, because I found a small bump. But I just ignored it because I thought it will go away on its own. then last year, I was asked to model on this non profit group and i had to shave 'down there' again. The bump is still there, but I just ignored it again.
But the one about six months ago was the worst. Now I have another one. I get razor bumps a lot because I have very sensitive skin. Most people have problems with dull razors but when I change blades is when I have the worst problem. I guess I'm a little backward. : ) But anyway I have another one on the same leg. Right calf (between my ankle and knee very close to my knee). Is it normal for a herpes outbreak to be on the calf of your leg?
They appear to turn into some kind of wart under the skin. White, silvery bumps deep under the skin. It used to happen only on my palms but I've noticed that they are coming up on my fingers, tops of my hands and on my wrist. My two year old baby seems to have "caught" some because the outside palms of his hands are all red, inflamed, and itchy with these little bumps. The look like pinpricks. I don't think it is any skin disorder (ie. eczema, psoriasis).
My husband age 59 has been experiencing burning, prickly itchy skin at random times but mostly during the evening. He has the sensation of pins and needles pricking his skin from the inside out. This mostly occurs on his arms or legs or back, but not concurrently. First it was his legs then it moved to his back and currently the problem is on his arms. The sensation will be symetrical, i.e. both arms. The prickling turns into severe itching with sensations of pin pricking pain.
I experienced some really mild pelvic soreness (groin) on June 19, and a day later I noticed about 2 skin colored bumps surrounded by 3 or 4 smaller ones. They look just like hair bumps I have had in the past, but I've never gotten more than 2 at one time. It is now June 23, they itch barely (or very mildly) and seem to be clearing, do not have whiteheads and have not broken open and there is no sign of a discharge or pus.
On Aug. 29th, I noticed 2 large bumps under the skin near my anus. They were not itching, but were painful only when I pressed on them. On Aug. 31st, I saw a doctor. She wasn't sure what it was, but she took a culture for yeast and did a test for STDs. Both came back negative, BUT the STD test would have been done too soon to detect herpes -- it takes 2-3 months for antibodies to appear in a blood test.
If they are bumps in the vaginal area UNDERNEATH the skin then they could be Bartholin cysts. They're caused when fluid is blocked in the gland either by infection or a physiological problem. The cysts are not caused by diet and you can't get them from others. Also can't be prevented. They're really nothing to be alarmed about (they're actually somewhat common for women) For most part they go away on their own but if they become painful or warm to the touch they are infected.
So I just came back from seeing my OBGYN. Basically, she said everything that you said (and you haven't even seen anything in person!). She said that this is not presenting like a typical herpes outbreak, or even any atypical herpes outbreak that she's seen (which usually involves cuts that do not look like typical lesions). She has never seen a herpes outbreak that presents as a bump under the skin that becomes a large blood-filled blister.
Having read all of the above posts, and also having some of the symptoms myself, (the sore skin with no redness/bumps/lesions) I asked one of the doctors I work with what it was likely to be. I am guessing here, but I would imagine that you have all had chicken pox at some time in your lives?
Since then I have been pretty healthy until recently. About 8 weeks ago I started getting these severe pains in my right side under my rib cage. When I take a deep breath it is like someone is stabbing me. I have no fever and this pain is re-occuring. Some days I am fine, others I can't move. I have been to the emergency room twice. The first time they told me my liver enzymes were real high but there was no sign of pancreatits and they sent me home with pain killers.
The doctor then scheduled an ultra-sound to make sure things were ok. The ultra-sound showed that the knot was under the skin and not on the breast tissue. But back to the point of that story; All of these symptoms started around the time that I was on the antibiotic. The antibiotics I was taking for the knot caused a yeast infection, which is to be expected. While I had the yeast infection my fiance and I had sex and afterwards, he had a red rash and little bumps on the backside of his penis.
I’ve been having issues with my skin for the past 6-9 months or so…. Unfortunately, it is very hard to describe my problem, because it’s not very consistent. But, I will try my best to explain. It started on my pelvic region as a blatant rash. I got the itching to stop by using Cortizone 10, but the rash never completely went away. I kept using a bunch of over the counter stuff on it like Gold bond and Benadryl lotion, but nothing would get rid of it.
Well I have weird bumps under my skin of my arms, and have for the last 5-6 yrs. I dont think that it is cellulite. Can cellulite cause pain? I am 145lbs and I am 5'6. I found that to be so strange the bumps inder my skin on both of my arms.
i dont know if i have a heat rash or jock itch it seems to itch very little but no peeling on the skin and no redness but there is little red bumps above my pelvic area is this heat rash or jock itch?
Okay so i found two bumps near my pelvic region. I have not seen anymore but they itch a lot. I have been having sex but it has been protected sex. The bumps kind of look like pimples. They kind of look like there might be pus in them but im not sure. Its kind of hard to tell. Like I said I can only see two bumps. I have not had problems urinating or bleeding or any other symptom. Any idea what it could be? Just bug bites maybe?
I have sensitive skin and last summer I had unprotected sex with a boy and got tested at a clinic ( a month later) and I had a pelvic exam, I had irritable skin and felt bumps and itched a lot but didn't think anything of it until the examiner at the clinic said "it looked irritated down there". It barely bothered me although it burned when I pee'd when urine hit the irritation I had NO flu like symptoms but I did have yellowish & sometimes white discharge.
The most common location includes the face, neck, under the breasts and under the scrotum. Other areas include skin folds, areas of the body that may rub against clothing, such as the back, chest, and stomach. This can be prevented by avoiding activities that induce sweating, using air conditioning to cool the environment, wearing light clothing and in general, avoiding hot and humid weather. Frequent showering may also help.
But what if it went str8 into my blood stream via the fresh shaved area it was kinda irritated no broken skin or anything just razor bumps u know.
Then about two weeks after I noticed a few skin colored bumps down there I eventually popped them using my thumb nails (in a majority of them I noticed a small white hard clump that would come out and then they would bleed a lot) I became paranoid about it and started picking and trying to pop anything I saw down there.
I remember pinching it or squeezing it.. It started to bleed (very very little), and then I pulled the tiny bit of excess skin off. The reason I did this, is because I recently had a tiny skin tag on my armpit, and I thought it could be a skin tag as well. A little bit after that (within a week or two), it started to come back. It seems a bit larger than I remember but I can't say for sure.
It went away after a week or so. I had been having several instances of weird genital skin stuff, so I was tested for a few STDs--HIV, Syphilis, and Herpes I and II, all of which came back negative. Then, two weeks ago, I got an itchy rash that started on my wrist and then spread to my pelvic area--it was particularly concentrated around the front of my waistline. This rash went away. And then, a week later, I developed itchy, pimple-looking bumps on my chest.
About 4 days after a stinging sensation started just when I started peeing, I have rarely incurred this before, I did also notice about 3 days later about 6 small bumps just under the tip of the penis these bump have remained unchanged and tend to be skin color.... the piece of skin between the tip of the urethra and the bottom of the penis seems to red and irrated. Nether the tip or the bumps are sore to touch, other than some tingling in the legs and pelvic achiness I feel fine..
for quite a few years i have had problems with getting lesions, (only in hot areas, armpits, inner thighs, under breasts, and on front of pelvic area where you typically shave.) now these bumps start as a red blotch, raised and very hard. after a few days it will get softer, and it will start to look purplish. Now if i pop them, i actually get a extremely thick discharge like the consistancy of ketchup (if that makes sense) and it will usually be yellowish/green.
The first two are almost invisible because of color. The one on my bee-hind is under the skin. But it is hard and dark. Not black, but almost. Kind of purple. Is this something I should ask the doctor I am going to see about? I am going to see a gynecological oncologist.
