Hello, These bumps on palm of hand can be due to contact dermatitis or pompholyx. The exact cause is not known and excessive sweating can be one of the reasons. But some triggers like allergic reaction to soaps, detergents, foods, latex, nickel etc may trigger the symptoms. Apply some calamine lotion on the affected area and keep the area well moisturized.
RE: Pitruk's post My symptoms/diagnosis is exactly the same. For 3 years now I've had outbreaks approximately every 4-6 months- always the same. Painfull cluster of blisters on the palm of my hand that never "break" the surface- they hang out under the skin. Red line of death that steadily crawls up my arm until I go for treatment- Valtrex and antibiotics. First intravaneous then oral if I've waited too long. The first 3 or 4 breakouts were a mystery- first diagnosed as Shingles.
They are very tiny and only when i run my finguers over my left palm can i actually feel the uneveness that has been caused due to the bumps. They look like tiny water filled bubbles and are concentrated in the middle and top part of my palm. They do not itch nor do they give out any discharge. They do not change in size or in number. They are pretty fixed and not had any new leisons occuring.

I have this strange bumpy rash on my right hand palm and middle finger. Not sure what it is. It is slightly itchy, same color as my skin, not excreting anything.
I have very small red bumps on the palm of my hand. They don't hurt unless i press on them, and they go away after a while. It's almost as if i have a lot of splinters or something caught under my skin. they don't itch, or crust over, they dont dry up and flake off, they just disappear. I've asked my doctor a couple of times for a referral to a dermatologist, but it's as if he doesn't listen to me.
I do not have any bumps under or on the palm but the center of my palm itches all the time. You would think that the doctors would be able to determine what this is. When it gets really bad I take Benadryl and that seems to calm it down a bit but I do not have any know allergies. I hope someone finds out soon.
this started on the palm of my right hand and it seems little bubbles were forming under the skin. Eventually the bubbles seemed to come to the surface and my skin started peeling. This now is a very large target shaped mark on my palm, and seems to be spreading outwards. It itches sometimes, The skin keeps peeling away from the centre. Now this has spread to my fingers, first one then two, now 5 or 6, and also on the heels of both my hands. I think it is also on the bottom of one foot.
It happened on the right palm only until I had carpal tunnel surgery. Then the left palm started itching - only the palm; no other area of the hand. I talked with someone who said her doctor told her this may be a symptom of carpal tunnel syndrome. My doctor never heard of that symptom. The itching is so bad sometimes I cannot stand it. It is not constant and will not happen all the time.
She will even try to use my nails to scratch it. The palm looks normal, no redness, dryness, bumps or flaking skin. I have seen her wake during the night rubbing her palms together or rubbing her palm on her clothes or sheets. It seems to be just the one hand. She doesn't see her pediatrician until May and kinda feel silly to take her in for this. Any help would be appreciated!
When I woke up this last time, I have two more bumps, this time on my right hand. These are on my palm though, not my fingers. I was just wondering what this is? I read a lot of posts on the forum about these and one of the possible diagnoses was herpetic whitlow. I looked up pictures just to see what it looked like because I've never heard of it, and maybe google only shows extreme cases, but it looks NOTHING like that.
Ok, occasionally I get these white rings under my skin, usually in the palms of my hands or the soles of my feet..they're raised white rings just under the skin that're painful to the touch not like "Oh my god can't take it" pain but annoying constant dull almost burning pain, they usually go away within a day or so but I just wanna know what they are..any ideas?
Ok I am a 20 year old male and a couple of days ago I noticed some red bumps on my palm. Its kind of like they are under the skin and they are sensitive to the touch. I have about 4 or 5 of the red bumps on my hand. I today I noticed a red bump on my penis. I had read online that this disease can cause the bumps on the genitals. I am usure what my concerns should be. I haven't had sex with anyone recently and haven't ever had any symptoms like this.
it sounds like a cyst or bony growth I had one under my foot and one on the palm of my hand ..I read about it, and I massaged it a lot, they both went away ..
Now its Oct 31, the lesion up until a few days ago was very hard to see, it was more just a little pink where it use to be. But I noticed today and felt today one of those little bumps under the skin, practically in the same spot as the first one. I am a 28 year old male with no history of ezcema or psoriasis. I did have follictulis/staph a few years ago, but that went away. So what do you think is on my hand...I made another dermatologist appt, not until nov. 14.
There are small millimeter type bumps that have clear and light brown liquid inside. My hand is generally red and very itchy. I have been taking benadryl the last couple of days and the itchiness goes away for 4 to 6 hours and then is back. I wake up itchy after about 4 hours and take another dose. I went to the doctor about 2 weeks ago and was given a dose of pills to dry up and stop the itching and a cream steriod.
But stacked with these 2 things I also have *only sometimes* these little tiny red dots under my skill, no bumps, you cant feel them, just see them, they look like someone grabbed a ball point pen and put little dots in a small cluster on my hand, the size of a dime or penny maybe. Ive seen it on my right palm under pinky and left palm under pinky *both towards the wrist* and once on my bicep which showed up. The dots wouldnt be there, id get a really bad itch, then they would be there.
I have been getting an itching sensation under my skin on my whole body after I take a bath or a shower lately and I have been putting lotion on and it still itches. I find that I put lotion on the areas that itch over and over to try to relieve the itch. Previously, I have scrached the areas that itched so hard that it has caused sores that I have to put hydrogen peroxide and neosporin on the sores to relieve the pain. I now try not to scratch it and just put lotion on the areas that itch.
I'm 31 and have had small bumps on my left palm and fingers since some time in my early 20s. They are slightly visible when my hand is dry but become puffy and very visible when it has been in water. They do not itch and there is nothing inside them. I can scratch of the tops of them easily and they just appear to be dead skin, but they don't go away. Over the course of several years they have spread to take up about half of my palm and up my fingers.
I have small bumps (a mm in width, uniform and circular) on the tops of my feet, and a couple on the backs of my hands (probably 10 or so on each foot, only 2 on each hand). The bumps are skin colored, and barely raised off the surface. They are easily missed if not feeling for them, or not looking for them. They have been there for years, and they seem to be asymptomatic in the sense that they cause no other problems and I am in perfect health.
I have been treating it with hydrochortisone cream which has helped and after a few days it goes away. However it will reappear. The bumps have begun to spread down my thumb and now is on the palm of my hand just below my thumb. It is appearing on my right pinkie as well. It is not painful nor does it itch, however it is causing slight scarring and it appears very red on my palm.
