Cat scratch then spreading red bumps really sounds like scabies, which is simply a tiny skin mite that secretes proteins that your immune system responds to--thus the rash. It is a sort of itching sensation and then a sensation that there is something crawling under my skin. Eventually heard the truth about Lyme and how HOrrIFICALLY unreliable and pathetic the testing is.... FABulous documentary on how fibromyalgia-chronic fatigue and all those other "syndrome" diagnosis's actually are LYME DISEASE!!!!!!!! It's on Netflix called Under Our skin. It saved my life...
Diagnosis of scabies is made by scraping the skin and viewing the material under a microscope to see the characteristic mite or eggs. The usual treatment of scabies is topical permethrin. It is the most effective scabicidal medication. Usually applied overnight and repeated weekly once for 2-3 weeks. The skin should be cool and dry before applying the anti-scabies medications. Avoid taking hot water baths before as this will cause the medication to be absorbed deeper.

It's not like a rash, there's no redness except when I've scratched, the bumps aren't red, they are skin colored - it just looks like little fever blisters or something. When they break they are just filled w/ clear fluid and stop itching. They seem to itch more when my hands are warm (my hands are ususally cold - I have raynauds) like while I'm watching tv all covered up. Actually it started a few weeks ago w/ my big toe on top.
I have had red bumps mostly on my chest and upper Arms, while they are not itchy, they look like small lumps of blood trapped under the skin, i have had these lumps for at least the last ten years...
There are also large hard bumps deep, under the skin. I finally had time to go to the doctor and I was diagnosed with dishydrosis, which is a component to an autoimmune disorder I have called mixed connective tissue disease, however, you do not have to have MCTD to get it.. They gave me a cream called diplurene (spelling?). It helps A LOT!
Besides for the blister style bumps, I have traditional dry skin eczema on my thighs and back of arms. These are bumps and itchy with major dry patches but without liquid. That problem Eucerin or any fragrance-free, potent, extreme dry skin or itch relief lotion helps. You do have to be diligent in applying often and it helps to apply rIGHT out of the shower so that your body does not dry out and absorbs the moisture while your pores are still open.
) I still had a problem with it in the carpet so I mixed the Bifen in my steam cleaner and ran in and it totally killed them in the carpet. As for my clothes, I didn't want the Bifen near my skin and washing/drying my clothes wasn't killing them, so I bought a deep freezer and did a rotation-- putting my clothes in a week at a time and then keeping them in garbage bags until I got the rest of my house rid of the mites.

About six years ago, I noticed nasty little puckers and crepiness in the crook of my elbow. About six months ago, the skin under my underarm (on the inner side of my arm) started to look saggy. I have an antiaging blog and have used this to document everything logical to be done about this since many of my readers are experiencing the same.
There are no visible bites, but when I scratch my skin becomes even more itchy and very red, and a few swollen bumps here and there. (Mostly near elbows, knees and ankles.) I don't think this could be flea bites, but I am wondering about bed bugs? Either way, I am very itchy and am having a hard time calming the itchiness. Hot showers, Cold Showers, and clear coat nail polish have done nothing but soothe for a few moments. I do not know round-color: #dae8f4'>What to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
The rash went away while I was on Prednisone, but as soon as I was off it came back on my stomach, arms and chest again, mainly on my breasts. It doesn't look like anything, just tiny raised bumps that aren't even really red. But the itching is so terrible, I can't sleep at night and I have itched to the point of bleeding many times, which causes ugly scabs to form. I am getting really tired of it! Any ideas about round-color: #dae8f4'>What it is and how it can be treated? PLEASE?
At the end of the walk I had a rash starting near my ankles and this morning at my treatment, my oncologist was stumped at round-color: #dae8f4'>What he saw. It has spread to the insides/outsides of my ankles and is started raising up the leg a bit. It appears to be like blood vessels that have broken just under the skin according to my doctor, and is a dark red in color. It doesn't itch, but my ankles are a bit sore (though that could be a result of the 60 mile walk.
So I am constantly trying to get the new bumps under control and keep the older, no longer itching red areas, at bay. It is really a pain in the butt. I am usually one big grease bag and mostly just sit around the house in my very loose and lightweight summer nightgown. (Clothing brushing against the rash makes me itch.) My main point in telling you this is to reiterate that the rash can occur at any time and it may not be due to Incivek, but rather to riba. Also, if it appears, do not wait.
1999 I have experienced an intensely itchy rash that started on my ankle, moved up and around my right leg to the knee in June, then also my left leg, thighs, stomach, and arms from the elbows down. It is a bumpy red rash, but at the beginning, my skin itched, then the bumps appeared. At its peak, I itched the second I woke up, especially on my arms, but everyone says it is not scabies. I have seen my gp and two dermatologists who has prescribed: E-mycin, Bactroban, Psorcon-E .
I start to develop these bumps all over now. One right above my arm pit, another in the fold of my thigh near my groin, and another along the inside crease of my elbow, all feel so absolutely amazing to scratch I know it must be wickedly bad.
after all the research I've done, I've found out that yeast can infect the skin if it gets really bad... it does cause small white bumps in the mouth, lips, vagina, and skin, and sometimes fingers and elbows... but can occur anywhere if left untreated. You've been tested for everything, and if you look at pictures of STDs, and they don't match then it's most likely a bad yeast infection which can be extremely hard to get rid of.
I was feeling desperate tonight, my palm is so itchy I feel like I could scratch the skin off. I have been getting these small bumps under the skin for about 3 years now, my palm swells, the skin gets tough or leathery but it is the itch that drives me nuts. I am surprised how many people seem to be getting the same thing. I DO have allergies and have blamed it on that, sometimes it feels like something is crawling just below the skin.
They appear to pop and run down all under my skin.
