Common Questions and Answers about Bumps under nostrils

I've had my little rash under my nostrils for four years. Seems to flare up when I'm stressed, then dries up and gets flaky, but the little red bumps and pinkish patches spreading out from the creases are ever-present. Went to the doc four years ago, was prescribed Metro cream (BIG waste of money ~ never worked), guess I'll try a dermatologist this time. Is it candida? This rash gets pretty bad in the winter months. SO annoying!
My son has bumps under his left armpit. Do you have any idea what this could be? He's had them for about 4 months. They looked like they were going away. But now they look like they are coming back. And, he said that one of the bumps hurt. When he went in for his physical in September we asked the doctor to take a look and she said it was some sort of virus, and that it would go away on its own.
I keep getting these small bumps that can only be felt by my tongue. They are under my tongue in the corners at the base of the gums and on the inside of my "Lower" lip. The worry is that it is some sort of cancer. I was a closet smoker (one pack a week or less) over the years, on and off, and occasionally burned a little reefer. If I put some rubbing alcohol on in it go away like magic but the skin feels a little puckered afterwords, that doesn't bother me.
I am a 34 year old woman. I have had a red dry itchy rash under my nose for 3 months that won't go away. Occasionally, tiny whiteheads will develop. I pop them and they go away but eventually come back in the same place. I've tried putting intense lotion on which helped with the dryness but not with the redness. I've also tried putting antiseptic cream on containing phenol (1.20%), zinc oxide (6.55%), methyl salicylate (3%) and octafonium chloride (0.3%).
overnight, it went from tiny bumps to raised clusters of burning bumps..they keep gettin larger everyday..the bumps look like clear fluid sacs, but im too afraid to pop them considering they constantly burn... ive had similiar ones before, but not this bad, they didnt burn...i thought it was mulluscum contagiosum (which ive had before)..but with further research, mulluscum contagiosum does not cause any sort of pain related symptoms..
I HAVE 2 PATCHES OF RED bumps ONE KinD OF ON MY CHin AND THE OTHER TO THE LEFT UP ABOVE MY MOUTH. ALSO THEY ARE ALL UNDER MY NOSE, RED bumps AND DRIED SKin THAT PEELS..IT ITCHES SOMETIMES AND BURNS IF I PUT ACNE CREAM ON IT. WHAT COULD IT BE AND HOW CAN I GET RID OF IT? THE ONE ON MY CHin HAS BEEN THERE FOR 4 MONTHS OR SO. THE OTHERS JUST POPPED UP.
I got a red raised rash that itched on my inner thighs, it lasted about 2 weeks. Shortly after that I noticed the bumps on my feet then I noticed the bumps went up on my ankles and inner thighs. I went to a dermatologist who gave me some kind of foam in can to rub on it but it didn't work. I noticed that when I get in the pool they swell and are quite visual on my feet and I can really feel them on my thighs.
It is now January and it is still there. There are also, very tiny pimple-like bumps around the nostrils and around his nose. He is 11 and doesn't have pimples or acne. This problem occurred in conjunction with the "healing" process and it is still there! It is vascular, in other words, if you press on it, it turns white. It doesn't itch, has not appeared to spread, does not ooze or show any signs of being an infection.
Also, small pimple-looking bumps have been showing up under my armpits as well. I suffer from excema on my arms and I feel that this may have to do something with it? If not, I haven't been using one constant razor to shave my armpits, I have been using many different ones. This could be the problem as well, so should I refrain from shaving? I have used 1% Hydrocortizone cream and Johnson's Baby Moisturizing Cream on the rash, but this has not had a great effect.

Whenever I shave, the area on my skin is mainly clear with a few red spots on both cheeks (similar to red bumps and without whiteheads). My skin once shaven feels great and I have zero irritation or soreness. So the problems arise when I grow out my beard. The left cheek (in a SPECIFIC area) and the right cheek (in a MIRRORED SPECIFIC area) plus under my chin is sore and constantly in need of an itch. Can someone give me a guess/diagnosis to the problem and some possible cures..
5-2 months after infection, also for sometime i had diareah but that has passed now and im having proper bowel movements, lastly my cheeks have reddend and also just under my nostrils, is there any STI that wouldnt show up on a test that all these symptoms would include, recently my ex told me that the dr.
I was wondering what these are and what they are called. They are highly concentrated on my chin, and on the outer sides of my nostrils. Short ones are also around the corners and top sides of my lips, in the area under my eyes and the top of my cheeks, and in between my eyebrows. I can scrub them out with a hot washcloth. Afterwards, the area is red and they return every 2 days. If I leave them without scrubbing for 10-14 days, thin black hairs begin to appear.
I have itchy, sore, inflamed redness/raised bumps on either side of my nose and under the nostrils. They "crust over" with whitish flakes then start the cycle of redness, etc all over again. This has been going on for about 2 months. I have been researching this online and think it is seborrheic dermatitis. I have been using clotrimazole cream twice daily as suggested on the JUST ANSWER DERMATOLOGY site for 3 days now. My question is: what are the stages of healing of this problem?
It is located on either side of my nostril, beneath my nostrils, and slightly inside one nostril. It consists of many tiny red bumps which are sore and do not itch at all. If left alone the rash will start shedding a tiny amount of dead skin at the top of each bump.
You really need blisters on you lips, under your nostrils etc. to be more certain of a visual diagnosis. 5. A regular doctor should be able to swab the lesions and have them tested, insist if you need to. This is most likely a HSV1 recurrence or not herpetic at all. HSV2 is a very distant possibility.
badly, especially when doing exercise, itches a lot and gets easily aggrivated from tight clothing, and it has small spots around the infected area that look like small bumps. I would really like help with this though as it interferes a lot with the type of sport i do as the skin rubs against skin, and when this happens it makes it especially bad!
burn intensely, and my inner left thigh grew out a carpet of hair follicle bumps in the area closest to the left scrotum. interestingly, my thigh didn't itch. I rubbed the left scrotum because it itched like hell, and it became red, thick, somewhat rough, and shiny compared to the right scrotum, which was softer and smoother. There's a visible difference. The left scrotum looks like it has deeper folds because of the inflammation. There are no pustules on the scrotum.
I'm a 22 year old male, and about two months ago I started to notice that the skin under my mouth was becomming yellow/green. Since then, this has worsened and now it's pretty noticable. Now the sikin to the sides of my nose and underneath my nostrils is this color too. The only medication I'm on is Zestril for BP. Yellowing of the skin is one of the possible side effects listed for zestril, icdicating kidney problems like Jaundice.
My throat has not hurt until resently. Also throughout the summer I would have whitish bumps on my right tonsil. I've been sick now for three weeks and my symptoms are headaches, sore throat, slight cough, pressure in ears, and overall tired-drained feeling. My tonsils don't look bad, but there is a real uncomfortable tightness in my throat. My doctor said it was a sinus infection but wants an ear, nose, and throat doctor to take a look for a second opinion.
It bothers me the most across my pubis, which is where the folliculitis first started. But i also have it on my chest, neck, back, at times under my arms, stomach, and head. I have been to several doctors, had 3 separate biopsies, and still i am having problems with this. I have exhausted a lot of money trying to rid myself of this problem. I have used Brovoxyl washes, Borrow's soaks, vinegar soaks. Antibacterial soaps like Cetaphil and Hibiclens.
tender bumps in the tips of the fingers or toes; rashes that look like splinters under the nailbeds; ulcers that form around the ankle joints or on the legs; and tender red bumps on the shins. Some lesions in people with lupus, such as hives, may be due to inflammation of the small vessels of the skin. Other non-specific lesions include nail bed redness and redness of the palms of the hands. Rarely, blisters due to lupus may be present.
One side of my face was very swolen and puffy and hurt, i had a large painful bump behind each area which hurt to the touch, i had swollen painful bumps down my neck, i counted about 4 or 5 of them, the side of my neck was swollen and puffy as well with my face, i was given amoxicillin trihydrate 500mg/novamoxin 500mg taken for 10 day, All swelling and pain went down, the scalp irritation went away, the bumps are not painful anymore and shrunk 80% in size.
It is supposed to be from reflux. Denise 0202, you mentioned bumps on your elbows and knees. I have bumps, like fatty nodules under my skin on my left upper arm. sometimes they are painful...with no explanation from the doc. I wonder if they are like the ones you get. I will watch if I happen to have dairy, if they make me hurt more. Yes, being dairy free does make me feel better. thanks again for your input.
I forgot to mention that I did develop a bump on the roof of my mouth (the hard palette) and felt bumps on the inside of my lower lip. However, the bumps on the inside of my lower lip have no erupted and I'm unsure if I might've caused them from constantly checking/touching and biting my lips. None of these bumps on the inside of my mouth hurt or burn or itch. Thank you so much again!
They all start out the same way, as the small itchy sore that gradually turn into a large nasty infection (very large painful, pus filled bumps). A culture was taken and the bacteria that's causing the infection was isolated. Unfortunately it is one of the resistant Staph Aureus bacteria that are out there . I was put on a different and stronger antibiotic. I've been on this antibiotic for about twenty days and the infections I had have cleared up and I have not developed any new ones.
After masturbating, the nerves get twitchy all over my body(at any time) for an uncertain duration and reoccur randomly,my skin all over becomes itchy and i get red marks(sometimes followed by bumps),it feels like an insect is crawling under my skin,a liquid is discharged from my nostrils(so called as runny nose),my vocal cord swells up(not intensely but badly affects my voice). I have been masturbating since 4 years(with the problem) - not more than 5 times a week.
Each time, I can see where the bump that had been there is now missing. I still can feel bumps under the skin of my nose, and they feel squishy sometimes, like they're filled with fluid. Other times, they seem firmer, like they're filled with a firmer, almost cheeselike substance (keratin, maybe)? All of this seems like cystlike behavior. Or maybe a nasal polyp? inside my nostrils, I do feel some sort of fleshy growth, and it does seem to go up right underneath the bones and push them up.
