Bumps under my armpit

Common Questions and Answers about Bumps under my armpit

bumps

i got one removed and they just came back everywhere else behind my ears. About last year I started getting them under my arms as well..they're a little more painful under my arms as the skins tight so when im in the shower washing my hair or whatever i do to lift my arms it feels like the skin is being pulled. It'd not a serious thing...the doctor told me a lot of adults get it. So whether or not you want to get it removed is up to you..
I don't know if this is a skin problem or a hair problem. I have red bumps under my armpit. They do not have a white top. They do not secreat anything. They do itch. I think it is due to shaving. Even though I use a shaving cream and have used soap. This just started happening about a month ago that they stayed instead of just going away. Meaning I know what razor burn is and this is what it looks like. However, they are not going away.
my son has bumps under his left armpit. Do you have any idea what this could be? He's had them for about 4 months. They looked like they were going away. But now they look like they are coming back. And, he said that one of the bumps hurt. When he went in for his physical in September we asked the doctor to take a look and she said it was some sort of virus, and that it would go away on its own.
I'm a 16 year old male, and i've had a lump under my armpit for about a month now, and i was wondering if anyone could give me any insight as to what it is. It isn't very big, it doesn't hurt, although it can get a bit tender if i mess with it, it's pretty hard, and seems to be under the skin. I read somewhere that using an antiperspirant can cause bumps like this, and i use Mitchum Unscented roll on. Does anyone know if this has any type of connection?
Hi I get these big red bumps underneath my armpit. They hurt really bad and last for awhile. Eventually I am able to pop them, almost like a boil. Are these boils or is this more serious? They seem to come up on my lymph nodes but when one goes away another comes up almost in the same spot. Please help me!

I have excessive, small bumps under my armpits, which become very sensitive and sometimes red when i shave. They also make me look like i haven't shaved, even if i have. Also, my armpits will itch, especially after i have just shaved. What is this, and is there anyway to make them go away or lessen in size?
I woke up yesterday and noticed pain under my right armpit. I felt my armpit and found hard bumps or lumps and they are pea-sized and painful to the touch. There is about 10 under the right armpit. The skin is slightly red and I also have them under my left armpit, but only about 5 of them. They are painful to the touch as well and slightly itchy. The pain feels prickly and tender and it hurts more when I move my arm.
I was wondering if someone could review the below pictures of under my left armpit as well as two fairly red pimple type objects (link below) under my left armpit and let me know what these are. I have had some issues in the past with a boil under this same armpit. Thank you very much for your help. About a week ago, I woke up and there were some bumps the size of a penny under my armpit, they are alittle puffy and hurt really bad, they don't look like pimples. They are just under my right armpit, Could this be a allergic reaction to the deoderant i use or could it be like a heat rash. I trimmed both my armpits but the left one doesn't have bumps under it, there are about 3 big ones. Any suggestions on what i could use to get rid of it or should i just leave it alone.
I have had, what it seems to be, a rash under my right armpit for about 3 weeks now. I noticed it after I shaved 3 weeks ago and I thought it was "razor burn". I left it alone and did not shave for a week or so and it is still there. They are red bumps that turn into blisters and they itch and burn like crazy. Can you please help me figure out how to get rid of this? I did end up shaving when it looked like it was getting better then 2 days later it came back but worse.
Hello. Recently I developed a singular red spot under my armpit. It doesn't itch or give me problems at all. It is perfectly circular, about a 1/2 inch big all around and flat. At first I thought maybe I got pinched or something, but I don't remember anything pinching me and the area isn't easily obtainable for something to pinch it. It's been there for about 2 weeks now. I'm not sure what it is, and I fear the worst. If you could please help determine what it is, I would be very thankful.
about a week ago I had 2 small pea size bumps under the the right armpit no pain. I tried to pop them thinking they were pimples but they are deep in the tissue. ( no pussing). 2 days ago I woke up with a large lump under my left armpit which is very painful. What should I do? I'm very scared...Could this be Cancer???? I had Ovarian Cancer 18 years ago.
I have had a few bumps under my left armpit for several years. I thaught i was using my deoderant too widely ranged, but i reduced the area that i apply deoderant. It has only gotten worst, and its really starting to itch. I itched it so much over the last week, i now have a scar. my right armpit is fine. Can anyone tell me why these bumps are under my armpit and why its getting worst? And what i can use to heal it?
For the first time in my 44 years of life, i have developed under my left armpit some bumps that are like raised moles and colored blackish purple. They don't itch and I actually almost got rid of them when I washed my armpit with head and shoulders shampoo. After not paying attention to them for about 3 weeks while I recovered from the flu, they were back and had spread even more under my armpit! Could it be fungus, or cancer or what? But, yesterday morning I found out this two bumps under my right armpits only exactly at 14 weeks after exposure. I was freaked. I went to doctor today and he told me that one is pimple and other is staph (something in that nature), he told me that people are getting it everywhere, it's a skin disease. I asked him whether it's lymph node and he said it's not. He said that lymph node would be pea sized, the staph lump was bean sized.
about a week ago I had 2 small pea size bumps under the the right armpit no pain. I am an 18 year old male and yesterday mornig I woke up to find a small bump under my armpit. There are no exterior signs but it can be felt underneth my skin. It doesn't really hurt, when I raise my arm all the way up I feel a little discomfort, sort of if I was strething a tight area, and seems to be going down a bit since yesterday. So, is this something I should worry about? And what could cause such a thing?
I have the zit like pempils all under, just below my armpits, on the sides of my breast, along my stomach just above my waist line, on the insides of my thighs, on my butt, and now some are running down the backs of my legs. They are red, sore, and have a thick, very thick like white pus in them. I have battled this for so long. I prayer every night for them to go away. I know it has been at least 10 years battling this from Doctor to Doctor. Now one ever says anything except hair follicles.
I have big red bumps under my armpit. It started out as a rash, and then a few big bumps formed on my arm. Then weeks later they have doubled. They get red when I sweat or when water hits them. Now it's to the point to where It hurts to lift up my arms and it feels like boiling water hitting them when I take a shower. I'm only 15 years old. Please help me?
All week I've been getting huge painful zit like bumps under my right armpit. I keep getting more. The big one were about 4 of them then they kind of connected into 1 huge one. It's very painful. Are these zits? Or what are they? Please help!!
Yesterday i shaved my armpits and later in the day i noticed a small bump under my right armpit. I am now dead worried and could not sleep even with xanax. Can someone please advice how and why is this bump created. is this dangerous or related to HIV. please help as i am very worried.
Hi there , I have what I think is a rash of some sort under my armpit. It is only on the right arm and the left arm is slightly red , but no pain . It does not itch , just hurts a lot when I move my arm around . They are like long red bumps that hurt on the touch . I saw a pharmacist and she said it could be a fungal infection. She said I might have to use "Lamisil Cream" , which is a lot of $$. The problem is I don't have coverage and I cannot afford this cream at the moment.
