Bumps under lip

Common Questions and Answers about Bumps under lip

bumps

I just got one about a week ago and have been putting vaseline on my lips religiously, now I am getting little bumps under my bottom lip line and it looks as if it is swollen. I just happened to be at my OB/GYN today and she said they didn't look like herpes. They seem clear and are only visible if you look closely. They only tingle or itch if I put blistex or another medicated chapstick on it. I was wondering if anyone knew what they were or how to make them go away. Thank you!
I have recently discovered what seem to be a few small, almost tiny cyst like bumps under the skin in my lower lip on the inside of my mouth. I can feel them when I run my tongue or fingers over them. What are these? Should I be worried. I have used chewing tobacco for only about the past six months.

Hey. I have little white bumps on my bottom lip. They don't hurt but occasionally one will swell and then go away. I have had unprotected oral sex with someone who I don't know they're sexual history. What do you think this could be?
every now and then i get a single bump either under or above my lip. the bump is not actually on the lip itself. sometimes it is red and itchy wit a lil burn sensation if touched. i noticed that if i dont touch it it becomes less itchy and has a chance of going away but other times it gets big and noticable i use alcohol or abreva and it can help but it takes a while and always leave a scar or discoloration.
There are also smaller bumps inside my lower lip (1 mm or less) that sometimes also have this clear liquid. I don't think it is herpes because they have been there for at least 2 months now. There is also no redness associated with them and no pain whatsoever. The liquid that comes out seems to be mucus from my lips as it is clear and somewhat sticky, as it can create a strand of a couple inches between my finger sometimes before breaking.

About 5 days ago, I noticed a quite few more start coming in but they're under the skin and lip -skin colored, and appear to be a little more raised up than before but still under the skin. They are hard to notice unless you're really looking for them in the mirror. Immediately I feared the worst - like herpes. I made an appointment for the next day to see my primary physician.
5 months ago I had protected genital sex and unprotected oral sex with a girl I met online, I witnessed a healing cold sore under her lip but at that time I didn't know it's herpes and that it could be transmitted. I developed NGU after 2 weeks of incident and doctors gave me antibiotics and it treated my painful urination and itchy urethra. Now after 5 months of that incident I'm starting to see very small bumps (almost 3 of them) under my penis head where the skin n shaft meet.
im not overly worried about the bumps under my foreskin but would like your opinion as i will not be home again for another 5 months.also the bumps on my face?any ideas?is it true the immune system will kill hpv?also i poured vinegar on my penis to see if any warts showed up and nothing.im well aware of the usual lumps and bumps like sebacious glands etc.so please any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
It is a rubbery, bubblelike painles swelling. It is usually inside the lower lip or under the tongue and caused mainly by biting the lips or trauma. Usually it goes away on its own.But if it does not, then corticosteroid injections and surgical removal by scalpel or laser are done by a dermatologist. It also has to be differentiated from a hemangioma and warts then.Herpe presents as painful blisters outside the mothe. Hope it helps.
For the last year my pores have enlarged and I have many white bumps under the skin on my right side of my face around the chin, jaw and top of the cheek bone down to the jaw with a few a couple in the middle of my right cheek. They arent hard bumps and most if squeezed while produce a white string substance and it never goes away. I wash my face morninng & night and have tried every type of face wash hoping to find my cure. Can you please tell me what this is and how do I get rid of them.
I am a 30 year old female, and have had some increasing redness under the bottom of my lip on the left side, for over a week. It is the reddest it's been today. There are no bumps present, no swelling, the only other symptom would be dry lips. I do worry if I am vitamin deficient, and have thought maybe it could be angular chelitis, but I'm unsure. I will include a photo for additional diagnosis. I have an appointment with a dermatologist, but they weren't able to get me in for two weeks.
The spots are on the outer portion of the lip (the portion of the lip that is visible with the mouth closed) and not on the under part of the upper lip (the more moist area). These spots are not painful, and they might have been here all along, because I have never looked this closely before. The spots are spread from corner to corner on my upper lip. Any help will be appreciated.
It is usually inside the lower lip, under the tongue or the inside of mouth and caused mainly by biting the lips or trauma during eating of food. Usually it goes away on its own. But if it does not, then corticosteroid injections and surgical removal by scalpel or laser are done by a dermatologist. It then has to be differentiated from other mucocutaneous lesions also.

I have these very small raised red bumps on the cupids bow part of my upper lip. They have been there since I was a teenager. I had them lasered off a few years ago, and this worked - they disappeared. But then they came back a year or so later, and got a bit bigger! I've been to numerous dermatologists and doctors and tried numerous treatments, and none have worked. I've been told it's benign, but it bothers me and if I accidentally scratch my lip, they will bleed.
I have tried all sorts of exfoliating techniques and topical treatments (AHA, salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide, lactic acids, etc…) and nothing ever gets rid of the bumps. What do you think is causing these bumps? What are these bumps? How do I get rid of them?
In the worst case scenario, I develop tiny hard, clear bumps on both the top and bottom lip...they normally last for about 1-2weeks before fading. During that time, I get absolutely NO relief from the constant feeling of irritation and dryness. PLEASE HELP!!!
what is it when you have a cluster of bumps under your lip in the inside of your mouth, and when you wake up your lips is swollen ,and you have metallic taste in your mouth last night and in the morning what do you do .

Someone posted here about this last year, but there was no follow-up. Wondering what happened, because now I, too, have these weird, annoying bumps. The only three things that have changed/happened: dental work three weeks ago (filling replacement), started taking mushroom and respiratory supplements, tried to make my own Kefir water, drank a small glass and didn't like it. But Kefir grains do have yeast/bacteria and wondering if I have inadvertently cultured my mouth.
