My daughter has a significant amount of bumps under her skin on her head and down her jaw. When you run your knuckle on them they move. When they are big or there are a lot of them she gets a really bad headache. Her Chiari surgeon does not have anyone else with them so I am asking if any of you do. He thinks they may be blood vessels. She had surgery in Oct 09 and has been feeling much better but the "head poppies" as we call them seem to be getting worse.
For the last year my pores have enlarged and I have many white bumps under the skin on my right side of my face around the chin, jaw and top of the cheek bone down to the jaw with a few a couple in the middle of my right cheek. They arent hard bumps and most if squeezed while produce a white string substance and it never goes away. I wash my face morninng & night and have tried every type of face wash hoping to find my cure. Can you please tell me what this is and how do I get rid of them.
There are two bumps along my lower jaw(under the tounge) on the bone. It does not hurt but im worried! I dont know if it might be cancer. Does anybody know what it might be?
The other issue has also happened a few days ago. I woke up with a bad ache like pain in the right side of my jaw, seems to be under the cheek bone. Again it varies from day to day but it does annoy when I move my mouth and eat. The thing is I was fine then all of a sudden I have these two odd pains in my neck and jaw which I have never had before.
No significant findings for me either. I did notice that when I press my finger between my jaw and mastoid, under my ear I can feel a hard mass, which the Dr. has assured me from the CT scan is my "Spinal Process". I can only feel this mass on the left side. I was terrified of C also, but have had every blood test, tangible, and visual inspection possible. I'm starting to think my neck vertebrae has shifted or twisted, causing all this.
is this an infection? a small bump under the skin at jawline developed overnight to swollen painful glands, warm, itchy, painful, swollen lump, no fever, some tiredness. next day developed small bumps at this site, around 10, glands are less painful but still swollen. no sign of bite, no center as in a boil, just generalized pink blotchy look, but whole left jaw is still swollen and somewhat painful. the skin is not swollen and red like a bite or boil might be. it's more like under the skin.
Just like you, I also had those bumps in my thigh, jaw and recently in my neck. In my neck, i tried hot compress and it gets smaller... Those found in my thigh and jaw, they stayed there for years now. They didn't give me pain. The doctors, told me nothing to worry about. I was just told to increase my water intake. For your peace of mind, better consult an expert on the field. A dermatologist. EENT, or any physician who can diagnose you better. Regards.
about a week ago i noticed my jaw line and neck became very itchy and also had a burning sensation. It's since gotten worse.I can feel tiny bumps on my skin but can't see any of them or see any redness. Please help me?
About 5 months ago I noticed a little smaller than a pea (I would actually have to feel around for it) beside my jaw bone under my ear lobe. Now it is about 1cm maybe a little smaller but deffinatly bigger than it was 5 months ago. I have no pain associated with it and no sxs of infection or illness. I feel very healthy and well. I do not have any issue with my salvary system AEB no excessive mouth watering or pain when i think or eat lemons and salty things.
My mother is having a similar issue. I too think your "bumps" might be "Tori." I found a great website that was extremely informative. It is www.doctorspiller.com look under "sores, lumps & bumps." You might not have found info under Tori because the med name is: Torus Mandibularis. Hope this helps...until I found this website, I was a bit freaked out when my mother asked me to look into her mouth!
For about a week I had an irritation under my tongue. I finally took a good look at it two days ago to find small white spots about the size of a pencil lead under my tongue where it meets the jaw. I looked again yesterday and today to find the spots are now the same color as the rest of the tongue but still visible. There were also flesh colored bumps on the top of my tongue that didn't irritate and have also left completely.
Check her neck, under the bottom jaw and on the sides of the neck,Meir any possible swollen lymph nodes. That would be a sure sign there might be an infection. After cleaning the area, make sure to wash your own hands. Please come back to update.
Might it be teeth in need of work? If it's from the bumps under the tongue, further back, a possible slight infection in your saliva glands or small obstruction. If you have a habbit of constant checking with your tongue, that in itself might keep it irritated.
Please help me.. I have started feeling like there is something crawling under my skin.. I first felt it on my arms now my face around my lips and eyebrows. I have started pulling my eyebrows out and when I look at the tips I see a clear hard buildup of some sort. My back itches/ feels like something is crawling on my legs, face and arms. Its like something is under my skin and attaches to my hair and forms a mass on each strand of hair....
I also have these small bumps on my skin. They are in the neck area right under my jaw line. I went to a dermatologist and he said they are probably flat worts. I read that bumps near the head are a sign of sarcoidosis. I have a probably 10 in a 1 1/2in area. They are the same color as my skin. I'm going in for an EKG tomorrow because I almost fainted while doing light cardio two weeks ago. Could the bumps be related to sarcoidosis? How do I bring this up to my doctor.
I have white bumps on my gums I have been looking up gum disease and periodontitis and I think I have perioddontitis I have two of them on my upper gums one on the left and one on the right but the one on my left seems like it went down and is flat like now but is still white now the one on my right is still there and I can't tell if it got slightly bigger or is still the same though.

Its a hard pea-sized bump under my skin, and can be pushed around a bit. I was thinking it was a cyst, but is it normal for it to develop within 8 hours? I normally have a bit of vaginal discharge, but it seems to have increased the past few days. Any ideas for what it might be? I don't think it is an STD because i havent seen my boyfriend since the summer... so haven't had sex since then ( he has been my only partner).
To who can help: I have a 1/2 dozen or so red spots under my chin & side of my neck and a few on the side of my face. This just started to occur though in the last 1/2 year, I have notice 1 red mark at times. They would go away. But this time it is pretty bad. No other place of my body is infected. Just the neck and by the end of jaw area.
If you have no fever and the white patches are not pus or bumps I would say viral infection. Any swollen lymph nodes under the jaw? I would see your GP to check out why the headaches. Could potentially be an ear infection or allergy. It depends on the fever and is the throat sore?
On Friday, my lymph nodes, all under my neck started to feel sore. Today, Saturday, the the neck still is swollen but better. The eyes still itch on and off. I started to feel a pain in my ear today, Sat.. I do have allergies, and since its warm and the grass is started to get green, don't know its allergies or something else. The itching in the anal region hasn't gotten away, but the genital region is still there once in a while.
However last 2 months I got these little white bony gum bumps on gum on my lower jaw. They havent gone away. Anyone have this?? Im 6 weeks post tx. They dont hurt but they are raised and feel uncomfortable and sometimes depending what I eat it feels odd?? If anybody had this please let me know. It was more like it kept them at bay, but they seemed to remain under the skin. It's hard to explain exactly, but it was sort of like the Mupirocin kept new bumps from developing as rapidly, but couldn't really clear up the ones that seemed to be deep in the skin near the folds of my eyes (at the corners). I used it 3 times a day for about 10 days. After about 7 days, a new batch of bumps showed up, so I discontinued its use.
