First off I'm a 32 male. For a few years now I've gotten bumps under my armpits that are red and painful. I always thought it was from shaving but recently I have gotten them and don't shave anymore. I switched from old spice deodorant to an all natural deodorant, native, after I was getting a small rash and itching. Now I have a bigger rash under my left armpit but my right armpit is fine. Can this be from deodorant? Laundry detergent? I don't sweat all that much.
I noticed a few days ago after shaving that I had a bump under my arm. It was only slightly sore at first but was yellow/white full of puss. It easily sqeezed out. I usual get razor bumps; however this time the minor bump turned into a large lump under my left armpit. I've noticed a dimple in the middle of it. The lump is sore and tender and inflammed. Should I try to drain it again even though it's very very very painful and won't budge?
I have big red bumps under my Armpit. It started out as a rash, and then a few big bumps formed on my arm. Then weeks later they have doubled. They get red when I sweat or when water hits them. Now it's to the point to where It hurts to lift up my arms and it feels like boiling water hitting them when I take a shower. I'm only 15 years old. Please help me?
I figured it was because I just used soap, and I usually always use shaving cream. I still have the rash/razor burn to this day and its getting worse. The red bumps turned into zits and some of the zits are getting big and they hurt to touch them. Also I have got on each side more zits lower down my side and up the inside of my arm. I am not sure if this is due to the other zits rubbing against the skin and irrating it and making more zits form.
There are red blotches which seem to be dry skin. A few pimple-looking bumps show up under my armpits as well, and I really want to know what this is. I have tried 1% Hydrocortisone Cream and Johnston's Baby Moisturizing Cream and none of these have had a full on great effect. Can anyone help? This really is bothering me and permitting me from wearing tank tops that I love, and is really embarrassing.

t already use shaving cream, try using one instead of regular soap which can be drying. Finally, wait as long as possible after shaving to apply your deodorant (have you tried spray deodorant instead of roll on or stick?) If none of this works, or you have already tried all of these, you might want to try seeing a dermatologist. Good luck.

I have had HS and the bumps are normally very very painful and appear in multiples. If you are experiencing them under your arm and in the crack of your butt it sounds like it could be HS. Try detoxing your body. Low sugar, low carb, and lots of protein & veggies. I have been doing this for the last six months and I have not had a breakout. I stopped shaving close also. Let me know if this works for you.
2 days later i got about 4-5 pimple looking bumps under my left armpit that were painful also. I went to my dr and he said looks like bumps cause from trimming or shaving under armpits (which i have never had before) and gave me antibiotic cream to apply.
Also i have this pain in my right arm from my joint shoulder to my arm every morning when i wake up and during the day it goes away but there is still a bit of pain sometimes.
I also had two small patches on my left palm which had bumps on it and when i press on it i can see red spots under the skin this started at about 6 weeks and no longer has bumps on it but still red patched

I experience minor acne on my face, but nowhere else until recently. Last year I began shaving my armpits and soon after got minor acne (for lack of a better word. It was red bumps and whiteheads) on my left armpit, which soon spread to my right. It stayed for the remainder of the summer, then went away and left minimal scarring. Now it is summer again and I recently shaved my armpits, only to experience the same problem. There are also smaller bumps and rashes around the area and on my torso.
Only use a razor/razor blade ONCE and maybe invest in a better quality one rather than the disposables. My guess is these are from bacteria that entered the skin after shaving. So try using the antibacterial soap before you shave and use shaving cream to make the razor glide more easily making it less likely you will cut your skin. Then wash again with antibacterial soap after you shave. Hopefully that will keep this from happening again.
On 3/1, I developed a VERY itchy, red, puffy, warm/hot rash to left armpit, by the evening, it began popping up in my right armpit. on 3/3, I called cosmetic center-->MD suspected "laser burn" and wanted to eval. Doc said it was an "infection", was given topical ointment for itch & oral antibiotics. NOW, it's starting to creep/spread-->shoulders, torso, arms. The "creeping" bumps look like "chicken pox". Please help!
For a couple of years i have had a rash under my right armpit, it consists of quite alot of raised spok like lumps, it doesnt itch or bother me, but i know its there so its more of a conscious problem. I have been to my doctors and they referred me to a dermatologist who didnt really do anything, they told me to stop shaving for a while to see if it was affecting it but that proved nothing, then i have been on salicylic acid which i have had for about a year now and thats done nothing either.
So I woke up today perfectly fine and then after feeding my baby bottle fed to be precise I ended up with sore armpit left side there is no redness or bumps or swellings just tender when pressed upon what could it be I also have itchy throat and I shave my underarms and in the last three days I have walked ALOT
Well they are bigger now. The one that is right above my armpit does rub against my bra when I close my arm. I talked to my grandmother who use to be a nurse, she said what I was describing sounded like a boil. Cause now, there is this hard solid mass under the bump. So I got some boil cream and have been putting heat packs on it all day, so now I'm just waiting for it to come to a head so it will drain, but if it doesn't in a few days my dad said he would take me to the hospital.
A few days ago I got an itchy red bump under my right armpit and within days the right armpit and upper under arm has several red itchy bumps and the left armpit is also developing a few (not like the right). I have been putting Neosporine and Cortizone cream on it but it does not seem to be getting much better. Any ideas? I am unable to see a doctor for financial reasons at this time. Thank you!
about a week ago I had 2 small pea size bumps under the the right armpit no pain. I tried to pop them thinking they were pimples but they are deep in the tissue. ( no pussing). 2 days ago I woke up with a large lump under my left armpit which is very painful. What should I do? I'm very scared...Could this be Cancer???? I had Ovarian Cancer 18 years ago.
I have a rash on both my arms (the part that touches the armpit) that has been evolving for several weeks. Early on, it was large bumps (1-1.5cm x .5cm) on the armpit itself, now it is small bumps on the skin that surrounds the armpit. On the right arm it's about 3.5cm (from the start of armpit up the arm) and about 1.5 cm (on the perimeter of the armpit only on the right side)They have always been reddish, and itchy. I also have a patch of the rash on my chin, under my lower lip.
