bumps

Avatar n tn I have had bumps way back towards the end of the tongue, for over a month now. I am not sure how long before the first time I noticed them they have been there, maybe it was only a month or so when I felt them. There are three small clustered together on one side and only one on the other side of the tongue. They are of same color as the tongue (pale pink), don't hurt at all and only at time (maybe once a week) may feel as there is something on the tongue.
Avatar f tn I noticed a cluster of bumps on the very back of my tongue. I only see them when i stick my tongue out very far. They are behind the "v" of papillae and just above the epiglottis (the thing that closes over the trachea. i dont know if thats the right term). Any ways, they dont hurt at all, but i just noticed them recently.... Anyone know what these are?
Avatar f tn So today I just noticed bumps on the back of my tongue. i can only see them if i stick my tongue all the way out. They don't hurt at all and theyre the same color as my tongue they look exactly like this https://iytmed.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/76_bumps-on-back-of-tongue-no-pain.jpg what is it?
Avatar f tn If it is some kind of garden virus. How can you get the bumps on the back of your tongue to go away? I have never had this and I know you say not to worry ,but that is hard to do.If their is anything I can do to make it go away I would be happy to get any tips...!! 1855970 tn?1325823613 The past few days I've noticed bumps on the back of my tongue... they were just visible if I stuck my tongue out far and didnt hurt or anything. But today, one of the bumps toward the left side just feels annoying. Like when a popcorn kernel gets stuck on the back of your tongue... thats what it feels like. I tried using a toothbrush to kind of 'brush' it away, and it didnt work.
Avatar n tn I have a patch of raised white bumps in the back center of my tongue that appeared about three days ago and are still there. They do not hurt unless I pick at them but they are raised so they are irritating. I have been rinsing with a medical oral wash but it has not seemed to help. I burnt my tongue several days ago but I have burnt it before and this has never happen. Do you have any idea what this might be?
Avatar n tn I have these weird, raised, and various sized bumps on my tongue towards the back and on both sides of my tongue, on the lower half. My tongue feels swollen on both lower sides of my tongue towards the bottom... It is somewhat painful... Just very irritating. Please, someone tell me what is wrong!! I am a very paranoid person in nature and the slightest oddity of my body stresses me out. All I can say for sure is that these bumps are not normal and werent there in the past.
Avatar f tn Ok solast Thursday I gave me boyfriend oral sex tht lasted a minute.& 3 days later (sunday) I went to sleep & had my fan on high& windows open. In the middle of the nite I woke up& my throat was super dry& hurt. i drank tea& went back to bed. Then when I woke up in morning my throat hurt a lil & I looked in& on the way back of my tongue was bumps there are 3 on each side forming a V & way further down on my tongue are just a bunch of bumps.
Avatar n tn About 3 days ago, I found a canker sore on my lip. Yesterday bumps appeared on the back of my tongue. They do not hurt, but are quite annoying. All i want to do is swallow them. I heard that the bumps on the back of the tongue are a part of normally anatomy, but i can't help but think that they are inflamed or infected. Is there anything I can do at home? If they don't go down in a couple of days, I plan on seeing a dentist. Heres my background: I'm a college student.
Avatar m tn OK, I have kissed and performed oral sex on about 3 women in the past 2 months. I now have a bunch of small bumps on my lingual frenulum (the part under my tongue where the spit glands are). They look like a bunch of spider eyes. They are painless and most of them are the color of my mouth. They were a bit red yesterday, but not firetruck red. They haven't secreted anything, yet. I'm not sure if they ever will secrete anything.
Avatar f tn Makes sense since lots of different chemical reactions from the food you eat. Bumps on the back of the tongue are normal. Here is a link that may help: http://www.livestrong.com/article/312859-red-bumps-way-back-on-the-tongue/ There are many other links that that one above. I had a sore a few months ago that was inside my lower lip and lasted 12 hours (half a day). It was my paranoid stage when I thought I was suffering from oral HPV.
Avatar n tn And now I looked in the mirror and saw some white in the back of my tongue. Its a small thin layer of white in the back of my tongue with fissures going down the center. The fissures aren't very deep. I am worried about this. I don't want it to be anything serious. I am scared to try brushing it off. The picture isn't my tongue but it is very similar to it. Except the white isn't in the front. It's in the back on the top of my tongue. Its minor though. Please help!!
Avatar f tn In the last few years I have had tiny white bumps appear on the tip of my tongue and my tongue appears swollen. In the past I have taken benadryl and that has taken care of it. They seem to come more often now. I keep up on my teeth cleanings and fillings if needed. I also suffer now from hypothyroidism due to the irradation of my thyroid due to hyperthyroidism. Could that be the cause? This discussion is related to <a href='http://www.medhelp.
Avatar f tn At the back of my tongue I found a lot of bumps at the back of my tongue. They are pink and raised and when I scratched at them I discovered they were attached to my tongue, in a mushroom sort of fashion. I don't feel sick and the bumps don't hurt at all. I only noticed them after I stuck my tongue out after eating a slushie, but I eat slushies (and candy) a lot and this has never happened before.
214105 tn?1265935159 I noticed that I was getting spots on the tongue where the papillae (small bumps on the tongue) were missing resulting in smooth patches on the tongue. I went to the doctor and he seemed more interested in explaining why it was called geographic tongue - because the patches look like countries.
Avatar n tn I often get them on the under side of my tongue. I have a bump very similar to that on the roof of my mouth in the back. I just ate garlic bread, so I'm wondering if these bumps can also occur on the roof of your mouth? I mean I literally just noticed it. It doesn't hurt though it does look a little red around the bump.
Avatar m tn ve just noticed that there are bumps near the back of my tongue (and seemingly moving up towards the front) that look like they might be sores. There is absolutely no pain in my mouth from this and no sore throat (therefore doesn't seem like thrush). I also think my tongue might be swollen because there are teeth marks on the sides of it. Below is a picture for reference, thanks for ANY help!!
Avatar n tn I just kissed her one time for a brief second. I noticed some bumps on back of her shoulder and on her tummy she said those are bug bites got them from camping. After nearly five days of this exposure I have a sore on the tip of my tongue with little white puss (it wasn't a bump). it is small I don't have any pain (just slight tingling sensation when I touch the sore with my teeth) I can eat normally. I am not sure when was the last time I had cold sore on tongue.
Avatar m tn About 3 weeks ago i went to the dentist for a cleaning, which was really painful. The next day I noticed bumps at the back of my tongue and closer to the tip. Im not sure if they are bumps or warts. Some are big and some are small and i can move them with my finger. They are the same color as my tongue and they dont hurt. Could this be oral HPV...im really scared.
Avatar f tn Hello, I am a 19yr old female and have recently noticed whilst inspecting my mouth that I have a yellow part that is attached to the far side of my tongue actually on the side of it. It is NOT painful and I don't know how long I have had it on my tongue as I can not even feel that it is there. I brush my teeth everyday and I do not smoke nor do I drink. However I have tried to look what it is online and some searches have indicated it that it could be cancer.
Avatar n tn I would like to know what can cause small hard painful bumps on the back of the tongue?
