I've been having these flesh colored/white colored bumps appear on my vermillion border. Occasionally one will get bigger, but nothing oozes out of it, and they usually begin to shrink after a day and a half. Sometimes they get itchy. I've been scratching it today (I know I probably shouldn't), so they are more irritated than they usually are. Is it possible they are just cold sores? The bumps have been there fore months.

I originally had what kinda felt like burning on the vermillion border of my lower lip for a while then just pressure for the last week. Im wondering if this is random nerve issues or prodrome for a cold sore. Also can the prodrome stage last more than 2 days in a row because I've been feeling this on/off for the past week.
ve been noticing that just about everytime after I shave my face I seem to get a bump right on the vermillion border/edge of my upper lip. Sometimes on the left side, sometimes on the right. It is not fluid filled as far as i can tell and it is not a hair follicle. When a bump appears it generally hurts when touched but it is not really large enough to be noticed. It tends to disappear within a week. Right now I have one on the right side of my top lip border but it is almost gone.
It started as a few bumps around the vermillion border of my lip, which escalated to a staph infection. It was cleared up by antibiotics, however two weeks later I woke up and it began to become infected with staph again to the point where I could not talk. That cleared up again with more antibiotics, but another week later I woke up with the inside of my bottom lip and the middle of my top lip raw and very red.
It varies between burning, itching, sometimes a crawling sensation, sometimes my lips feel full and a little tingly and/or numb. The vermillion border is redder and rougher than normal (but so slight that no one but me would be able to notice) and if I turn my head just right in the light you can see the tiniest pin-point lip colored bumps. After a few days of liberally applying balm, it seems the bumps slough off if I rub my lips with a warm wet rag.
The border of the lip is called the vermillion border. This is where I get it, always on the bottom left side. I have gotten it about 6 times in the past 7 months. So almost once a month. The doctors have no idea what it is. I suggested chelitis and they accused me of being a "Google Doc" (google doctor). How rude right? It's not herpes, I know herpes, I get that on my face sometimes too but it never looks or feels like this. This is different.
Firstly, the top of the vermillion border of my top lip has white spots merging down into it. At first this may not seem so obvious. The yellow circle shows a patch of redness amongst the white. This ‘redness’ is my actual lip and shows how the white is moving down into the lip. I am unsure what this is, but it also hurts and I suppose just above it (area between nose and lip) itches.
Secondly, the red circle shows the corner of my mouth. In this area it itches and has faded my lip partially.

My question is that there is one spot on the vermillion border of my lip that constantly (almost everyday for the last 4 months) tingles, there is a slight burning sensation and it is red and irritated. Could I be constantly experiencing prodromal symptoms with no real outbreak? Could I constantly be shedding the virus? Is that possible?
I take a daily suppressive medication (1000mg valacyclovir) everyday because it has made me so paranoid. However, I'm still experiencing these symptoms.
I have a red rash under my lower lip on the vermilion border. It's been here for about 6 months already. My dermatologist said it's lip licker's dermatitis, but I don't lick my lips a lot. He prescribed me hydrocortisone and other medications, nothing seems to work. Its almost lik a thin red line under my lip, connected to my lip. Similar to lip liner. Anyone have any advice on what this might be, or how to get rid of it?
I have two bumps symmetrical from each other on my upper lip (vermilion border). They're red and raised I'm freaking out. They don't hurt but do tingle. Any ideas? The left corner of my lower lip started whitening from its vermillion border. I have had oral herpes in that area for 20 years and have treated it with zovirax, and in sometimes in recent years, abreva. I went to a derm and he thought it was chelitis that was drying out my lips and causing hypopigmentation. He wasn't completely confident and told me that. I didn't think my lips were very dry at the time, so this was a surprise.
Plus my lips have begun peeling chronically and they feel occasionally irritated at the vermillion border. It has seemed a correlation between being outside and the skin on my lips rubbing off post shower. The only thing that has helped this has been benadryl cream on my lips.
Is it possible herpes is messing with my body?
I have a very small bump on the vermillion border of my lip. It looks like a tiny blister, it's hard, painless and there were no prodromal symptoms. What could this be besides a cold sore?
I've had angioedema around the vermillion border of my lips for approximately 4 months now. I feel fine otherwise and my CBC, HIV and C1Q tests came back normal/healthy. I've also been treated with antibiotics, antihistimines and prednisone and it hasn't helped the swelling at all. At this point, my doctor suspects that I might have a solar allergy and he and prescribed me Plaquenil (200mg BID). I've been taking it for 5 days now and so far there have been no results.
I have this little 2 bumps next to each other on the vermillion of my lower lip, just where the lip meets the skin. The bumps aren't red, they aren't painful, they aren't fluid filled but i'm not sure if it's a blister or not. I just had it yesterday.. And in the middle of it, there's a white spot. Thank you, I just looked that condition up and it seems to fit although the border is really just a thin line in a circle not bumps that make up the ring, it is a fairly small circle and ive had it for quite some time. I saw that people with thyroid problems can get this. I have Hypothyroidism. You responded to a post i had on here before about a rash on my Scrotum. It's going on over two months and i did go see my Doctor who prescribed me MENTAX cream which has been working slowly.
It is caused by chronic exposure to the sun’s UV rays and poor oral hygiene may be another risk factor. Symptoms include dry chapped lips, thinning skin on the lips, scaly patches, ulcers or crusting on the lips, swelling of the lip, redness or soreness of the lips and loss of demarcation between the border of the lip and the surrounding skin. Any or some of these symptoms may be present in patients.

So lately I've been getting these little bumps on my upper lip, and it's specifically in my border upper lip. They're really small and are the color of my lips, they also itch sometimes. I've read some tht it's because of my chapstic but I don't use them, I drink lots of water so my lips can't be dry. I'm 16 years old and I've never done anything sexually, just kissed a guy. I also read about forcyde spots, but these come and go.
