Bumps on tongue ring

Common Questions and Answers about Bumps on tongue ring

bumps

What surface of the tongue are they on? The top part of the tongue, or the underside? Look up pictures of "geographic tongue" because that occurs on the top part of the tongue. If it is on the bottom, it could be some canker sores because they occur on these spots. Either one, it would just be palliative treatment. Use some numbing gel - all your dentist will give you is, at most, a steroid rinse. See if it goes away within 7 days. If it doesn't, then go to your dentist.
I suddenly have developed tiny bumps on my upper lip. A few months ago this happened in just one little patch but it went away, and I can't remember if I did anything. But just a few days ago they appeared again on both sides of my upper lip. Then, the next day they had spread and now go all the way along the ridge of my upper lip. They aren't particularly noticeable except they change the shape of my lip, making it look smaller than it was in the places where they are on the very edge.
The little bumps on the inside of your lip may be Fordyce's Granules, which are small sweat glands that are misplaced and are in the lips and cheek area instead of on the skin. But I'm assuming that these bumps were present before and that you just started to notice them now due to the other bumps on the corner of your lip.
Usually when this occurs it comes with a fever this time it didn't. I then started to notice bumps on the back of my tongue followed by about 2 days of my tongue slightly swelling. I found that abnormal for having strep throat but figured it might be just a different strain. Last night my tongue started to hurt and I noticed a sore on the middle of my tongue. Now I haven't had intercourse or oral sex in at least 5 months.
Man am I glad to see other people with tongue problems. I have had pain on the side of my tongue for nearly 1.5 years - both on the left side and the right side. I have talked to two general MD's, one ENT, and two dentists about it and nobody can seem to give me a clue as to what's wrong. The left side of my tongue always seems sensitive. It seems to be foliate pappitis to me but what do I know. I do know that I have cut wayyyy back on sugar (about 90%) and things have improved.
I thought it might be geographic tongue but some of the pics on the web of hpv on the tongue looked somewhat similar. They are red bumps like irritated taste buds with an outer ring of slight white color. And now I have a larger flesh colored bump that is smooth and on the top of my tongue in the middle if the red dots. The weird thing is that this patch keeps moving after a few days from one side of my tongue to the other.
I have also considered a correlation between the rash and acidic foods but I haven't changed my diet to find out. The bumps originated on my left ring finger and it has now spread to my left middle, ring, and pinky finger, and also my right ring and middle fingers. My husband is constantly yelling at me for scratching but my hands just itch like crazy...not to mention the fact that I can't wear my rings due to all of the swelling.
i have the same problem, it ***** i have the bumps everywhere on my hands and some on my feet. and the itching is constant. my boyfriend of a year has a similar condition only his have scabbed but he also gets the itchys. i hate them ive been to the doctor 2 times first they told me it was contast dermatitis and the steriods and cream didnt help. the second time the doctors didnt know they gave me cream and told me if it stays i should go to the dermatoligist.
I have a fever now, but it's after the bumps. I have a really large sore on my tongue now that is extremely painful, but my appetite isn't poor. I just can't eat with this thing on my tongue because it hurts too much. The rash is on my hands, feet, in my mouth, the back of my thighs, and across my chest. Would this present in the additional two areas?
Now there are 8 or 9 (one big one in the center, with little ones randomly around it, slightly spread out), they are only on the underside of the tongue, on soft, movable skin (not the gums). They are yellowwhite in color, and don't appear to be leaking any type of fluid. I went to the same oral surgeon yesterday and he says he doesn't know what it is, he said it's not canker sores because there's no red ring around them, he also described them as raised instead of deep.
About a week ago i noticed small red bumps on my stomach and as the days went by it started spreading all over my body. There are no bumps on my legs or face though. I only have a few on my lower arms and like 3 bumps on my neck. But my torso and lower back are covered with them. The weird thing is that they don't itch at all!! I been checking all different websites and question from people but all their bumps itch really bad, so it really doesn't help me out too much.
I also noticed that it seems to cut down on the red bumps I get on my thighs once in a while. The bumps on my thighs are something I have had ever since I was a kid (on and off). They are different than the bumps on my eyes however. The little bumps on my thighs are more like pimples and come and go. Anyway, it seems like when I take the Oil of Oregano, my skin is much better looking as a whole and those go away.
No pus or discard or anything like that, but the inside of my penis (pee whole) kinda slightly only a little bit burn when I pee is it's a little red inside but the top looks normal and also on of the girls had braces and a tongue ring so maybe the bruise came from that...but now I'm worried about the inside....maybe it's herpes ( god no ) or something else. No bumps either What are the chance me havingany STD or herpes...I trying not to freakout but I'm really lost...
I also had a few bumps show up one on my leg and one on my foot beneath my knee which appeared to be mosquito bites (I live in the tropics and they are LOTS of mosquitoes lately in my house :S ) but those bumps have disappeared like normal.... March the 7th the burning sensation after peeing has ceased but i still have slight stinging in my groin area every now and then. I finished my Ciproflaxcin on the 10th Its March 12th now and most of the stinging sensation has gone...

No pain nothing …I got itching on groin n scrotum so I washed it off with Dettol – but I made mistke – user more dettol than water – so some skin got burned and used BETNOVATE –N (BETAMETHASONE VALERATE AND NEOMYCIN SKIN CREAM) few balck dots on my groin and innder thighs … when I checkd my armpit I cant see lymphnode ..but am kinda fat man .. gotta FAT/big bumps on both armpit...whn I googled all thses – all showing /directing towards HIV.. once I met with an ENT Dr.. so he checked my mouth .
My mom has been getting the same itchy bumps on her arms for almost a year now. Nothing seemed to work until I suggested she start taking an Antihistamine. This seems to help alot. She has no history of allergies, bug bites or what have you, but she does get cold sores and suffered a severe outbreak on her entire face due to contracting bacterial menangitis where her immune system was so impaired, the herpes ran rampant.
In any case, it could be that your chlamydia has infected the prostate, or the tongue ring caused some irritation, or the lotion wasn't a good idea. You said you went back to the doctor - what did they say about it?
it started out with the feeling of bugs crawling on me then i got these kind of sore bumps in my armpits only and it also felt like my throat glands were bigger as well as my armpit glands. the glands/armpit bumps went away but now it feels like the bugs are goin into my ears and into my nose and now they feel like there going into my anus and i have to use rubbing alcohol to get rid of the stinging and intense itching in that area plus i still have them all over my body to.
I was diagnosed with crostocrodritius and have been getting these red bumps with red and white rings on my tongue latley. I feel like I'm going crazy please advise....
White coating on tongue. Red bumps back of tongue in same area. no burn. If i brushed then white liquid is coming. What is it?
My wife has bites all up and down her legs and even a protruded ring looking this on her forearm. As you might have imagined I'm loosing my mind and life, nothing is the same. And now that the doctor says it's my imagination I cant even get my mom or wide (even though she has a lot of bites) to believe what I'm feeling is real. This makes everything 99.9% harder.
A bacteria is its own living cell and multiplies and spreads on its own and is easier to destroy in that process. Speaking of outbreaks, influenza is finally reaching Palo Alto right around now. If your doctor knows that your own area is experiencing an outbreak of influenza, it may be reasonable to treat with antiviral drugs, especially if your temperature is more than 100 degrees and your symptoms have lasted less than 48 hours, and you don't have pneumonia.
for about 2-3 days i've noticed a small circular rash (non itching and barely visible, can only feel with my tongue) on my upper lip on the right. it blends in with the ridges of my lips but once look closely the skin looks like tiny bumps forming a circle, almost like a ring worm. after the 3 days, that small rash disappeared and now there is a small one on the left side of on my upper lip. same symptom etc. not in the corners, just on the upper lip...no pain no itchiness no bleeding....
I have my tounge peirced and it started off with my tounge hurting like it was infected then i was brushing my tounge with this stuff i normally dont use but have used it b4 and this not happen... well i have my tounge hurting where it is perirced and i have noticed i have lil bumps on the bottom of my tounge... im thinking its herpes? does it sound like herpes to you doctor... please im desperate and need help...
I copied this out hope its not too long ..Sores are small bumps which forms on the side and under the tongue. Usually they are harmless, but at times, they may be cancerous as well. Tongue sores can be painful at times, and you may find it difficult to perform normal activities like talking and eating. If that's the case, you should get the painful sore under tongue checked and take medicines as prescribed.
Since I have gone to see her, several more bumps have appeared on my tongue and throughout my mouth. I now have one on the inside of my cheek and a couple large smooth bumps on the roof of my mouth. A couple of smaller sores have also appeared next to the big ones on my tongue. I do not have any sores on my lips or outside my mouth. I know that oral herpes generally appears outside the mouth, but from what I have read this seems to be consistent with a primary oral herpes outbreak.
There is also something like a cold sore on my tongue, it is not a bump exactly, but a white ring kind of bump. I have recently had poison ivy on my face, and it is still on my ear (going away). The crust on my lip is hardly noticeable to the naked eye, and can be removed easily, so that is what leads me to believe it is a crust, rather than skin.
Doc, After looking on the internet a bit, I'm slightly concerned about some bumps on the shaft on my penis. These bumps are close to the base of my penis, on top of the shaft, acctually in the "brown ring" that I think is from my circumsisian. They are not hard, and have been there so long that I can't even remember when they first appeared.
