Common Questions and Answers about Bumps on tongue kids

bumps

It is an awful thing to 'have to put up with' I also have ulcers on the back of my tongue and roof of my mouth, this cannot be normal.
I have been experiencing the same sore tongue problem on and off, I am on week 14 of interferon/riba. I find if I am able to bush my teeth right after eating it makes a difference, if I don't it flairs up. I just started using biotene toothpaste and so far my mouth seems happier. Rinsing with baking soda/water 3 to 4 times a day seems soothing and provides some relief, I read that it can help with thrush.
So I know this isn't a specific topic to CM but a some of you mentioned that you got thrush on your tongue after the surgery. My tongue has been bothering me for weeks, it's been burning and I've felt like I had dry mouth and just this gross taste in my mouth. Last night, it just drove me nuts so I took a flashlight and looked in there...I can't tell for sure how white it is in the back but there were definitely blisters back there. Plus, my tongue looks swollen to me.
Man am I glad to see other people with tongue problems. I have had pain on the side of my tongue for nearly 1.5 years - both on the left side and the right side. I have talked to two general MD's, one ENT, and two dentists about it and nobody can seem to give me a clue as to what's wrong. The left side of my tongue always seems sensitive. It seems to be foliate pappitis to me but what do I know. I do know that I have cut wayyyy back on sugar (about 90%) and things have improved.
An allergic reaction could quickly affect your ability to breathe, so call 911 or go to an emergency room immediately if you have hives accompanied by hoarseness or wheezing, swelling in your tongue or face, tightness in your throat, fainting, or if you develop hives on your tongue. If you have a life-threatening allergy to a food, medication, or insect sting, wear a medical identification bracelet that describes your allergy.
I'm also 18 and have the same thing i have no idea what it is, its like little tiny bumps on both sides on the labia minotra that is the same color as the rest of my skin and they don't hurt the skin feels kinda of ruff when you touch it. I don't know what it is or how i got it.... maybe its skin irratation or skin tags???
this morning i woke up with bumps on my hands and feet, but i didn't think much of it. i went to work (i teach kids how to swim) and as soon as i put one foot in the pool, it burned so bad! i had no idea what to do, but i pushed through. i came home and now it hurts to walk and touch things (even this keyboard as i'm typing!) i recently discovered some more bumps on my nose, lip, and head. what the heck are these things!? they burn when i leave them alone and they hurt whenever i move.
mouthwash like lestirine for the bumps, that doesnt work at all because it keep on coming back. any advice pls, anybody does have the same experience!!!! thanks a lot for all!!!
4 on index (2 on outside side, 1 the inside side, 1 on outside knuckle), 1 on palm, thumb-side of center. On my right: 2 on middle (1 below upper joint, index side; other palm-side knucklemost section); 1 palm below pinky knuckle. Small; size varies, but ca. sm. letter "o". Raised but to tell need to see in profile vs. from above. Over time recede & a flesh-colored (fluid-filled?) center becomes more noticeable. Don't itch.
so should i still have it checked out by a doctor just to be on the safe side. i remember getting white bumps on my tongue when i found out i was allergic to steak sauce...any similar stories? suggestions?
Anyhow, At the very back of my throat, in the centre, but like a bit down on the back wall i have 2 raised bumps which are heathly throat coloured, but when I swallow they turn white and the healthy colour slowly come back in seconds.. Theres a larger one lower and right by it there is a smaller one, sometimes i wake up and they are more reddish but throughout the day they go back to normal. I think I may have this cobblestone throat. They do not hurt at all, and I dont have a sore throat...
About a week ago i noticed small red bumps on my stomach and as the days went by it started spreading all over my body. There are no bumps on my legs or face though. I only have a few on my lower arms and like 3 bumps on my neck. But my torso and lower back are covered with them. The weird thing is that they don't itch at all!! I been checking all different websites and question from people but all their bumps itch really bad, so it really doesn't help me out too much.
I also noticed that it seems to cut down on the red bumps I get on my thighs once in a while. The bumps on my thighs are something I have had ever since I was a kid (on and off). They are different than the bumps on my eyes however. The little bumps on my thighs are more like pimples and come and go. Anyway, it seems like when I take the Oil of Oregano, my skin is much better looking as a whole and those go away.
i also have these little bumps on my lips and my daughter that is 2 years old has it also..i was told that it was fox fordyce and that it could be taken off by laser surgery but the scaring afterwords may be bad..i dontknow what to do about it...ive tryed all the over the couner creams diaper rash creams cold sore creams even facial scrub to try to open pores ....i feel ya! this *****!
I tested, but it was only after 10 days, it was neg, but probably meaningless. I had protected sex with a girl who has been around the block a few times. I figured I'll wear a condom and all will be well. Then I go to the dr. for a herpes test and at first they say I'm pos. but I couldn't have gotten it from the person. Week later retake, now says I'm neg. A week after we had sex I started to feel sick. First I just had no apetite out of worrying.
so I haven't talked to him today since I left and both kids were sleeping when I left... I saw movie charges on our debit account when I went in to pay bills- so I assume DH took Taylor to the movies- perhaps with her money- the tooth fairy brought her $2... it was either that or a five dollar bill- but we thought since she was only 4 she'd probably like getting two bills, even though it wasn't as much $$- she is still learning that!
I've been suffering from blistering inflammation for 5 years (I'm 29 now). I used to get huge red bumps on my face, especially my cheeks, which would ooz yellowish liquid for 2 days. It has been only a few months since I've gotten it under control. I've tried all kinds of antibiotics, cremes, biopsies, 6 different dermatologists, none of which helped. Last year, I took accutane for 6 months with great results (from a blister every other day to once per month).
After i had my daughter yr 2007 i started noticing i was getting hard bumps on my vaginal area and then just recently two months ago yr 2009 i grew a boil on my c section cut and one on my vaginal area. I went to see the doctor and he told me that they were boils and they can be treated, he prescribed me a med called Bactrim DS u take one twice a day for ten days and the boils should be gone and they shouldn't come back.
it is getting ridiculous, and I'm starting to lose sleep. Also, it was dark, so, I couldn't tell if there were any bumps or lesions on the stripper's mouth/tongue. Thanks!
but, due to all the stuff that's happened recently, I am done messin around!! I am on antibiotic right now and my tongue is on FIRE!!! I can hardly eat anything because everything tastes funny and burns my tongue like acid...and as a diabetic, I have to eat!!! If I wasn't so mad I'd sit down and cry, but, I know crying doesn't get you anywhere so I'll stay a little mad and hopefully get something done about this once and for all!!!
00] I'm a 49yr old female, abnormal on all sex hormones. What is the normal for someone my age? I asked the doc if I need replacement GH and he says he doesn't know. When I called the ins. company about coverage, they asked for a diagnosis and treatment code, and I don't know these. Are there tests that you have to take in order to prove that your pituitary can't be stimulated to make this? How do I proceed, as the doc isn't pursuing this? Any info would be appreciated!
I have done some research- Is it some rare kind of inner mouth herpes? I don't get any bumps on the outside of my mouth- I only get them on the inner lower lip. Could it be oral warts from HPV? How do I prevent them? Can I treat them? Is it bad to pop one myself? I have been getting them often the past few months since I have been under a lot of stress and not getting a lot of sleep.
My mom has been getting the same itchy bumps on her arms for almost a year now. Nothing seemed to work until I suggested she start taking an Antihistamine. This seems to help alot. She has no history of allergies, bug bites or what have you, but she does get cold sores and suffered a severe outbreak on her entire face due to contracting bacterial menangitis where her immune system was so impaired, the herpes ran rampant.
I've had a red rash on the palms of my hands and the soles of my feet that do not hurt or itch but it's chronic. It starts out with a bunch of very small red dots and over a week they start to peel off. Once they peel off, that area of my skin goes back to normal, but then this rash pops up some where else on my hands and feet.
I get so tired sometimes, that I am unable to talk or move. My body really breaks down on me. I have a job that keeps me on the phone 100% of the day... and I have to have a "peppy" attitude. That just isn't me. . . but it pays the bills. If I miss one more day of work, I will be fired. I am so afraid. I cannot predict when my body will begin to shut down. I cannot predict when I will be unable to say a word without crying. I'm afraid of what this illness will do to me.
it started out with the feeling of bugs crawling on me then i got these kind of sore bumps in my armpits only and it also felt like my throat glands were bigger as well as my armpit glands. the glands/armpit bumps went away but now it feels like the bugs are goin into my ears and into my nose and now they feel like there going into my anus and i have to use rubbing alcohol to get rid of the stinging and intense itching in that area plus i still have them all over my body to.
Hello there, I'm hoping someone out there may have experianced this problem, or may have some ideas as to what is going on with me,For the last six month, I have been steadly losing the hair on the right side of my body,my mother is a hairstylist she specializes in hair loss ,wigs and hairpieces for any type of hairloss, including cancer, and alopecia.
They seem to love the trash and the sink (different fly?). Up to 6 months ago I felt like a bug was crawling on me when I sat on my couch and bed (different apartment), our first assumption was bed bugs and we treated the house (using bombs) for these, the crawling feeling slowed but never fully stopped. We recently moved (2 months ago) and I felt the same thing on the couch and bed, even worse actually. So much so that we had to throw the couch out.
A bacteria is its own living cell and multiplies and spreads on its own and is easier to destroy in that process. Speaking of outbreaks, influenza is finally reaching Palo Alto right around now. If your doctor knows that your own area is experiencing an outbreak of influenza, it may be reasonable to treat with antiviral drugs, especially if your temperature is more than 100 degrees and your symptoms have lasted less than 48 hours, and you don't have pneumonia.
there is a spot on my nose that i've rubbed raw washing, trying to get these "things" out of my pores. these are not whiteheads, nor blackheads. these are clusters of white or fleshy hard and sticky plugs-- not filled with anything, but they stick straight out from the pores. They are not bumps. If I rub the area w/ a towel they do not rub off at all. I tried to remove one with tweezers, and it was very tacky (as in sticky) and clearly goes deep under the skin.
