bumps on skin when scratched

Yesterday I scratched the inside of my upper thigh right next to my scrotum and noticed it was a bit itchy when I did. So I looked and saw very small red bumps and dry skin. They didn't hurt and they weren't blisters. They were all individual bumps around an area of an inch or two. A few hours later I scratched at it to see what happened. It just looked like I was rubbing off dead skin. There was no fluid and no pain. They didn't appear to be blisters.

I groomed her last we shaved her hair to a 1/4 inch. It was then that we discovered black pimple like bumps on the top of her lower back. They don't bother her. She is not scratching them on the carpet or grass. She does not chew on her back. No hair loss. They do not look like flea bites. I scratched one and a slight scab came off but not the bump. Any idea's? Any are appreciated.

Hi I have recently noticed a couple of small bumps on my left labia. At first they were itchy but when i scratched them i broke the skin and now they're sore. They are not ***** or anything like that just itchy. I am sexually active but i have only slept with the one person and as far as i know he is only sleeping with me. A few years ago a couple bumps came up a couple inches under my belly button and they itched really bad. I scratched them to much and it caused scabs but the bumps will come and go. Sometimes they itch, and when i scratched them they eventually healed and left brown marks on my skin. I have been having the same problem on my arms around the fore-arm, elbow area, and legs (i have a HUGE one on my leg thats red and looks like a spider bite.) about a month ago i started itching my calf and noticed that there were a cluster of bumps i (stupidly) scratched and itch went away but the bumps stayed then i took a shower later and my thighs and butt and left hip. i talked to my mom who's an RN but she just said put itch cream on it and i put some store brand itch cream on and it didn't help. i still itch and the patches have gotten larger and the itch is unbearable. does anyone have any ideas?

My grandfather has a lot of red bumps on his lower leg (above the ankles to his knees); they have a diameter of approximately 1 centimeter. Their color is red to slightly violet and sometimes they itch... but they do not bleed unless scratched. They are not very swollen yet above the level of skin. The red whelps would be in the exact formation of how I had scratched the skin, if I scratched in a circle the whelp would be a circle, and hard. If I scratched in a line, the whelp would form in a hard line. This is so odd, if I began to itch and did not scratch the area there would be no whelps only a few small red dots. Benadryl cream does not relieve the itching or the whelps nor does hydrocortizone cream.
