And I found out that scabies burrows or color is grayish brown. My problem now is seeing red small parallel bumps on my skin. Sort of like scratches. I feel first a burning feeling and that something is crawling on my skin. Then suddenly there is this bump that at times are all close together. But it disappears quickly then another will appear in another area like thigh, leg, arms, wrist, elbow. I really need relief from knowing what this might be.
It is characterized by intense itching, usually at night and by small insect-type bites lesions on the skin. Diagnosis of scabies is made by scraping the skin and viewing the material under a microscope to see the characteristic mite or eggs. So my advice would be to consult a dermatologist and get this investigation done to rule out/ confirm scabies.
They're developing that quickly? Sounds like some kind of skin parasites. Not just your run-of-the-mill fleas either. Most rashes and fungal infections show up as red, inflamed and weepy. I just don't know. How is he behaving? Still active and alert? His appetite OK? I doubt this is something you can treat on your own. Is there a ferret group in your area? Perhaps they've seen this before and can advise you. I deal with mink and weasels but I've never seen what you're describing.
My thumbs are the worst to peal but most my fingers will peal off on the sides and bottom but no skin peals on the top. Some skin will peal off the palm of my hand but not much. Luckily for me nothing peals off my feet. I have tried anti-fungals and no help either. I hope someone can figure this out. It goes on for about a month for me before it gets better. I would love to get rid of it once and for all.
And they are only adjacent to my middle and lower finger joints/knuckles. They don't appear anywhere else on my hands or body. When the raised bumps go down the skin is very hard and dry in that area and a little sore. They are pink/red in nature and kind of yellow when they dry out. Are there any additional details I can provide that would help?
I have redish skin bumps on my scalp that typically are present for 5-10 days. These bumps are not acne ( no puss), but when touched with a fingernail i feel like i'm touching raw flesh. I am curious if a micro-bug could be the problem. I have felt like bedbugs or something are biteing me at night but there is nothing visible.
My sister and her son has these pimple like bump on there arms and their legs. She has took the baby to the hospital and they tried to say that it was scabies. They have been treated many times and the doctors seems not to no what it is. This has been going on for 6 months for the mother and now her son is starting the get the bumps too. She has treated her house and people come over and inspected the house and the results were negative.

Stray cat in neighborhood, three houses know about the cat, no one knows whose it it. Yesterday, I was able to get close to the cat, and am worried about blue bumps in her ears. She is female, young, very nice, very skinny (but her tummy was full), and does not mind her ears being touched (on the outside). I thought her ears were just dirty, but it looked like mold, blue bumps all over. I have no idea what it is, what to do, or where to take her.
For three months, my husband and I have had itchy red bumps on our skin - arms, legs, and back mostly. They will go away but then recur within a couple of days or so. We treated for scabies (October 9 and then the following week) as per our family physician, but that didn't seem to work. We have a new hot tub and soaked in it every day for two months for 40 minutes each night. Could that be part or all of the problem? Thank you for any help you can give us.
I do have constant thoughts of bugs crawling on my skin. The thoughts get worse and worse. First it was bugs excreting frm my skin now the bugs are more violent and are now ripping my skin open and eating my skin. Like I stated before I dont ever see anything. It's just when my mind is idle I get thoughts and images in my head of this happening. I am at my wits end. It is like i am having nightmares while I am awake.
I notice small bumps on my arms and legs, and the itch won't go away even after I have scratched the skin right off. Now my neck has become so bad that i wake up each morning with fresh areas of skin scratched raw. It is spreading to my jaw area, and my skin feels super tight. Also, the skin above my eyes and below my eyebrows has become flaky.
I have always noticed that they travel by contact. For example, I did not have any bumps on my face for at least 3 months. I had touched my face at one point and it traveled the next day. At one point I took sulfur showers as recommended by the doctor and it seemed to slow the disease but not stop it. The doctor prescribed me Lindane and it stopped all the sores on my body for maybe 2 days. The bumps create discolored scar tissue. They take a long time to heal.
when i was getting ready for bed, i notice my entire left leg (and spotting on my right) was covered in red bumps. some of them have heads, almost like pimples or zits. Also, this might have something to do with it, but whenever i get cuts, scrapes, and scratch my mosquito bits till they open, the scars never fade. and it takes them forever to heal. i dont have dry skin at all, and my legs almost look lik rash spots. i'm kinda scared. Could i have parasites or something?
Becasue I had developed some bumps on my legs that were very itchy. Since then though, I feel like things are crawling on me and I am very afraid that it could be parasites. I have been doing some research for the past few days and there are many different parasites that could affect us. I know it's very disturbing to consider this as an option, but according to some of the web-sites I've vistited (including WebMD) it is very common.
But then out of nowhere i felt an itch, i started to scratch it then damn it grew again but now they were on my arms. My skin started to form blood dots on my skin and rashes too. I put alot of alcohol then the itch stopped for a while. I bought anti histamine that night and took one. The itch never came back. But the morning I wake up, i got big bruises all over my thighs.
Three days ago I started feeling like whatever this was is now in my skin (I'm certain of it), It's under the skin on my face, my scalp, my back, my toes, and my feet. I can feel it crawling in and out of my anus at times also. Went to the dermatoligist today and of couse he says it's my imagination, some people get it. He's subscribed me some DEXEPIN for depression. :( Funny thing is I'm not depressed, my life was quite good until this bug showed up.
It is an extremely common benign condition that manifests as small, rough folliculocentric keratotic papules, often described as chicken bumps, chicken skin, or goose bumps, in characteristic areas of the body, particularly the outer-upper arms and thighs.” Source: http://www.emedicine.com/derm/topic211.htm In short keratosis pilaris is not something infectious. In some cases, this may resolve spontaneously as one gets older. In some, there is a tendency for keratosis pilaris to persist.
These bumps appear at anytime and look like mosquito bites and itch terribly. They started on my stomach, then moved to my shoulders and back. The bumps then appeared on my arms and now on my legs and back to my stomach. Very weird to say the least. I have been using white vinegar to ease the itch which seems to work temporarily. I am also taking Benadryl. After a week or so, the bumps form a scab and that scab lasts for months!
Hi The symptoms of itch associated with a feeling like a bug underneath the skin may be due to causes like insect/bug bites, skin conditions like scabies or due to cocaine dependence (cocaine bugs- a sensation of insects/bugs crawling under the skin with or without a skin itch is seen as a withdrawal symptom in cocaine dependence).
Been off Vorconazole for almost two months, and have severe muscle atrophy, very irregular and high heartrate, swelling in all of my joints, and these painfull bumps on fingers, and it seems the tissue on my fingers inside is litterly dissepering, its just skin, my skin everywhere has lost elestin, lips have been also falling apart for months, feeling of pressure/dizzyness in am, and felling of pressure under my eyes, as well as droopy eyelids, numbness of hands and feet, and trouble breething
Upon initial pruritus the burrows appear as small, barely noticeable bumps on the hands and may be slightly shiny and dark in color rather than red. Initially the itching may not exactly correlate to the location of these bumps.
I have started feeling like there is something crawling under my skin.. I first felt it on my arms now my face around my lips and eyebrows. I have started pulling my eyebrows out and when I look at the tips I see a clear hard buildup of some sort. My back itches/ feels like something is crawling on my legs, face and arms. He got it between his legs and on the scrotum, as well as 2 neat lines on the sides of his body where the leash made contact when he pulled. The skin on his scrotum looked very dry, wrinkly and crusty, like the skin on my right hand, between the fingers. He had to endure 3 weeks of getting large amounts of fungal cream smeared on his family jewels and ticklish sides, but it completely cured him.
Your veterinarian can take skin scrapings to examine under the microscope for parasites and for skin infection. If skin infection is present, it is treated with antibiotics for 3-4 weeks and mild antibacterial shampoos.
6) Stomach pain - Comes and goes. 7) Kidney pain - Comes and goes. 8) Tongue bumps - Way inside on top of my tongue I saw several bumps(like tiny mountains). It does not hurt and its supressing. She had started life as a street dog and even at such a young age she was infested with parasites etc and not in a good way. After vet care and lots of love she has grown up into an amazing loving dog. However she has been battling with allergies ever since I've had her.
Hi, Itchy rash which has a history of appearing on and off is usually due to an allergic reaction. The pathological reaction that takes place on your skin due to foreign particles is considered as allergy rash. When an irritant comes into contact with your body, your immune system sends chemicals, mainly histamine, to fight it. The sudden spike in histamine levels can cause an outbreak of rash in the upper layers of the skin.
About a week ago i noticed small red bumps on my stomach and as the days went by it started spreading all over my body. There are no bumps on my legs or face though. I only have a few on my lower arms and like 3 bumps on my neck. But my torso and lower back are covered with them. The weird thing is that they don't itch at all!! I been checking all different websites and question from people but all their bumps itch really bad, so it really doesn't help me out too much.
