Bumps on chest

Common Questions and Answers about Bumps on chest

Okay, so I was on acutane this past summer (2007) and was out in the sun a little to long (probably way to long) and got a really bad sunburn on my chest. The burn was awful and itched terribly, I also had an itchy rash on my chest from this burn. To treat the itchiness I used cortizone cream and applied a lot of aloe to ease the burn. The burn eventually went away however I still have tiny bumps on my chest that itch sometimes. What does this mean? Is it skin cancer? It's freaking me out!
Hello, I have these pimple like bumps on my chest. They are the same color as my skin. I've tried to like pop them, but they don't pop very easily. Sometimes they just wont. When they do, however, it's like yellow string that comes out. These are just bringing me down confidence wise. Can anyone help?
There are these bumps on my chest that have been around since December. They sort of diminished; however, just recently they came back, and they are spreading. There's not much I can say about them, except they are not acne. I've tried acne medicine, and I have had no luck. also, after walking the dogs in the morning, they seem to itch. For the last 4 months I have had developing bumps on my chest . The don't want to go away or even heal. They are all in a perfect triangle on my chest the biggest was the first and then a couple others appeared later. They are all raised and they don't hurt to touch and some of the skin is more shiny in that area. I wonder if they are some sort of melanoma any suggestions would be appreciated.
Starting about 4 years ago I started having these small bumps on my chest. In the last year or so the number of them has doubled, they don't itch, burn or bother me at all besides the look of them, and they just make me self-conscious in the summer and such. a few months ago I went in to see a dermatologist, and he took one of them out, basically I was told that they were cysts of some sort, and he gave me some deflammatory cream, and thats it.
Hi, I have a question about these red bumps i have on my chest, there's three and I'm really not sure what they are. I've had them for at least a few years. any ideas?
I've been experiencing " thumps " in my chest on occasion. It doesn't really hurt, but it does concern me. It happens sometimes when I'm standing, sitting or lying down. Usually when reclining. Have had full check ups, and I'm told I'm normal. once in a while I do get a sharp pain in the chest area as well, but not as often anyone have answers. I'm a 64 yr old male.
in the last two days i have noticed a bunch of red bumps/spots (all pretty small) on my chest. as of right now they do not itch at all but it still puzzles me. i have had skin problems in the past... i cant remember the name but i had small blister like things on my hands and feet. mostly during the summertime. anyway, i figure it must be some form of folliculitis. any ideas? thanks in advance.
oh yeah to the guy who wrote the reply, i dont think she was talking about blisters
I'm 20 years old and noticed this since I was about 17 years old. I have several bumps on my chest that do not itch or hurt or bother me at all. I've gone to the dermatologist once to have it examined and she ended up saying to leave it and see if it goes away and she also squeezed some and out came long strands of oil or hard pus.
I have an appointment on wednesday to see a dermatologist about multiple small bumps on my chest and a line running down to my belly button. I'm wondering should i be worried about it, the bumps are relatively small and skin toned. I'm thinking maybe a bad case of acne, since i had a case when i was a teen but since my face been clear for years. For every once in a while, a distance apart a pimple will form but gone after 2-4 days. Hope you can help...this appointment determines a lot.
Dear doctors, I've had some raised, dark acne-like bumps on my chest for almost a year. They don't appear to be filled with anything and are fairly solid. Have you encountered anything like this before? It is worrisome because it doesn't go away like acne spots. I have small white bumps on my upper chest, neck, behind my ears, and tops of my shoulders. They come and go and I have treaded it with steroid creams and ketoconozal. While I was taking the ketoconozal I had no bumps but once I stopped the medication the bumps returned. I have been to a dermatologist and a GP with no help. I was initially being treated for a topical dermatitis under my arms that has cleared up.
I am a 25 years old male who have bumps on my chest, arms, area near armpits, and thighs. I think the first bump appears when I was ~18-20. Since then more and more bumps accumulate, and they don't go away. They do not hurt when they are not inflamed (, which could occasionally happen naturally or if I scratch them too much).
I have bumps on my chest. I had them for quite a few years, they don't hurt nor itch. They're skim color, some of them have liquid coming out if I squeeze. But they are not going away....
I haven't thought twice as to whether or not the bumps that I have recently developed are do to medication. However, these are little bumps, not pimples that are somewhat hard on the back of my hands, forearm and chest. Have you heard of such a side effect? I am a 19 year old female that is healthy. I am on 5mg of Paxil and 450mg of Wellbutrin SR. I was increased by 150mg of wellbutrin around a month ago. any thoughts?
I am a woman in my mid 50's and I have these small bump on my chest in between my breasts, and now I'm getting them under my breasts. I also have small raised bumps. Do you know what they can be, or how I can get rid of them, ther're also on my neck.
Hey a couple of months ago i started noticing real little bumps on my pubic area on the shaft. Fearing the worst i talked with a nurse and had a std test done. She was sure that i didnt have symptoms for a std but i did the test anyway. It came back negative. I talked with a friend and she said it was a heat rash and talking with the nurse she said it might be a tropical rash as well. I have been putting lotion on the area do u have any suggestions ??
He is on a waiting list for a doctor and therefore cannot be recommended to a dermatologist. Most of the bumps are on his chest, arms and neck. He is now to the point where he is quite embarassed by his skin condition. His face also appears very red and blotchy at times. any idea what this could be or if there is "over the counter" treatment for him? If not, is there any other way of seeing a demeratologist without having a family doctor? Thank you in advance.
about a week ago my friend and I were hiding in a bush, then a couple days later when we went swimmming together, I told him that i got these oval shaped red dry spots all over my back and chest and one or two on my neck what are they because these are very sensitive and itchy! He has them too, we did not do anything in the bush but sitting down.
Hi, No idea what this is -- but recently noticed that there were tons (like maybe 300-400) 'raised' bumps on chest. Reason didn't notice it before was because they are close to the skin color, and you can only really notice them when you look at them at an angle. any idea what that is, and how to get rid of it? Incidentally, there also seem to be a bunch of tiny brown spots that also seem to be spreading at maybe a rate of 4-5/week. Thanks.
