I have had bumps under my arms for a few months now. I don't have health insurance and cannot afford to see a doctor. The bumps started under one arm and eventually spread to the other. They are red, tender and vary in size. Some have whiteheads like a pimple, but they do not feel or act like zits. The white is deeper, farther under the skin. Some have spread back to where my arm and back meet, and down to where my bra sits.
It tends to occur on areas of the body where skin touches skin, such as under the breasts, on the inner thighs, and under the arms. Tiny red spots with itching and pricking sensation are the characteristic appearance of this rash. Avoid using any lotions and creams for the meantime. Use a mild cleanser with moisturizing properties like Cetaphil. Also use cotton clothes and change the clothes twice if there is any increased sweating. Try keeping the skin free of sweat as far as possible.
I have had little red bumps on my arms for over a year, the dr gave me some med for the scalp and told me to put it one every night. I did this 10 times or more and it never worked. They get better and I think It's gone, but it's back now worse than ever.
I have these red bumps that look like bug bites that are under the skin which are warm to the touch and tender if you press on them, but itch on the surface. If you squeeze one of them, they excrete a clear liquid. Eventually, they flatten out and turn into sores that itch insanely. I have them on my arms, legs, one side of my temple, and hands. I even have them on my stomach and underarms.
Hi I get white, itchy bumps on my skin around the wrist and on the upper arms particularly while or just after exercising however there are times, mostly when in bed, that I get itchy all over my legs, buttocks, belly, back and arms. I have had them for a while and tried many different treatments to no avail. The best so far was a treatment for scabies but it was't a permanent fix and the itch came back after about a week both times that I tried.
Within a day or so started getting really itchy bumps on the side of my elbow, back of arms, forearms and inside bicep and somewhat minor irritation under armpits and down rib cage (not so bad along rib cage) I thought it was a heat rash or something so i kinda just let it go for a few days ( scratching of course took place).. as the days went by it seemed to get worse and more red spots and itchiness...
I am a 51 year old female with lumps/bumps on my legs and arms. They vary in size, are painful when they first come out--and then they are just uncomfortable. Heat seems to make them worse.
I am 42 and I do have a history of acne but not on my thighs or under my arms. Any ideas what might be going on here?
My dad has large bumps under his skin on his back. They have been there for years and when my mom squeezes them yellowish white stuff comes out and it stinks very badly. He says they hurt but after she squeezes the stuff out it quits hurting but it always comes back. I was wondering what this could be.
For about 6 years I have had constant bumps on my arms and legs. Some are ingrown hairs, others are more like pimples or clogged pores. A few areas are worse than others, but all are fairly bad. I have tried exfoliating and moisturizing regularly (I use Aveeno typically), but nothing seems to work. I do have mildly dry skin, but as I said, I moisturize fairly regularly and strangely do not have any significant problems with acne on my face.
Sometimes they even itch, and have some sort of weird smell. Thus, when penis is erected, and skin is pulled, the under the skin bumps are not visible. Despite the doctors recommendations, I still cant sleep at night knowing that I have something none knows what it is.It even looks like to me that every time new warts appear from one of these tiny ones from under the skin. I tested for HIV, hpv all sexually transmitted disease, the results thank god came back negative.

Hi, I've been noticing at least 4-5 small hard masses on one arm and 3 on the other arm. On one arm there is a pea sized (largest) one just below the skin and it's slightly painful to touch. Should I consult a doctor or would it just waste their time?
I am a 25 years old male who have bumps on my chest, arms, area near armpits, and thighs. I think the first bump appears when I was ~18-20. Since then more and more bumps accumulate, and they don't go away. They do not hurt when they are not inflamed (, which could occasionally happen naturally or if I scratch them too much).
Hi I'm nineteen years old. I have these red itchy bumps mostly on my legs, feet, and arms. I have had them for 8 months now. The doctor told me that I had mono, however these bumps keep returning. The doctor said they shouldn't have returned, and now they are saying they don't know what it is. It's really itching and they keep returning. I dont know what it is.
Another differential is keratosis pilaris which may present as white pigmentations on the skin especially behind the arms .They may have a sand paper feel on them when you run your hand on the affected surface. This does not sound serious. Just continue to observe this. It is necessary to rule out vitiligo here which is a stark white well demarcated patch of skin usually appearing symmetrically. At this point, I do not think this is your case.
Keratosis pilaris occurs when the human body produces excess keratin, a natural protein in the skin and is manifested by the appearance of rough bumps on the skin like goose bumps which makes it to be called as chicken skin. Treatment includes tretinoin or Triamcinolone cream or Adapalene, a retinoid medication. Exfoliation, intensive moisturizing creams, creams and lotions containing alpha hydroxy acids and urea may be used to temporarily improve the appearance and texture of affected skin.
At times I cannot help but scratch it. My legs and arms feel like they have millions of little blisters under the skin - what is it??
I have red bumps, on my arms, back, and legs, and chest. They itch, I have been working out latley, and sweating. Is something I should be concerned about.
If broken, they produce a sticky clear-yellowish substance that dries hard and waxy again, but does not seem to wash off. The bumps on my arms and chest have stayed the same over the 5 months, on the other hand, the bumps on my beard have spread from chin, to sideburns, cheeks, eyebrows, around the nose and scalp. I notice these bumps seem to appear more if I do not shave my face.
well i have white bumps on the high part of my arm that are spreading lower and lower even on my chest and on my legs and even on my neck and under chin too now and i've been to doctors and they said it was keratin thats not escaping from under the skin and they gave me some cream to treat it after about 2 or 3 days of using it i broke out in hives and a rash so i stopped using it and am very confused why its spreading and if you try to pop them white stuff could( be keratin) that looks like wh
