Avatar n tn s a little better now....Last year he did take budesonide mixed with splenda and a tiny bit of water orally for several months (on top of the Flovent), but it didn't appear to do much, and he would gag on it every time. Maybe it did help, but as every dose was a battle we just didn't last with it for very long.
Avatar f tn This means that the body has a bit more time to deal with the rise in blood sugar. Also bear in mind Splenda makes a sugar blend and a brown sugar blend. Yes, these Splenda products contain sugar, ½ tsp = 2 grams (Seven grams equals one heaping Tablespoon of sugar). When buying pre-made retail products its a good idea to always ask what Splenda "they" are using.
Avatar n tn I am regularly using Ventloin, Fomertrol+budesonide and Motelukast+LC. The only problem is breathlessness arising from throat tightness. I never wheeze in the life. The throat tightness is getting reduced when i take Ventolin. The doctor say i don't have to take ventolin beacause Fomertrol+budesonide and Motelukast+LC. will prevent the difficulty. But only medicines which seems to be working is Ventolin and Motelukast+LC.

Avatar n tn This morning i woke up with a substantial pain in my left elbow. when extended it doesn't really hurt to bad, however when I bend it, it is quite painful. I am assuming i must have slept on it in a weird way or something. Possibly with it bent up against my chest and then maybe i rolled on top of it. I am not sure what this means I don't know if i may have hyperextended it in some way or what can be done to help it. If anyone has any advice it would be much appreciated.

Avatar f tn I've recently been diagnosed with asthma and was prescribed ventolin and budesonide inhalers. After a few days of suffering side effects and getting much worse I went back to the doctor and he confirmed that I am allergic to budesonide, which he said is quite unusual. He prescribed me atrovent but from what I understand it is usually a substitute for ventolin not steroids.
Avatar f tn Budesonide is the generic name, i am on Entocort with contains budesonide, because budesonide is not sold generically in the state of new jersey. I have been on it for about 3 months now, but I was also on it for quite awhile a few years ago. I have never had anything but success with it. there are no side effects. I will be on it for another 2 months and my dr plans to take me off of it.
Avatar f tn Now that you are pregnant I don't think that you need or should cut back on calories like sugar. White refined sugar is not great but you can use the natural or brown sugar that is better absorbed and digested. I'd say go natural, if you don't know or aren't sure with Splenda then go natural, its always safe. Splenda is made from sugar BUT by no means is sugar.
Avatar f tn Does anyone know if it is ok to use splenda (sucralose). I'm being kind of paranoid.

341551 tn?1266980730 Yea I've heard that too, I'm just really nervous. I used Splenda in my Coffee and Tea when I was Pregnant last time and I ended up M/C. My doctor said it had nothing to do with that but I can't help think that maybe if I watched what I put in my body...ya know? I mean I did but there were like little things like Splenda, Caffeine, Deli Meats..stuff like that, that I ate every now and than.
Avatar m tn I have mentioned it to my doctor, and get the hairy eyeball, but after searching the web I found others had the same reaction to splenda, so it offered me some comfort. We have now switched to 1mg of Budesonide a day to help with the inflammation and to try and bring the diabetes under control, we are giving our cat 1cc of insulin a day and we have switched his diet to Nature's Variety Instinct brand of cat food in the rabbit formulation.
Avatar m tn I also suffer horribly with intestinal issues when I ingest sucralose. I have to read every single cough medicine, cough drop and yogurt label to make sure I am not eating something that has it. They put it in everything! It causes severe discomfort to me and probably to the people around me, to put it nicely. I have the same reaction to Stevia. Both products are touted as "safer" than saccharin or aspartame but those don't make me sick.
