You are not a horrible mom at all!!!! If only, more people cared as much about cats as you do, the world would be a better place. I think you're just feeling very overwhelmed right now dealing with meds. We've all been there.....Our kitties don't know what's best for them, WE do. They hate meds and God forbid, something tastes awful(everything makes them foam at the mouth). We've had cats that have foamed at the mouth from trying to eat a moth.

I am regularly using Ventloin, Fomertrol+budesonide and Motelukast+LC. The only problem is breathlessness arising from throat tightness. I never wheeze in the life. The throat tightness is getting reduced when i take Ventolin. The doctor say i don't have to take ventolin beacause Fomertrol+budesonide and Motelukast+LC. will prevent the difficulty. But only medicines which seems to be working is Ventolin and Motelukast+LC.

I had a month or so on Entecort (budesonide here in England) but had a severe rectal haemorrhage and was hospitalised on IV steroids and needed blood transfusions. I don't think my gastro in England, who prescribed it, at the time realised that Entecort only works in the small intestine, and I had Pan Crohn's Colitis. As I had stopped prednisone to go onto budesonide, I had no protection in the colon, hence the flare.

I've recently been diagnosed with asthma and was prescribed ventolin and budesonide inhalers. After a few days of suffering side effects and getting much worse I went back to the doctor and he confirmed that I am allergic to budesonide, which he said is quite unusual. He prescribed me atrovent but from what I understand it is usually a substitute for ventolin not steroids.

Budesonide is the generic name, i am on Entocort with contains budesonide, because budesonide is not sold generically in the state of new jersey. I have been on it for about 3 months now, but I was also on it for quite awhile a few years ago. I have never had anything but success with it. there are no side effects. I will be on it for another 2 months and my dr plans to take me off of it.

Over that period I have tried different combinations of Prednisolone, Budesonide, Salazopyrin, Singulair and Colpermin, all with limited success. Presently, I am taking Budesonide (9mg daily) and Salazopyrin (150mg daily). Whilst this allows me to function normally (i.e. normal bowel movements) I have discomfort, bloating and cramping all day, every day. Has anybody ever come through this disease to lead a normal life, or has anyone treated a patient that has done so?

t take any form of drugs. and do not smoke, do not drink and I am a vegetarian. Yes I am inhaling Budesonide Powder to tackle with chronic cough issue. Is it the reason then ? Thank you doctor for your reply and suggestion.

I have a dog with IBD and he takes a compounded steroid called Budesonide everyday plus an enzyme supplement called Prozyme and stays on a strict diet of a fish and pot dry kibble. He still flares up every few months with bloody diarrhea which then we start up sulfasalazine 3 times a day which usually calms things down within a few days and after a week or 2 he's back on track.

He has been on budesonide for 4 weeks with no results. He also takes esomeprazole with no results. When she did the cameraoscopy she saw what she called white fuzz at the beginning of lower intestines. We did a round of fungal meds. No results. Can anyone help please.

Hi granma, Your cat may also need some medication for her IBS. My cat takes Budesonide in liquid form everyday. She has the other problem of constipation, but I give her miralax. Ask your vet if the Budesonide would be indicated for this condition...I think she sounds like it is pancreatitis or Irritable Bowel. Fairly common in cats. My cat is also on Hills Z/D food only. I know some do not favor this food but it works for my cat along with the Busesonide....so I am a believer.

5 mg per day - supplemented by ceretide(similar to advair) 500 - 2 puffs in the morn and 1 at night - and budesonide 160 micrograms - 2 puffs once a day. The thing with oral steroids is that the get absorbed in the body and have been adversely affecting me. I need to get off it, but every time I try to reduce the dosage my asthma tends to get worse. Can anyone offer me any advice regarding this matter?

Does Symbicort 80/4.5 (budesonide 80 mcg and formoterol fumarate dihydrate 4.5 mcg) Inhalation Aerosol effect the eyes? Does it raise the interocular pressure if used with known glaucoma? Do you mean condoms and foam, or just foam? I don't think the foam alone is said to be very effective. It used to be said that condoms and foam together were as effective as the pill.

If someone has passed away and exhibited these signs the safest thing to do is wait until the death certificate is issued which is usually within 6 weeks or less and look for the cause of death that was signed by a doc in the lower boxes on the cert. Usually if there is foam and blood it is usually pulmonary related however its a pretty common occurance that when people die to foam at the mouth....the blood however is not common...........sorry for your loss.......................

just buy a thing of foam soap at the store (like the dollar store) but make sure you can unscrew the top. You need to be able to unscrew it and then screw it back on. After the soap runs out, dont throw the container away. Use it and fill it like I told you.

Me and my boyfriend were having sex and I he stopped and noticed white foam, I have had it creamy before but never foam like this.

I did CT scan with dye last year from then mybbladder always hurt, did many tests with urologist and pcp. No findings. Recently I see some foam in urine. Blood work and Spot ACR testing is normal. Followed withb24 hr test. Not sure if urine foam is caused any bladder or prostate issues. But no infection found in any lab work or dipstick testing. Any inputs helpful.

i'd go for the memory foam too... BUT! just a warning, memory foam can be VERY firm!!! so, i'd say try it out if possible first!!!

Are memory mattrasses a lot better than ordinary foam mattrasses for reducing waking up with a stiff and sore back in the morning ?

One of the newer suggestions is the use of orally ingested budesonide. You may want to check with your doctor.

My 3 year old daughter gets bad colds with coughing and slight weezing atleast 3 or 4 times out of the year. Her doctor has always perscribed albuterol and budesonide through a nebulizer. This time around when I took her he added Singulair and Prednisolone. He hasn't actually diagnosed her with asthma but her father and uncle both have it. Could she be getting it also and what kind of test should she get to see if she has asthma. Any suggestions would really help.
