You should have another follow-up x-ray, now. The prescription of Symbicort® (budesonide/formoterol fumarate dehydrate) Inhalation Aerosol does not mean you have asthma. It only means that your doctor suspects that you might have it.

I am regularly using Ventloin, Fomertrol+budesonide and Motelukast+LC. The only problem is breathlessness arising from throat tightness. I never wheeze in the life. The throat tightness is getting reduced when i take Ventolin. The doctor say i don't have to take ventolin beacause Fomertrol+budesonide and Motelukast+LC. will prevent the difficulty. But only medicines which seems to be working is Ventolin and Motelukast+LC.
I had a month or so on Entecort (budesonide here in England) but had a severe rectal haemorrhage and was hospitalised on IV steroids and needed blood transfusions. I don't think my gastro in England, who prescribed it, at the time realised that Entecort only works in the small intestine, and I had Pan Crohn's Colitis. As I had stopped prednisone to go onto budesonide, I had no protection in the colon, hence the flare.
I try to work only with products and acrylic paints labeled “non toxic”. I used to prime with aerosol paint cans in my back yard, but gave this up, along with using other known toxins, a few years ago. But I still had maybe 20 old aerosol cans stored in the basement. I've recently been diagnosed with asthma and was prescribed ventolin and budesonide inhalers. After a few days of suffering side effects and getting much worse I went back to the doctor and he confirmed that I am allergic to budesonide, which he said is quite unusual. He prescribed me atrovent but from what I understand it is usually a substitute for ventolin not steroids.
Budesonide is the generic name, i am on Entocort with contains budesonide, because budesonide is not sold generically in the state of new jersey.
I have been on it for about 3 months now, but I was also on it for quite awhile a few years ago. I have never had anything but success with it. there are no side effects. I will be on it for another 2 months and my dr plans to take me off of it.
Over that period I have tried different combinations of Prednisolone, Budesonide, Salazopyrin, Singulair and Colpermin, all with limited success.
Presently, I am taking Budesonide (9mg daily) and Salazopyrin (150mg daily). Whilst this allows me to function normally (i.e. normal bowel movements) I have discomfort, bloating and cramping all day, every day.
Has anybody ever come through this disease to lead a normal life, or has anyone treated a patient that has done so?
You are correct in wanting to wait until you have achieved optimum benefit from the Advair® HFA (fluticasone propionate and salmeterol) Inhalation Aerosol, before any consideration of oxygen use. The Advair® HFA (fluticasone propionate and salmeterol) Inhalation Aerosol may raise your saturation, to a degree that will make oxygen use unnecessary.
I agree with you, it is rather disgusting to have people (anyone) cough in your face. While it is disgusting however there is no risk of HIV from the aerosol exposure you experienced. Even if he was somehow infected with HIV or hepatitis, these infections have never been transmitted by cough/aerosol.

however, the area to be wrapped would usually use spray with an aerosol that would turn your skin kind of a sick yellow. This spray made the skin “stickier”, I’m guessing, to make the wrap hold better. I’m filling out a health report that asks the question about allergies. I am allergic to cats, dogs (and pretty much all furred animals), dust, dust mites, feathers, aerosol sprays, perfumes, any small particle stuff like that. I also get wheezy when I exercize. I heard that some hidden symptoms of allergies can be depression, diarehha, frequent urination and other symptoms I have been experiencing. I don't know whether I should treat those things separately or try to figure out if it's allergies first. How do I go about doing that?

I have a dog with IBD and he takes a compounded steroid called Budesonide everyday plus an enzyme supplement called Prozyme and stays on a strict diet of a fish and pot dry kibble. He still flares up every few months with bloody diarrhea which then we start up sulfasalazine 3 times a day which usually calms things down within a few days and after a week or 2 he's back on track.
He has been on budesonide for 4 weeks with no results. He also takes esomeprazole with no results. When she did the cameraoscopy she saw what she called white fuzz at the beginning of lower intestines. We did a round of fungal meds. No results. Can anyone help please.

Your cat may also need some medication for her IBS. My cat takes Budesonide in liquid form everyday. She has the other problem of constipation, but I give her miralax. Ask your vet if the Budesonide would be indicated for this condition...I think she sounds like it is pancreatitis or Irritable Bowel. Fairly common in cats. My cat is also on Hills Z/D food only.
I know some do not favor this food but it works for my cat along with the Busesonide....so I am a believer.
Please help! I have had this problem with aerosols and solvents a couple years now. Every time an aerosol is sprayed around me it's like I inhale it and I can't stop. I don't want to do it just my breathing gets much bigger and I think I get stoned. I just hope I don't. What's wrong with me? I get a headache and nausea after this happens, please help me the best way u can.
5 mg per day - supplemented by ceretide(similar to advair) 500 - 2 puffs in the morn and 1 at night - and budesonide 160 micrograms - 2 puffs once a day. The thing with oral steroids is that the get absorbed in the body and have been adversely affecting me. I need to get off it, but every time I try to reduce the dosage my asthma tends to get worse. Can anyone offer me any advice regarding this matter?
