First, you have to find an anti-depressant that works for you. Some work for some people while others don't. HI, My mother was prescribed Selegiline after some routine blood/urine tests. I found that the drug is MAOI and specifically prescribed for Parkinson's and at times Alzeimer's early onset. I have been on this combination for 6+ years and doing pretty well with them. In May 2008 I was started on Toprol XL 25 mg.
