First off... Hi everyone and thanks for making such a great site! My aunt's doctor gave her Budeprion SR 150 mg to help quit smoking. A friend of her's told her that you're not supposed to take it, if you take any medications for diabetes. She does take a pill (not sure which and didn't think to ask her) for her diabetes and I told her I'd try to find out if it could cause any problems.

My husband was taking Wellbutrin sr 150 the doctor upped him to 200 sr and they gave him buprion 200 sr(on the bottle it says just Bupr). He had lots of energy on the Wellbutrin sr150 and was a pleasure to be arounds, but on this 200 buprionsr he goes to sleep and is like snappen at me all the time. After reading some of these questions I am worried that things are going to go back to the way they were before he started taking his meds.

I have just begun taking Budeprion SR. 150 milligrams a day. The paper the pharmacy gave me said to contact a dr immediately if I got a sore throat. I have a sore throat, and I want to know if I need to stop taking the medication. On another website, throat irriatation is listed as a rare side effect. I called my dr, and the nurse looked it up and said that sore throat was listed as a side effect. So, I am confused. Should I stop taking the medication? Is this a dangerous side effect?

Budeprion XL 300 mg was a nightmare for me. more anxiety more depression more insomnia more headaches more weight loss (which i liked!) more powerful in quitting smoking (which it did successfully do). I've taken Watson's generic.. It made my hair fall out.

I have dropped 3 lbs already and am looking forward to another 20 pounds. I was on amitriptiline for 7 years and I am also taking 10-20 mg just for a week till the budeprion kicks in and then I will be off of amitriptiline. That was a real weight gainer medicine, I would have never gained 30 pounds if I had never been on that stuff. It was a good medicine if it was for the weight gain. I felt good on it and it helped me sleep.

Is anyone getting ringing in the ears from taking Generic Wellbutrin(Bupropion sr ) 150 mg. Here is my situation I have been on amitriptiline 25 mg 4 years then went up to 50 mg for 3 years. I started taking only one 150 mg of bupropion sr this is my 5 day. Can I stop taking the amitriptiline with no withdrawls after only 5 days of Bupropion? or has it not been long enough. I hoping that I can stop the amitriptiline by taking the bupropion sr in place of the amitriptiline.

Are there any antidepressants that will make me more alert rather than sleepy and tired? This has been my experience with all the drugs I've tried so far. Budeprion being the last one and the worse cause it makes me so sleepy and lethargic, yeah too often I find myself sitting there as if lifeless, staring into space, feeling like a rock with no feelings or emotions...Are there any drugs that will give me more pep and energy instead of making me just wanna stay in bed all day?

my hormones were low so dr put me on hormone pills and thyroid pills,i haad been on wellbutrin sr about 1 year 300 mg to counteract sexual side effects from prozac,it didnt help though,so my dr changed me from 300 wellbutrin sr to 450 mg xl,tonight for the first time in ages i feel kind of dizzy..ondering if it might be to high of a change over on the wllbutrin,,hoping after prozac is out of system i will have a sex drive any info would help or has anyone switched from the sr to the xl?

nortriptylene, however, they were not good for concentration! I noticed that other people take higher doses of Wellbutrin150 mg in the morning and 150 mg evening! I tried Wellbutrin awhile back and they certainly didn't make me tired in fact it was the opposite! That is why I am wondering if I am on too low a dose, although you say it maybe too high! I am definitely going to try them at night ... makes sense if I am tired after I take one..and start feeling better early evening!

So I take it at 7 am and then at 3 pm to ward of that awful LOW feeling later. 150 mg each time. Total 300 mg for the 24 hrs. Hope this works.

About two weeks into my new Wellbutrin regimen (150 mg. SR added to my nightly dose of 33 mg. Remeron), I developed a pretty intense bout of heartburn. This heartburn has stayed with for most of the entire past week-and-a-half, and I've recently added a daily Prilosec to my cocktail, which clears up the problem almost entirely. I'm getting ready to bump my dose up to a second WB 150 SR daily, and am worried about this heartburn issue, as I seem to really be responding to this drug.

I kept having tingling in my body the last few days so dr stopped the ritalin and put me back on 30 mg of prozac along with the wellbutrin sr and my xaanx..

I am taking Wellbutrin SR 300Mg, 200 mg. Zoloft. and 50 mg. Trazodone daily, Do you think these doses are too high? Just started taking the Wellbutrin Sr 2 weeks ago, and feel so much better....

Last week my psychiatrist increased my Budeprion SR (generic Wellbutrin) from 300mg daily to 450mg daily. I got the script filled but when I got home and thought about it, I checked to see what is the max recommended dosage... It's 400mg daily. I've been afraid to take that much, and you're not supposed to cut them in half. Has any one else been on that high a dose of 450mg? Or have you heard of it?

I have been taking Wellbutrin SR 100mg twice a day for about 2 months now. I have not had hair falling out...but that's not a good side effect...and it is not listed as a side effect in any drug book. But there are always side effects they never tell you about. And different ppl react differently. How long have you been on the Wellbutrin before that started happening? It works on another nueral transmitter, dopamine. The differance between SR and XL is one of release time. 300 mgs of SR requires a 150 mg tablet twice a day. XL is one 300 mg tablet once a day. Antidepressants often become ineffective over time. Wellbutrin worked well for me for about 3 years and then it didn't. Adding Remeron helped but everyone is different. Now I'm back to Zoloft which worked very well but left me with no libido.

yesterday blood test has been done. report indicates fasting 105 mg & after food 91 mg. i am taking formin 500 SR tab daily.
