I woke up today with one small dark brown spotting on my undie. The date is one week earlier than my period last month. What is wrong with me? Is it just irregular period? What should i do to make it normal? And no im not on pills! Am i pregnant?

If you dont need to wear a pad and the blood is pink or brown this could be described as spotting,full flow red blood is not classed as spotting. Also sometimes spotting is sometimes literaly just small spots of blood. A HPT is more accurate the day your period is due or the few days after.

I would say it was a normal period. About 2 weeks later I was spotting light brown little clots. I was supposed to get my period 4 weeks later ( 28 days) but it has been 4 days late..what`s wrong? & why was I spotting. The spotting lasted for 5-6 days. HELP! Anyone with advice? THANKS!

a week after on the fist week of August i get a period again but this time its brown. so my question is should i consider that as a period? b/c if i dn't consider that as a period than that means that i didn't ge a period at all this month or i have missed my period. i am very confused this has never happend to me before. i also have another question i have been feeling alot of cramping lately i am not sure if its b/c of ovulation, or implantation , or if i am pregnant.

I totaly agree with you about the docs, some times I think they dont know the real facts because for the past yr my periods have been brown instead of red and for the past 4 months I have been spotting brown every other day and the docs always have the same answer for me after I ask what may be the problem, and that is, "well, it might be from stress or it can be from an infection".

Anway, have been on a particular brand of the contrceptive pill (combind) for 5 months. I am now having period pains and spotting. This period is unlike any of my others, it's brown almost black spoldges randomly,a bit of light brown spotting,then red,then back to brown/black almost coffee coloured. Well usually brown discharge is Old Blood...so it could be left over period blood. Plus your body goes through so many changes when you become pregnant, I wouldn't worry about it. I am on the mini pill this month (and no I am no longer breast feeding) but every 14 days for the last 3 months I have had brown spotting (tmi) around the time of ovulation and it eventually turns into a full blown 6 day, painful period. I had my period over a week ago, it lasted 6 days and ended last monday. My boyfriend and I had unprotected sex that day. so hears what I found out and its correct information girls sometimes your period can start out brown then go normal rather soon after and for those who start brown spot a little and stop that pre-preg bleeding you guys are most likely preg. then the ones who have dark brown or black it should go normal in a few days if not something is wrong and it very well could be a ectopic preg if their is pain because dark dryed blood with pain is the main sign for it.

This is very unusual as I rarely spot in between periods. Can you explain what might have happened??? My Dr. had put me on a clomid challenge test so I will wait till I get a regular flow to begin the medication. Dermatologist (2 of them) tell me it is just from sun damage. I watch them. so if you could help i'd be extremley gratefull. 2 days ago i spotted some light pink/brown on my underwear. i thought it was an early period but it stopped after that,and didn't return untill the next night. just a little more though,slightly more red. not heavy like a period either. then this morning i wiped and it was red/pink. and its not a flow,its just on the occasion. is this like an early messed up period or what? because its really scaring me.

I also get little boyles in between the thighs. so not only is it dark, but scarred w/ dark spots from the boyles. Tell me I'm not alone please.

SO far no weight gain, but I have had an on again off again period, including dark brown spotting, and bright red bleeding. I just turned 6 wks today and have been having brown/dark brown spotting since about 4 1/2 weeks. I have not had any major cramping, just little pinches and pulls here and there. The spotting changes from light brown to very dark brown, and goes from light to heavy and back to light. Today i passed a very small clot about the size of a pencil eraser which was dark brown. My 5 1/2 week appointment showed a sac and a yolk sac, which is normal for that time.
