i repeat do not get yasmin. the brown isnt really old blood its just discharge before your actuall period starts. Not only that but talk to your doctor tomrrow or call your gyn. But listen to me you do not want yasmin!!! ask ur gyn about it!!!

Hi. So Ive been having brown discharge for 2 weeks and Im not sure why. I was on my period right before and after about 5 or 6 days, I notices the blood wasn't red anymore. It had turned brown. I figured this was just old blood and it would only last a few days but Ive been having this brown discharge for 2 weeks. Im not sure if it's maybe from my birth control. I have been taking yaz for almost 2 months and I haven't really had any side affects before.

Hi My daugher came off the BC pill yasmin over 7 months ago, and for the last 6 weeks has experienced a brown vaginal discharge. How normal is this, and will it stop, Also, how long before normal periods return, in order for her to conceive a pregnancy?

I have had no side effects from this pill....so far, i am having brown discharge but this started a little before taking it so there may be another reason for it. I have only been prescribed this pill for three months toregulate my periods. I had the choice of this pill or the injectioj, as I have just got married i chose the three months of being on the pill rather than having an injection that takes longer to leave your system after finishing it.

i got my period on april 18th it was a strange one would bleed a little with also dark brown discharge stop till next day bleed for a little stop again went on for 2-3 days then completely stopped but then for the rest of the month i had period like cramps, ive gotten a bad bloated stomach which seems to get worse anytime i eat, im going toilet more often and i feel so tired and legs can feel so heavy going upstairs.

I do that because I dont like to go to work when I have my period, so by skipping the last 2 pills I start getting a brown discharge on Friday instead of Sunday, and then I have my 2 heavy days of bleeding on saturday and sunday and by monday its light. I'm just wondering if its ok to do that?

I went to see a Doctor and he ran untra sound test on me and fiound that i have PCOD and he advised me to take Yasmin to first regularised my period which i did, I had no problim during the first month of taking it, I started the second month on 22.12.11 and since 30.12.11 i have been spotted lightly, sometimes i have some blood-like discharge, black and brown colour. I am still on the pill as my Doctor told me that it is normal to spot lightly while on the pill.

Yesterday I had light pinkish/red blood when I wiped and some cramping and now I am having light brown discharge that is odorless. I have not missed any pills, and I do have unprotected sex. Could this be because I am just now in the first month of the new pills or could this mean I am pregnant???

Hello, I've recently started taking Yasmin as birth control (I am on my first pack and 3rd week). I've taken Diane 35 in the past before, but I've taken a break between the two pills. I've been experiencing bleeding and thick black discharge but I am not on my period. Is this normal? It looks worrying to me. I am also currently taking roaccutane 20mg a day. Should I continue taking Yasmin or stop mid cycle?

sometimes its very light like the end of a period but other times its light but thick, now its like the end of a period how its brown in colour. I've been taking the yasmin pill for 3months without a break (i was anaemic and the doctor advised me to do so) i got clamydia from my partner and took zithromax (four tablets at once) i was told not to have sexual contact for 7 days. me and my partner then had sex the following week (this was last week) yesterday i had some blood (perhaps spotting) then there was no more blood that day. today i woke up and i had like... a ball of discharge which looked quite gooey and was quite wet.
