brown discharge while on birth control

Can stopping the birth control give you brown discharge of 8 days? and a delayed period?. i have always taken my pills, active and inactive pills every month... but now stopped it the birth control... i have a delayed period... at least 29 to 31 days sincle last brown discharge from the 2nd to the 8th-10th of July... i have regular periods after 21 to 23 days...

I haven't had my cycle since being on nexplanon. I was curious if having brown discharge was normal after taking something to treat it.

So this is my second month on birth control pills. The first month worked great and I got my period as expected and lighter than normal. However, this month my period is VERY light, like minimal brown discharge almost to the extent where nothing is needed to be worn. This discharge is different that my normal discharge so I just want to make sure this is my actual period just extremely light.

I've been on Birth Control for two years but I quit taking the pill on December 11th. It's now been 5 1/2 weeks (40 days) and I haven't yet had a period. Also, my nipples are very sore and hard all the time (but the breasts themselves aren't sore) and one night I had a heavy dark brown discharge after intercourse. Are these symptoms that occur after quitting birth control or could I be pregnant?

I had a longer period than normal about 6 days and i started my next pack of birth control while on my period cause the other one had finished. The last day of my period i got these brown gooey clumps when i pee coming from my vagina everytime i peed. Its a week later now and every so often when i wipe i get that brown gooey discharge.

You should consider going on some form of hormonal birth control, like the pill, if these irregular periods and spotting are bothering you. You should see a gynecologist and discuss your irregular periods, to make sure there isn't anything wrong, but birth control would probably fix it.

I used to have spotting nearly every day of the month on birth control. I couldn't stand it - I tried every kind of pill (Yazmin, now called Yaz I think was the best - I only bled about half to 2/3 the month on that one). Finally I gave up on hormonal birth control and got a paragard copper IUD.

The brown discharge is most likely old blood that took awhile to come out. I get that sometimes. And it's perfectly normal for birth control to affect your body differently after you have a baby. Before I had my first, I was on seasonique and after about 2 years I stayed bleeding through it and had to switch. After she was born, we tried it again and it worked perfectly. It's possible that you don't need as high of a dosage anymore, OR that birth control just isn't right for you.

i been on the nexplanon birth control since december 2015, ive been bleeding for so long, spotting, brown discharge, painful headaches, blood clots , is this normal? im very scared and i need help.

So for about a week now I have had this brown discharge coming out of my vagina. I have never had sex and am on birth control at the moment. Sometimes birth control can cause breakthrough bleeding. I think that if you are only 16 days past your period it could have been bleeding caused by ovulation. If you are taking your pills correctly then you should be pretty safe =) PS I love the pic of you!

I then had weird brown discharge and bleeding that seemed like my period, but it was sort of irregular. I then had diarrhea for a day. Is that normal for all that to occur when coming off the pill?

Im actually on the same birth control but Ive only been on it for a week and a few days I noticed im getting head acks too and its been a little over week since Ive had my period as well and just recently started getting a weird discharge, Also I feel nausiated some times too specially when I try to go eat. This brown discharge is still continuing. And has varied from brown to red, then back to brown. Am I still alright, Is this still a normal side effect?

On a website it says that u can stop ur period for 3 cycles if you chose to do so by continuing to take 4 packs continuously and then taking ur one week break for your period. I'm 7 days before the end of my second pack. Meaning I missed one course. I've been having a very light brown discharge for 2 days so far now. I do have sex without a condom with my bf. The pill if taken correctly is 99% effective. I take it everyday at the same time.
