i am in pre menopause stage. i am aged 45. i spotted brown discharge toay. brown discharge normally stays 5 or 6 days before regular period comes. i am very religious. i do pooja everyday. so should i stop pooja when i see the brown discharge? or continue pooja until i see real period?
however this month i was expecting it to come in february, but instead i only got small portions of brown discharge. again i am not sexually active so i dont understand the cause of this. Is it my old lining coming out? or is there a problem? i am not experiencing any pain or side effects of diseases. Please help! i would really like to understand of this cause.
I had a brown discharge 3 days after my period ended. It was light. All my periods have become lighter lately. I also have the signs of peri-menopause (I am nearly 48). I had a pap & HPV test about 8 months ago and they were fine (3 good in a row). I worry about this brown discharge - is it from menopause? I have no pain or anything. It happened once when I went to the bathroom but has not come back since.
Following the 7 days, I'll have almost a week of brown discharge which includes what appears to be the lining of the uterus. I have varying degrees of abdominal tenderness throughout the month. I had a transvaginal ultrasound in 2002 that confirmed a couple of uterine fibroids and an endometrial biopsy (2002) that was negative. Is this anything I should be concerned about? Thank you in advance for your opinion/advice.
For several months now, at the end of my 7- day long period, I will go several days with a brown discharge, which includes what looks to be the sloughed lining of the uterus. Is this part of perimenopause, or should it be something I should have checked out? I know I have a couple of uterine fibroids as seen on a vaginal ultrasound about 2-3 years ago. I also have alot of abdominal tenderness throughout the month.
I am having dark brown discharge instead of my period. And it's more like spotting. I'm on cycle day 44. Low BBT. Negetive HPT. Has anyone ever experienced this before? Any answers will help. Thanks Ladies.

there may be more discharge at puberty and at menopause than the years in-between. The time to worry about nipple discharge is when it’s spontaneous (comes out by itself without squeezing), keeps on happening, and is only on one side. If it is clear and sticky, like an egg white, or bloody. If this is happening, your daughter should be checked by her doctor. It is unlikely that this is related to her meningitis at age 2.

When I have had a late period or when everything exits my body a little later than normal. But this time it feels like it's lasting longer. I have not been able to smell anything from it (though I haven't directly smelled it). I'm not having pain in my pelvic area, or any burning or itching. I read online that it could be ovulation and it will last a few days. I would say it's been going on at least 4-5 days.
Squeezing the nipple sends message to the brain and the pituitary gland responds by increasing prolactin levels, which in turn produces discharge from the nipple. It was a brown lump surrounded by some blood and clear jelly like substance. I had visited the Gyn earlier in the week and had a full checkup, including an ultrasound, and he did not mention anything abnormal. He did perspective me Metro gel and I have been takin it twice a day. I have taken a round of Metro gel three months ago and this bloody discharge did not happen.
My question is, my last period was the 18th of September so not long ago, I started having brown discharge on Tuesday and today is my 4th straight day having it with little cramping, my period is never normal it's always different every month but I have never had brown discharge for 4 days straight and I have no other symptoms.. It is a lot harder to get pregnant than people think, I always say I am using protection so really there is no way but always a chance.

I am experincing very long heavy periods, sometimes lasting 7-10 days. Lately I started having a dark brown mucous discharge and now my breast are very painful, especially myh left breast. I have a few days before I see my doctor and get my mammagram, but I am concerned. (I had several breast bioposies over 18yrs ago - benign). Do you think that this is related to my periomenopause or some other condition?
First you need to confirm the source of this discharge whether this discharge was vaginal discharge or it was along with the urine. My last regular period was January 2009. In April of 2009 I spotted for 4 days and nothing at all until July 11, 2010 (I spotted brown to a light > spotting > heavy > spotting > regular period > to spotting) to July 23, 2010. I went to my OBGYN and had an Ultrasound and biopsy and it was negative. On December 2, 2010 started spotting > light period > spotting until December 9, 2010.
Alright, I'm 19, a virgin and about 6 days ago I noticed that I was starting to have dark brown discharge. Over the week, it's gotten heavier and I had to wear a liner so as not to stain my underwear. I should be expecting my period in about 2-3 weeks. Could this be my body cleaning out the old blood from my previous period? Does that tend to happen more often when tampons are worn? Surely it couldn't be a cervical polyp since I'm a virgin... Help?

Last night I discovered I have this brown discharge. I'm not pregnant or anything. I do take medication for depression and anxiety but I don't think that would cause this. I don't know if this could be because I'm getting older or what. Any thoughts?
I am now 41 years old. Im having a brown discharge the past few days with no pain, I have not had intercourse in about 1 week. This also happened 1 year ago and an exam and pap smear were all normal. Could I be having menopause this early? Can lack of hormones make one sort of bleed? The only symptom of menopause I have is night sweats. Ive been on antidepressants for the past 15 years so the tired, depressed, symptoms arent new.
My boyfriend and I had sex on the 22nd and the 23rd and yesterday afternoon, I noticed some brown discharge when I went to the bathroom. I was kind of crampy all evening. I'm not crampy today but I'm still having this brown discharge. I've been on birth control for 2.5 months and my boyfriend and I used a condom. I know that right after you have your period, brown discharge is normal cuz it's the old blood but I've never had this happen so many days after my period ended.
Light bleeding and the brown discharge started to appear, so I assumed my period just wanted to finish a day or two early. Now I haven't really bled since day four and it is now day eight and I went to wipe and there's brown discharge coming from my vagine hole. I'm scared I miscarried or something is wrong with me. I am a regular 5-6 day bleeder, periods on a 28-30 day cycle, and this one just didn't seem right. Any suggestions? I have a dr. Appt on thursday for a follow up on an ulcer.
Could peri menopause or fibroids cause a smelly discharge like this? I am going to the doctor in about a month but am nervous and would like your opinion.
