for about three weeks now every day I've been getting brown discharge, i don't know what it is. this happen to be before a few months ago but only for a few days and then it stopped but now its constant ... what should i do?
Hi mam, i am suffering with dark brown discharge in mid cycle. My period was on 29th march. And from yesterday that is from 15th april happening this. This is first time i am observing. One more thing i was taking the ivf treatment i did almost 1&half month cource of medicines. My blastocyte transfer was on 26th april but my transfer stopped due to corona lockdown but i took 5 progesterone injection till 26th. Please suggest is this normal discharge? Or something is wrong thing happening.

Sorry to hear about the non stop spotting! What a pain. Something that can cause this is a hormone imbalance such as too much progesterone production. You'll need to see a doctor to diagnose that if this is what is going on and they can treat you for it so that the spotting will stop. However, again, this requires a trip to the doctor. An ob/gyn is well versed in these sorts of things, so I'd schedule an appointment. If you don't have one, this is a good time to find one.

Brown discharge can be due to ovarian problems, hormonal imbalance, stress, anxiety, crashed dieting, use of birth control pills, change in environment, excessive exercise etc. Heavy bleeding can be due to can be due to hormonal imbalance, fibroids and polyps (non cancerous growth) in the uterus, endometriosis (deposits of the inner lining of the uterus in the pelvic cavity) etc. You might have to go for a complete hormone profile and ultrasonography to know the cause of this .
Ugh, sorry about the cheating ex. That stinks. So, hormone imbalance can cause that type of brown spotting. Example is if you make too much progesterone. That is probably separate from the new symptom of itchy vagina and swelling. When you see the doctor, don't lump them together. And hopefully they do some lab work on you to check your hormone levels. Are you on the pill or anything?
The itching and swelling may be a yeast infection.

Brown discharge is often old blood but why would you be having this? Sometimes a hormone imbalance can cause brown spotting midcycle (as in too much progesterone) but it is odd that you have bright red blood after intercourse. It makes me think something could be amiss with your coil I really do think you need to see a doctor. By the way, could you be accidentally pregnant?
I am having lower back cramping, sharp pains in my stomach and now heavy discharge mostly light brown with some red. Hi, 4 days ago i felt like I ovulated and then a little later in the date somthing came out of me, what looked like a mucus plug the following evening I had what looked like an eggwhite with blood and brown on one side of the rim. the next two days I had a brown discharge when I wiped. Today I only have a white or clear sticky discharge. I am so anxious and nerved up I dont think my heart can take waiting until I go to the obgyn tomorrow- I am so nervous please help? My last period ended on about the 4th or 5th of this month and it is normal for me to get a small amount of brown discharge a few days after my period ends. Now though, it is about a week after my last period and yesterday I was bleeding and having brown discharge. So I'm a little confused as to why this is happening since I just had my period. And since its a week after and not a couple days. I've never bled a week afterwards before.
7th, for a day or two, thought I was finally having my period, but then it stopped and brown discharge began, kind of as it does at the end of a period. This went on every day until last Sat, Aug 25th, when I bled again as if I were having my period. The bleeding went on for a full week. Things seemed to clear up again Sat Sep 1st, thought my system had worked things out, but then yesterday, Sep 3rd, the brown discharge began again, and as of today is continuing.
