I really want to know what the brown discharge is. Is it a sign of pregnancy or is my period coming? I want to take another HPT but I don't know if I should wait a few more days or just take it. I'm 1 month late so I don't know if it would make a difference.
I really want to be pregnant but I'm not stressing over it. I just want and need answers. Please if someone can give me advice I would be greatly thankful. I do have an Dr appt next week, but this is driving me crazy.
When it came time for me to have my period again, once i had taken the shot, I got this brown discharge for a couple of days which I just figured was my period, because I had cramps, period symptoms, etc. and thought it was just abnormal because of the shot. well i had a heavy period for a couple of days after a couple of days of the discharge. I usually have my period for about seven days.

When I got home I changed it and put a thin pad on, after that the brown discharge went on for 3 days and my period never came. But i never put back on a tampon, i continued using the thin pads. Just two days ago I got brown discharge again and today there's nothing. I took a pregnancy test, came out negative. My question is could it be the tampon that messed me up?
I have been spotting brown discharge, clotting and cramps for 3 weeks now, before this happened I had the worst PMS I have had (depression). When this all started it was a lot of brown discharge enough to soak a pad. this all happened 6 days before my period was meant to start. I went to the doctor and she said this is completely normal as I missed 2 contraceptive pills within a month and the bleeding from that is just coming out.
A brown discharge is usually a blood discharge. If the bleeding is quite slight then it takes longer to reach the outside world and turns from red or black to brown in the process. Such bleeding can be caused by all kinds of things - most commonly infections and erosions (these are raw patches on the cervix).
There are many other possibilities and the only way to find out what is causing it is to go and see your GP and get examined or referred to a gynecologist for examination.
In other words, if your period is late you might get a brown, rather than red, discharge. It could also mean that for whatever reason during your last menses the entire uterine lining failed to make a timely exit. In some cases however there is cause for concern like cervical cancer, pelvic Inflammatory Disease (PID), menopause, or sexually transmitted diseases like gonorrhea and Chlamydia .You should consult a gynecologist who will physically examine the local area and may consider tests.
I had a really bad cramp on the left side of my lower abdominal on 30/5(10days after my ovulation and had unprotected sex) and started having dark brown discharge on 3/6, until now (2 weeks)My period is late for 17days too.My dark brown/black discharge is not heavy and do not have any foul smell and a pad can last me for the whole day.Also,just yesterday, i felt nausea.Idk wat is happening to me, ive never experience this before.Maybe its stress?

Hi. So Ive been having brown discharge for 2 weeks and Im not sure why. I was on my period right before and after about 5 or 6 days, I notices the blood wasn't red anymore. It had turned brown. I figured this was just old blood and it would only last a few days but Ive been having this brown discharge for 2 weeks. Im not sure if it's maybe from my birth control. I have been taking yaz for almost 2 months and I haven't really had any side affects before.

Delayed periods can be due to pregnancy if you had unprotected intercourse. To confirm the status of pregnancy, I suggest you to test for pregnancy by a highly sensitive pregnancy test 10 days post ovulation with a sensitive ( 20 - 25 mIU ) pregnancy test. Also then I would suggest you to get your serum HCG levels estimated since this is more specific than urine for pregnancy tests.
somebody help me! I haven't had a period since july 25th! in august i had nothing but this month i've been having a brown discharge off and on, Is this my period or what? I've taken hpt and they say negative but my boobs have hurt for 4 or 5 weeks? What could this be? Has this happened to anybody?
i had this set up for months now because i refused to get rid of the supplies after my miscarriage. i have a job and a savings account but the account is not gonna be touched at the moment because i am saving it to buy a home. everything is in order and i know how much it'll cost im just not willing to spend hundreds of dollars to go to a doctor that im not familiar/comfortable with and allow them to run tests on me.
Hey Joy! Wow a month!!! I know it does go by fast!!! Mary will be 11 weeks old on Thanksgiving already. I can't believe it. She seems to have brown eyes. Up till now, only my oldest daughter had the brown eyes so she is glad to have a brown eyed sister :) As for Zoe's eyes.....From my experience, if their eyes are a really dark blue when they are born, their eyes tend to turn brown. But when they are a tad bit lighter at birth, they tend to go the blue or green route.
One day it was a light pink shade of blood but it has mostly been dark brown. For the past two days it has been a lighter brown and barely any. I had period like cramps the first day but no other pain. I also break out when I get my period and this time I broke out as well. Just to clarify some things...this has never happened to me before. I read it can be common in between periods but has never happened to me.
