Hey, sometimes in early pregnancy discharge can be much thicker and white. The brown and red colour discharge could be implantation bleeding, or spotting. I suggest taking another test with you first pee of the morning, and if still nothing.. see a doc. Good luck!

ll be 6 weeks Wednesday, but I recently noticed I have brown odorless discharge. Yesterday i noticed brown discharge seems like brown blood so today i went to the doctor and foumd out i was pregnant a hour later after founding out i started to bleed it was brown and light at first then started to get red and heavy .

5th I started getting a creamy light brown discharge, I thought I was pregnant and experiencing implantation bleeding, so I took a test after I got out of work on the morning of the 5th and thought I could see a VERY VERY faint line but the night of the 5th my spotting turned into bleeding for a day, got alittle lighter the next day, then was just spotting. The spotting just stopped last night and I noticed alittle of the mucus is back accompanied with the brownish milky discharge.

Yes it's completely normal to bleed during pregnancy but I would still go to the doctors to make sure everything is ok. Discharge is normal during pregnancy but unless it's cottage cheese time, has a foul or fishy smell or yellowish then it could be something else

Hi there I'm 5 weeks and 5 days pregnant with my first pregnancy. For the past 2 days I've had a very very small amount of discharge. It's normal color, no brown or red or anything strange. I had brown discharge for 5 days before my last period...I had a normal period. It came when it was souppose to and lasted the usual length. The brown discharge was kinda heavy and very dark. My next period is due in 15 days. I had protected sex a few weeks before this happened,and had protected sex 2 nights prior to the brown discharge starting. After the last time I had sex I took 2 of my birth control pills that I had missed,I didn't know if that could have messed up my hormonal balances?

Brown discharge is a good thing, it means old blood where red would indicate fresh blood, apparently it can be normal for brown discharge in early pregnancy

I am now 10 weeks and had 14 days of bleeding at week 5 which lasted for 12 days. It was different though. It was more like brown discharge rather than bleeding and was never red. I had an early scan at 8 weeks and all was fine. I think everyone is different. I have seen posts on here where women have had red blood and everything turned out fine. You should be more worried if the bleeding is red and you have painful cramps.
