brown discharge during period

I flowed red blood not heavy but enough to use pads and tampons for two days then my period stopped and it was brown discharge for two days maybe three .. and I usually have bad cramps during my period but for the past two month I got no cramps at all. I woke up bleeding and never felt my period coming. Usually I get PMS and horrible cramps before and during my period...but no cramps the entire period this month or last month. what is this change?

Every pregnancy is different, just because you didn't have any brown discharge with your first doesn't mean you shouldn't have any with this pregnancy either

I bled for a couple of days after. Then i started to experience brown discharge. When i got my period it was a really dark brown. I went to the doctors, had a pap test done. I had a bacterial infection. I took antibotics. Before my next period, i experienced that brown discharge but it was lighter and sometimes a lot of it. My period when it came was a light brown and it rarely had spots of red. It was a very light period and didnt last long. I went back and took more antibiotics.

Hello, I am on birth control, I had sex May 27 then got my period on June 1st, it was regular & on time. I had a pap biopsy on June 13 and bled from that from the 13th-24th. I was on vacation during this time and forgot to take my birth control at exact times but did take it as soon as I remembered. I then had sex on July 1, he pulled out. I got my period on time July 6 but it was a little shorter than usual.

But, last night when my boyfriend and I had sex there was a brown discharge. I thought maybe it was left over period blood but it was brown and creamy not bloody. We don't regularly use birth control could this mean I am pregnant? or could it mean something else?

Hey im goin threw the same thing im wondering if im pregnant i have had brown type white discharge..& im also having pregnacy symptoms i didnt get my period this month...i took 2 pregnacy testes & they both came out negative..but i soppose since i was bleeding on what i say implantation bleeding i guess my results wont come out accurate.... hopefully things go well wif u & check ur self...

that is what happens be for and after you have your baby and your period i had that happen to me and when i went to the doctor they said that it was old blood that was from my period but if that still happens go to the doctor and see what they tell you tell them that you have that problem and take a pg test to see if you are pleas let me now how it go"s k.

That's very common and nothing to worry about unless it continues for weeks or gets MUCH heavier. That brown discharge is just blood that did not get expelled during your last period. When blood gets "old" it turns brown. As your uterus is now preparing for your next period, the old blood is finally being shed. It happens to ALL of us, trust me. We either take to wearing mini pads for a few days after our periods or buying LOTS of new panties! LOL Please don't worry about it.

it has been two weeks since we did it on the days my dr suggested to do it on, around the time my new egg comes in, my question is, today i noticed a thick brown discharge. now ive seen it b4 sometimes the day i start my period and sometimes the day i get off, but my period isnt due for another 2 weeks, and that discharge isnt thick its more like thin kinda clear, which is my old blood i think, but like i said this discharge today was thick? brown discharge is just old blood that took a little longer to travel down. nearly everyone has it at some time. especially at the end of your period. if you think you may be pregnant take a test. try to eat light foods if your feeling unwell and stay away from greasey foods it will only make you feel worse. also many women get food cravings during or before a period its normal.

Then I had dark red blood with blood clots then the next day brown discharge and the following day red blood like a period with more blood clots followed by brown discharge and the next day it all stopped. Not sure if it was spotting, period, or implantation bleeding. Please help!

The brown spotting would be old blood and more than likely from your procedure. Implantation bleeding is rarely ever seen or hardly ever happens. Has the procedure been to help your start your periods up and have you talked to your doctor about why you don't get one? You'd have to wait at least about 9 or 10 days to get a positive test after implantation as well. That's the earliest that a line will usually show.

Your body may be preparing to start your period. The brown discharge is called old blood. The first couple of times you may have this discharge but you will eventually have the red blood. I would not worry unless it has an unusual smell, last for over a week or if you start having bad pains before discharge.
