Hi all. I'm 17 years old and I've been on birth control for a little more than a year and a half. I've had brown discharge before but not the week before my period, but during my ovulation. I'm a little confused as to what this means because it's never happened to me before and if I should go see a doctor about it. As of right now, it seems that the discharge is slowing or stopping I can't figure out which one at this point in time.
I'm on birth control and i suddenly have brown discharge 2 weeks before my period. I had sex a little over 2 weeks ago w/ a condom and he did not finish in me. when i saw the discharge, took a test and confirmed i am not pregnant. I started getting the discharge on Sunday. I got my cartilage pierced 1 week before that and it didn't hurt until sunday as well. i also developed a cyst behind my ear (still on head and not on ear) .

I’ve been on my pill for 7 months now, during my 7th month just a 2/3 pills before I was meant to have a break and go on my period I noticed I had a pinkish/brown discharge I then proceeded to come into my period as normal and now I’ve just finished my period and now I still have the same discharge? I’ve never had this at all since starting my pill what could this be??
Two weeks later, I got my period but it was weird. It was brown discharge two days before and then I got a light period for the next three days. I was worried for a moment but I felt fine. I haven't had sex since but I messed up on my pills. I was late by two hours on the past two or three due to activities. Now, I'm two weeks from my period due date and I'm having brown discharge (yesterday I had normal colored spotting so bright red) and I'm having cramping in my lower back.
My periods have been really regular except for this past month. On October 8-11 I got my period. On the 25 to the 2nd of November, I had really heavy brown discharge with also a little bit of light blood. And now it's sunday and my sugar pill week has passed and I did not get my period. I don't feel different at all. My boobs aren't sore or anything like that.
I just started a new pack even though I didn't get my period.

i have went off of it and my period has not come back on its own. They put me on a birth control pill to hopefully make my period start. Before that they had me on a 14 day pill that was suppose to make you start but it never did and i did two sets of the 14 days. I just started my birth control pill yesterday but for about two or three days now i have had really dark discharge and lately its been chunky.
s happening here, is that you did get your period from forgetting to take your pill, and the brown discharge is left over blood from your period. it would make sense that it's brown, since it's taking awhile to flush out of your body. are you having any discomfort or pain? if not, i'd guess it's just left over blood. i'd give it a few more days and if it doesnt clear up, then i'd make an appointment with your doctor, just to make sure everything is ok.
As I draw nearer to my period date, the discharge seem to get heaver color-wise. It would be light brown discharge one day, then red-ish the next, then back to brown and so on, sometimes red. I'm due in about a day or 2 and just today it started to look more like period blood when I use the bathroom. I thought I would start today, but after a few times on and off through the day, it seem to disappear and has resume back to light brown discharge.
Today I got a bit of brown discharge in my panty and I’ve been noticing flakes of red in my urine and I was curious as to if this was normal? (I usually get the discharge before my period and after but I’ve been on birth control for approximately 3 months -the pill- and I’ve been told it is supposed to affect me differently at the beginning and I just recently had sex a week ago, could I possibly be pregnant?) ve been having brown discharge for nearly eight days and it shows no signs of stopping. I was due on my period on the eighth of March but this brown discharge came on the sixth and has stayed. No sign of my regular period. I'm also on the Pill (Microgynon 30, been taking it for two months now) and have regular sex with my boyfriend, I know it can't be an STI or STD as neither of us have them.
This past weekend I had lost my virginity to my boyfriend (his first time too). I was supposed to get my period, which hasn't come even after I took a morning after pill. Twice before I took the morning after pill I had two random globs of blood and once a membrane like brown type of discharge. This is not something that is normal for me whatsoever.

I am on the pill. I am very regular never had a problem with my period. Last month I had sex and 1 day later I took my pill and threw up, but since I threw up I took another one. Later that month I got sick and had to took ibuprofeno even though it doesn't mess with my pill I took it 3 hours apart of the pill.
I NEVER spot before my period so I was convinced it had to be implantation bleeding when I started spotting scant amounts of light brown discharge 3 days before my period. I took Plan B after a condom broke during sex on my peak ovulation day. Pregnancy test was negative, but I thought it was too early.
My period came on time, exactly 28 days after the last one. I guess the spotting was either due to Plan B, or it was something new that I can expect to happen now.
