My periods have been really regular except for this past month. On October 8-11 I got my period. On the 25 to the 2nd of November, I had really heavy brown discharge with also a little bit of light blood. And now it's sunday and my sugar pill week has passed and I did not get my period. I don't feel different at all. My boobs aren't sore or anything like that.
I just started a new pack even though I didn't get my period.
ve had brown discharge thats showing no signs of going away, i normally have it on the 7th day of my period but this is really unsual for me and i don't know what to do, i doubled up on my pill (12 hours apart) for a few days which stopped my period but this discharge doesn't seem to want to go away and i want to be able to have sex with my boyfriend again without worrying about leaking stuff all over him haha, any help would be appreciated i'm going to the doctor when i can
s happening here, is that you did get your period from forgetting to take your pill, and the brown discharge is left over blood from your period. it would make sense that it's brown, since it's taking awhile to flush out of your body. are you having any discomfort or pain? if not, i'd guess it's just left over blood. i'd give it a few more days and if it doesnt clear up, then i'd make an appointment with your doctor, just to make sure everything is ok.
My period started on the 2nd of this month, and it ended on the 8th. On the 15th of this month i did have unprotected sex and took the morning after pill, for the first time. This morning i woke up with this brown discharge that Ive never had before. My question is,,,
Is this brown discharge a early sign of pregnancy or a reaction to the morning after pill?
i have went off of it and my period has not come back on its own. They put me on a birth control pill to hopefully make my period start. Before that they had me on a 14 day pill that was suppose to make you start but it never did and i did two sets of the 14 days. I just started my birth control pill yesterday but for about two or three days now i have had really dark discharge and lately its been chunky.
Hi. So, when we are on the pill, we don't 'really' get periods. The pill manipulates our hormones so we don't ovulate at all (required for a real period) and during the 'off week' of pills, that cessation of hormones in our system causes spotting. As hormones are added, taken away, we can have break through bleeding or spotting.
Another possibility, do you have any itching?

ve been on BC for 20 days that means you are about to the period pills. The brown discharge may be the start of your period and the stomach pains could be cramps. If you were pregnant you would only have been pregnant for 8 days, too soon to be having symptoms. I doubt it's pregnancy. Don't stress though or it will make your period late, causing you to stress more. You should go get a home pregnancy test to ease your mind and just wait for your period.
m scared the brown discharge is implantation bleeding!? Please make me feel better. I heard yaz makes people skip periods and stuff but i'm just freaking out! I took my pills everyday I thought I'd be fine...

Twice before I took the morning after pill I had two random globs of blood and once a membrane like brown type of discharge. This is not something that is normal for me whatsoever. Like I said my period was supposed to be here by now but instead, I have a very thin, yellow with a tint of brown discharge that smells like period or like a fishy odor. I cannot smell the odor unless I purposely try to... Normally before my periods, I have a very thick white discharge.
I took the MEP on 3/24/2012 after a condom broke. My period never came the following month 4/19/2012 so I took a pregnancy test, it was Negative. Went to the doctor and another test was negative. On the 21 and 24, had unprotected sex but didn't take the MEP after pill. 4/26 had slight pink discharge and 4/28 a spot of brown/red.
t mess with my pill I took it 3 hours apart of the pill. Then it was my period due, I had the usual cramps showing that my period was coming, but this time it was very very light almost nothing on the pad, when I wiped there was only dark brown "blood" but this "period" was very light and weird never had something like that, only when I wiped I could see a little red blood but barely anything. I freaked out. Then my period stopped.
ve been having brown discharge for nearly eight days and it shows no signs of stopping. I was due on my period on the eighth of March but this brown discharge came on the sixth and has stayed. Two days later, psycho me, I had a doctors appointment, told her about my story she done a pregnancy test (negative) and ensured me that I was not pregnant and told me the same things that the pharmacist had told me, the brown discharge is due to the pill and that my period could be irregular for a few months. I was calm for a day.
Got home, started googling so much stuff and I freaked out again so I had to return to her for a blood test because that is 100% accurate.
