the next morning the boy saw one of the dwarf hamsters trapped or hiding under the broken apart cage, she was wounded. she has a gash on her back. the other dwarf hamster came out three days later. she was the lucky one, no wounds of any sort, just dehydrated. we googled hamster wound and it said to use fish oil to treat it. my girlfriends aunt had some vitamin pills or something, that consist of fish oil. should we continue using them?

My hamster has a lump either in the back right of her cheeks or in her inner ear... i think it is the ear as her right ear looks as though it is pasted down over the lump, but she wont be still long enough for me to take a look and i dont want to hurt her... mainly my question is: Is there any way i can give her some tylenol or some other pain medication? She keeps squeaking as though she is in pain and i dont want her to hurt.
My hamster was fine about 12 hours ago. I came home from work to find her laying in the bottom of her cage. She has little to no movement and looks as if she hasn't eaten in days. I tried to give the hamster about 4 drops of water in two hours and she barely drink it. What should I do. The hamster doesn't apper to have wet tail.

The store worker took the cage away and put the hamster in a cardboard box for us to take home. have you tried bentadryl? it's good to help with sleeping, also hylands restful leg will help with your restless leg syndrome. Sorry I don't have any advise on the sweating, someone had said you can buy otc detox tea that might help but I am not sure on that. contgrats 4 days clean you are almost there. keep posting.
Anyhow, your daughters hamster probably had an early stage of this disease when purchased. I would go to the store with the hamster and request that the hamster be evaluated by the store vet. If that is not possible (if the pet store declines) than request a refund and surrender the hamster to the store.

I was in a half cast, basically on the back of my leg and below the foot for a touch over a week, so I was unable to move my ankle and leg and was on crutches. Then 2 days ago I went to the outpatients department and the doc took the cast off me and told me to start walking on it with the aid of crutches as it isn't the weight bearing bone.
He said that the bone will heal by itself without the cast and even with me putting a bit of pressure on it.
Our hamster passed away on 11 25 11. We assumed he died of old age. However, after taking photos of him before we buried him. I noticed that his private part was partially black.
