Last night we opened our backdoor to find a stray kitty (adolescent male). I noticed he was malnourished and gave him some milk and chicken (all I had for an animal). Then I noticed he was favoring one leg. I think it might be broken! I've called a few places and no one wants to deal with him, of course. They're just going to want to euthanize him instead of help him. So my question is this--- what do I do?!?!?!?!

so my docter did surgery one year later, he took the nail out of my leg and replaced it with a plate and and screws, during surgery he broke my fibula to get the plate in place. i dont no why he did it but my tibia feels alot better and now my fibula is broken, my question is has anyone ever had a corrective surgery on there tibia and had there fibula broken. And how long does it take for the fib to heal and am i screwed ? i dont know what to do.

Can you determine that the leg isn't broken? Will he let you move the leg at the hip joint? If he isn't acting like he is in severe pain, will eat and drink. I would try keeping him quiet and only take him out to potty. You know your dog best so you would have to make a judgement call as to if he needs the Vet.

m not sure I am understand this right but seems he has problems with the leg/foot that was broken? I would think, the only you can determine what is going on for sure is take him to the Vet (possibly another one or an Ortho Vet if you have one in your area) and get an x-ray on that leg to see if they can see what's going on for sure. I lost my dog Jeffie almost a year ago after a routine cataract eye surgery. My Dog Jeffy was like my son I miss him and I have another dog that is still alive my little girl Buddy. What kind of dog is your puppy and what size? Do the other's wrestle with him? Are they much larger? Have you seen him get hurt by the other dogs before? Anything else? Is he limping? Has he pooped today? How bout yesterday? What did it look like? More info. would be helpful..... No, I don't think his tail is broke.........
