Breast pain both breasts

Common Questions and Answers about Breast pain both breasts

breast

Avatar f tn This is a hormonal response and it may happen on a regular basis. Most women's breasts do become quite tender at that time and lumpy breast tissue is also not uncommon in younger women. This would not be a sign of breast cancer .... especially when it's something that affects both breasts. Regards ....

6958395 tn?1386471094 Okay so for four weeks now (roughly) my breast have been super tender and irritated. It hurts to wear a bra, and sometimes even painful to take a shower (can also be soothing just cause of the heat and pressure). It's painful to lay on my stomach and it's also painful to hug people or even touch my books in general. Going on week four I am very frustrated because I have no idea what's going on.

Avatar f tn tall and weigh 124 pounds but I have always had large breast for my size. I take a 38DD size. I am wondering if the lack of support for my breasts may be causing my pain. I had two siblings die from cancer but it originated in their lungs. I gave up smoking in the 1960s, so I don't think that is my problem. Just wonderng what else may be causing the pain and whether I should have it checkd. Thank you.
Avatar f tn I have been expierencing breast tenderness in both breasts at times painful and very tender to the touch. Recently, I have noticed a lump on the side of my left breast or slightly into my left armpit which has gotten slightly bigger and I at times seem to have a nagging pain there and can feel it somedays more then others. Also, I do regular self breast exams and seem to have lumps on both breasts but not sure exactly if it is tissue or actual lumps tha I am feeling.
Avatar n tn The good news is that this is very unlikely to be breast cancer, since the lumps have been there as long as you can remember (BC would have reached an obvious and severe level by now) and because they are in both breasts (breast cancer typically occurs in just one breast initially). Most likely the lumps are related to hormones (do they seem larger and more tender at certain times of the month?) or are another type of benign lump.
Avatar f tn Im currently,at the moment, and off and on, have been having sudden pain on both sides of my breasts. The pain suddenly happens, feeling a throbbing, stinging pain; that I would rate at a 7. I looked in the mirror, I noticed on the side of the right breast theres a deformity slightly under the skin, as well as a vein going from my areola to mid breast bulging, that has appeared about 3-4 days ago.

Avatar f tn Hi, I went to my GYN two yrs ago and she told me I have very lumpy breasts after doing a breast exam. She sent me for a mammo/ultrasound. The mammo came back clear but the ultrasound showed a cyst. They never told me at the time, anyway for two weeks now I have had breast soreness and strikes of pain (became slight burning) in my right breast so I went back to GYN.
Avatar n tn The pain is in both breasts, my right breast is way bigger than the left. There is pain the whole way around both of them but the closer you get to the nipple the more tender and painful it gets.

Avatar n tn I have been having some under arm pain (no swelling in the lymph nodes and no bumps) and some pain deep in my breasts. Almost in the muscle. But I am more concerned with the lumps. I have no history of breast cancer in my family and I just turned 22. Any input would be appreciated.
Avatar f tn Both of my breast have dark green discharge when you press not leaking. I am 30/f and breast fed 3+ years ago. Moderate pain.
Avatar m tn Hi, First of all, pain is almost never associated with breast cancer, but Fibrocystic Breast changes, which is characterized by having fibroglandular tissue present in the breast can cause the pain in one or both breasts and you may also feel a lump or lumps within the breast tissue. The primary cause tends to be due to the natural hormonal changes before menstruation. Try to reduce caffeine intake (coffee, tea, soft drinks, chocolate).
Avatar m tn I have a horrible, dull pain on the side of both breasts & underneath my armpit. I work in a factory so it possible that's something is pulled, but it's random. I could go weeks with no pain, and once the pain starts, it's consistent for a while. I have recently added on quite a bit of weight & I'm wondering if it's just muscle pain from gaining so much weight. Any tips would be much appreciated!
Avatar f tn http://www.imaginis.com/breast-health/breast-pain. I hope you find it helpful, but zouzi is right---rarely is breast pain associated with breast cancer. I agree with her that you should see your doctor and follow any recommendations for testing. Instead of being scared, you'll be informed and know exactly what is going on in your particular case. Hopefully, you'll have peace of mind instead.
