t done any research only my common knowledge of regular milk is that the cows are pumped with hormones to force them to produce milk even when they are not feeding their calfs even long after their calf is grown and those same hormones work the same with women who consume the milk or dairy product from said cows) could this be why my breast milk hasn't come yet because I'm not adding any hormones like that to my body?

There were times where it was too painful, or an abscess was on the areola, or the surgical drainage affected the ability to breastfeed, when that happened I would just hand pump in the shower to release the milk, and breastfeed normally out of the unaffected breast. Although the milk production is lower in the breast that I have GM I was still able to produce enough milk and my son is exclusively breast feed.
