They do have drops but took them off the market for over the counter. With four kids of my own and one on the way...i looked up home treatments. I'm never using meds for pink eye again, breast milk cures it over night for the most part!!

Today, it started again just about 24 hours later, bright red blood changing to pink and then again to nothing, and now a clearish pink. I just got out of the shower and as I was drying off I notices a tiny bit of milk (not colustrum) coming from one nipple. Has anyone had this, and what was the outcome? Thanks!

Guys are so funny, aren't they?!?! Gotta love 'em. The only thing I would look out for is in your later 3rd trimester (about 33+ weeks), nipple simulation and breast feeding can bring on labor. So, I'd hold him off during that time until you are 40 weeks or so.. But yeah, as long as you are comfortable with it, there is no problem with that..

My theory is, if breast milk is so much better for a baby than formula, then why do you need to feed a every 2 to 3 hours on breast milk and every 3 to 4 hours on formula? If you pump go for electric. When storing milk they sale bags for breast milk at Walmart I'm the bottle section when freezing only freeze 2 to 3ozs at a time. Because breastfed babies only eat 2 to 3ozs after a few weeks and further on in life. You can save the milk in the fridge in those same bags for 5-8 days and never shake the bag just stir the separated milk back together.
